The glow remained when he took his hand away. When he touched it again, it faded away again.

Marco checked if there was any kind of magical signature in the area, including within himself. Maybe they were out of range of the magic dampers.

When he checked for the signature, a series of designs on the wall began to glow. The room was a thaumaturgic focus, then...?

"What the hell...?" he murmured. He looked around. Did he recognize any of these symbols? He began to walk around the room, scanning for any symbols he might recognize.

Each wall had the sigil for an element. The ceiling had the shadow glyph and the floor appeared to have some form of summoning circle.

Marco looked at all of it, spinning in the middle of the summoning circle. "What in the world! This is insane...why, this would summon...I don't even know!"
He looked down at the floor. He couldn't quite tell what it was designed to summon. He knelt down and laid a hand in the middle of the circle. He let just a tiny bit of mana trickle out, in the hopes of figuring out exactly what was on the other side.

A glow flowed outward from his hand through all of the room's designs. He'd barely put in any mana.

Marco pulled back quickly. When it appeared that nothing else was happening, he knelt back down and ran a finger around one of the lines. With a shrug, he put in just a tiny bit more.

A face appeared over the symbol.
"Director? Is something wrong?"

Marco hastily pulled all of his mana back, scrambling out of the summoning circle. He pulled his sleeves up to reveal rows of runes and symbols, just in case.

"Director? Director, are you there? Why are you contacting me? Director?" The face was still directed away from them.

Marco hastily did all he could to obliterate the signal, from attempting to draw back his mana signature to trying to cloak it.
In the end, he raised one hand and fired a Force Bullet right into the center of the summoning circle, aiming to blow away the delicate symbols of the innermost ring.
