Lex groaned as his leg was driving him batty with pain, his head swimming slightly as he moved alogn quickly enough to keep ahead. he gave a loud whistle of attention to the drone and tried to give some signal to the large creature tailing him. to the drone it probably didnt look any friendlier then it did to lex. he was moving to veer off to one side of the machine, hoping it would get the idea, him carting the 3 beings in arms. his mind chattered to himself. [thank the gods.. some real fire power.]

From a splendid vantage point standing upon the top of a tree near the crater where the Dojo once stood, Truinthil grinned at the unfolding scene. It brought him so much amusement to see KB, weak and useless getting his a** torn apart by a Demon who was crafty, but didnt seem all that strong either.
For the moment he would be content in watching the rabbit man flee behind a damaged drone. The drone looked like it could attempt an attack upon the Demon, but likely it would be a futile effort to save itself and those behind it. The possibility of more deaths, without him having to lift a finger, interested him. And when the Demon was through with its prey, he would swoop into finish the job entirely. Or if not, he would at least play with the creature for a short while.

OOC: 4laugh JOY! Waiting was worth it. =3
IC: As the noxious clouds roll towards the dojo, Leah bursts out of them. With a monstrous leap he crashes into the ground behind(if you're facing away from him)/in front of Lex.
"Here bunny bunny bunny..."
He lashes out again, using both long arms to slice at Lex across the torso and groin with his short but no less lethal claws.

the image of the small clump of people was already fuzzy when leah swung, and hed find himself swinging at what was already gone, the trace image vanishing as he caught it. hed left the drone a clean shot straight at the large demon, his exit point unknown of the quick teleport. at least right now.

The drone of course was keeping track of the demon during the entire event, and thusly a large spearlike metal forelimb came upon the demon with hopes of impaling him and crushing him to the ground. Given the few tonnes of weight on the attacking drone, it wouldn't be that hard to crush a mere fleshy. Nonetheless the only hard part would be hitting the thing, a task not all that easily accomplished by a computer that had it's circuitry torn out and scrambled.

Leah takes the full impact of the spear directly to the bulging chest, where it punches through the skin and scraps across bone, tearing a line across his torso. However, it goes no further than that.
Leah sneers at this new obstacle, some sort of combat machine, and damaged at that. It had torn through the thin skin streched across his chest, but the nercophagic bone below was made of sterner stuff. It had barely scrathed the surface. He wrenches the limb away with one hand and raises the other to point at it. Three massive fireballs explode from his hand at near pointblank range.

lex would frown as he wasnt getting anywhere any faster and grumbled, letting kb down gently behind a stone outcropping.. "hang on... long as you can i guess. ill be back.. hopefully after i distract him.." hed stand back up and darted quickly, looking back to the drone, forcing its own hefty size into the large demon, its already unstable systems and core, more then likely to make a rather nice explosion and hopefully smother the demon with it in the process. it seemed dangerous enough given the previous happening when hed seen them detonate. why not this time?

With a bored groan, Xol's silky black aura began to encompass his body.
"Make up your mind quickly Irvine. I'm a very impatient man of late..."
That was all the warning he would give as he ignored all the rest of the beings around him and dissolved to where abouts unknown.

Another day's walk found the traveler at this...place...another place destroyed. The figure grew angry three locations in a row. Two decimated towns and now this ..this crater. This hole in the ground. No life...nothing for entertainment but walking. The first signs of this being's rage shone through. His tail smashed against the dirt with a great force leaving a huge dent in the ground.
"Three places...not a single living creature to occupy our time....perhaps we died and went to some hell where this is all we can do."
The figure called out to himself before walking closer. The anger of finding three ruinated places in a row got to him finally. A faint purple glow emitted from the figure as the crimson glow of his hues increased. The man clenched his fingers into fists while his tail lashed in the air angrily back and forth. With a great yell into the sky a towering collumn of purple light shot upward into the night sky. A beam of shadow energies only topped by the huge echo of his furious roar that boomed around the forest near this crater for many many miles around. After the great display had faded the figure relaxed his hands, his tail stopped lashing and went limp behind him, and lastly the man pulled the cloak over his face and started to move again. Walking around the crater to the next location he could find. Praying to the great gods above that someone...something..even a bug...resided there.

Irvine. Irvine Gray. That was his name. It seemed to register with him but only vaguely. As did the other man's name. Xol. Xol Solaris. All of a sudden it was as if a lightning bolt had shot its self through his entire nervous system. The man was writhing with pain upon the ground. Veins in various places of his body rose as the man felt a searing pain wracking his pain over and over again. Memories. More memories were flooding into his being. The Death and Ressurection of Irvine Gray Irvine was so overwhelmed by the awesome attack that he took his eyes off Xol which was his first mistake. Irvine looked left, then right, and then finally over head. He was just in time to see a barrage of dark energy balls. Using his own energy blast, Irvine counterd Xol's. Then, spinning on his heel too turn around, he was met full in the chest by the Black Rose. Irvine's eyes widened with shock and pain. He fell to his knees. He inhaled a shuddering breath and then exhaled, looking up at Xol. He coughed up some blood.
"Est...Sularus....Oth....Mithas....My Honor...is...my...life. I die...goodbye...my...brother...be...at...peace..."
With one final shuddering gasp for breath, Irvine keeled over backwards. He clutched his sword in his hand, looking up at the night sky with dead eyes. Irvine's body lost it's silvery hue. The shield surrounding the garden dispersed. Irvine Gray was dead.------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Hello Irvine...It's finally nice to meet you. If your watching me, then I bet your wondering who I am. Well, to put it simply, I am your mother..."
After that comment, a wry grin spread across her face. Was this young girl really Irvine's mother? She looked nothing like Irvine. She had long, black, silky hair. Green eyes that held such an intensity and beauty that they were like two emeralds in her face. However, looks could be deceiving.
"Yes, Irvine, I truly am your mother. This is just one of my many different forms. Like your father undoubtedly told you, I am a Sorceress with immense power. I seduced your father and he fell right into my hands. He did everything for me. And as you know, I fell in love with him. It was a deep love. A deep passionate love that changed me forever. However when I grew pregnant with you, I knew that if I kept you, you would be ridiculed and tormented when you left my protection. So I left you with your father. And look how you turned out. I was always forced to watch you from afar. I watched you grow into the man you are. I watched as you became a Knight and then went on and became a Paladin. I was so proud of you. However, I could never find the courage to meet you in person. And now that your gone..."------------------------------------------------------------------------- Irvine lay on the cold, hard, earthen ground. Rocks poked into his back and sides as he lay there. His breathing was normal for once. Not heavy or fast. Just normal. A cool breeze blew over him. Irvine's eyes shot open. There were no cool breezes in the Abyss. Instead of a red fiery sky, Irvine was met by a purple one. The faint glow of stars began to show in the darkening sky. Irvine sat up and looked around. He was outside of a town. There was a particularly large comotion coming from a local tavern not to far away, but Irvine really wasn't paying attention to that. Irvine stood up and looked down at his hands. They were wrapped with white cloth and on each wrist was a shattered shackle. Irvine goggled for a second but then slowly, a smirk crept on his face.
"So it WASN'T a dream! I really AM alive! YES! It worked! Mother! It worked! It really worked!" Suddenly the man stopped convulsing. He lay on the ground unmoving. He looked dead. Then suddenly his eyes shot open. Only this time they weren't gold and silver. His right was pure white and his left was totally black. His body began convulsing again only this time he wasn't writhing in pain. His body was shaking full of rage. Irvine got to his feet, a drunken blood red haze covering his vision. His white and black eyes narrowed as he looked at the sky where Xol had been. His teeth were clenched so tight that it had gone numb. He then uttered a monstrous roar and a name."AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! XOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!" His gray tribal tattoos had suddenly changed color from gray into white and black. The left side of his body sported white colored tattoos that were glowing brilliantly while his right side was chalk full of black tattoos that were emanating a dark aura. The Gray inside of Irvine was very close to being released. As his rage and hatred rose, his tattoos began to glow more brightly. His white right eye and black left eye opened wide and he threw his head back. A white hot lightning bolt shot out of the sky and struck Irvine. In a bright flash of light Irvine was gone. The only thing left behind of him was a crater beside the one of the Black Company.

Walking around the crater to the next location he could find. Praying to the great gods above that someone...something..even a bug...resided there. Still near the crater of the once glorious dojo of the Black Company, Truinthil heard the various loud noises generated by the newly arrived creature. Tilting his head and sitting up from a resting position high in a tree not far from the clearing where the Dojo once stood, Truinthil looked around. "Now...I wonder who that could be. Perhaps a plaything. Perhaps one worthy of adding to my collection. Perhaps perhaps. It's always perhaps with these people. One minute they are suitable playthings and the next they are nothing but trash, weakened by their own selves, dying in ways that make them useless or disappearing. Maybe this one will be otherwise? Maybe maybe." Truinthil rambled. He certainly still had his apparant insanity and random monologue going for him. Standing quickly then, Truinthil bolted from the tree branch, headed for the clearing where he had heard the commotion come from. "Here kitty kitty kitty!"

On a path leading to the Dojo soft footsteps could be heard. Misukai walked down the path with a slight bounce to her step. She was carrying a cute panda-pack on her back. She seemed to be in a good mood as she talk to the panda. "We might be able to finally meet her, huh Panda?" She looked up and watched the clouds as she walked, smiling to herself.
Misukai walked for a while till she finally stopped watching the clouds and returned her view to the path ahead of her. She stopped, smile disappering as well. Where she expected to find the Dojo she found nothing except a crater. She sat down and sighed, Panda slipping off her shoulders. "Is this really the place?" She stared at the crater for a moment then looked down and shook her head, picking up Panda and hugging him tightly. "How are we ever gonna find her now..."
Misukai had been on a search for her sister. She had traveled all around but always seemed to be one step behind her. She heard a rumor that she would be going to a place call 'Black Company'. This was her only hope to meet her sister. But now she had reached a dead end. She was tired of seaching. All she wanted to do was meet her sister and find a home.
