Anyways--- since Rain went and spoke up now---

APPARENTLY the problem isn't the bone yard, at all, but the super high spell casting drow.

I believe B said two drow were helping to cast prismatic and the others were probably helping to create the other two effects.

Basically, neither drow could probably do the spell by themselves.

In essence, their was complaints because the main mode of transportation was met with THE WALL and its cousins.

Which just sounds retarded, and Fen and N_I already covered all the other possible points.

Basically, I don't really know what the hell the heroes want, as apparently the bad guys aren't really doing all that much in retrospective...

As for the taking over the world comment... the necromatic council does kinda rule the northern areas of our 'world'.

Also, if you don't like how 'events' or things are handled here, then go play somewhere else.

No one here is trying to be a supreme a*****e, and we try to talk things out beforehand, before large stuff happens.

Looking over the stuff, we just have the bone yard and walls being put up, so not...really anything major to SCREAM MURDER about.

Other than that, I DON'T KNOW. I don't have all the answers.

Maybe no one should play and I should just lock the whole guild and say Moses wins.

Generally I stay fairly quiet about these things and let the big fishies go at one another... but this is two nights in a row, I've had to slog through pages upon pages of bitching from both sides.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

My FIRST proposal, is that we make a thread, right now for discussing disputes, something like the judging thread in HoH, but without 'official' judges because that will become an issue all in itself. But simply a place where issues such as these can be discussed, instead of polluting the OOC. 'cause lets face it... this isn't the first... and it's wishful thinking to suggest it'd be the last.

SECONDLY,

I suggest that each person with a complaint goes and states it in said thread, so that we can deal with each issue accordingly. Because right now everything is so fleebin' miscommunicated that nobody knows exactly what 's what anymore.

NOW. When dealing with said issues, smart a**, belittling remarks are not appreciated. Complaints, questions and suggestions are valid and nobody should be made to feel stupid with 'DUH' responses.

As for my stand on the ENTIRE Barton thread....

It's the biggest ******** and headache I've tried to make sense of since the GTB Tourney.

As part of the Council I will say right now, we have no intent of giving back Barton. It's capture and occupation is our objective and we have the means to achieve it through a united front of nightmarish baddies.

HOWEVER.

If this is supposed to be an event, ways for others, would-be heroes or heroes plain and simple to be involved would be nice. I realize that we have the resources to shut down the city the way we have... but if we were planning on having people try and save barton, some consideration of how to make it fun and interactive should have been paid.

For example, key points and the town square etc can be captured and fortified, but we should have set up one or two places that could be battles for hostages that they could actually win and IC'ly do some good even if they don't win overall instead of shutting them down and winning at every turn.

Barton is ours, no debating that, but if we have this many fleebin' NPC's we can afford to let them kill off a few 'high ranks' defeat a few baddies and save some civilians and just have fun OOC'ly 'til they have to admit defeat and leave.

FFS.
