"What do you see?" Kobei was worried it was just another knock-off like before.

She moved her hands around in search of the two amulets, and finally had them in her hands.

KB was confused by the question, and so his reply was a bit sluggish. "I don't know? A necklace? It's black, looks kinda old. All squarish and whatnot. Looks like something some aztec would wear." He remarked, as he handed it back to Kobei. KB really couldn't describe the pendant, given that it meant very little to him. As far as jewlery went, he'd never been very interested.

Kobei's forehead popped a vein as she was handed the pendant.

She turned it over in her hand, and scraped the surface of the backing with her fingernail. No traces of grooves. It was flat, no indentation of a stamp.

The thing was original. Not a fake. She was glad.

"Where are we?"

Glancing back outside, KB reached up and scratched his head. It was a good question, a bit of a tricky one to answer really... "Apparently we're at a big smoking crater, which is weird. Could've sworn there was something here before." He answered, as he watched the shapes up ahead. The Dojo was something in the back of his mind, though in it's current state he couldn't match the two together. After all, there was no reason to assume anything could wipe out the Dojo, especially leaving so much of the surrounding area intact.

"A...Crater?" Kobei was unaware that the Dojo was blown up. She knew that she had found Eva with the drone, but that was all.

Because of her unfourtunate event, she couldn't tell where they were. It was also unfortunate that KB had no idea either. It was hopeless, unless they were to find someplace familiar.

"Hey, isn't there supposed to be a building here?" He asked, tapping atop the steering wheel. For some reason he was sure there was supposed to be something important here. Something to do with hiring outside help, something chaotic.

"Hmmm. Maybe? Maybe not? I was pretty sure there used to be some kind of building here. Like a training place or something. Had this little garden thingie full of ponds and roses. It was all kind of weird, like asian or something..." He rambled, going off the images in his head. They were brief and fleeting, but this had to be the place, there were after all no other main roads so well upkept.

~Like Asian or something.~ It reeled in her head. She had children with this guy? neutral

"A Dojo... But why..."

Another thing popped into her head. She had left Kaiden in the care of Tegral. The Dojo was gone. And that would mean... Her son was gone.

She pushed the drivers seat forward strongly, pushing KB uncomftorably into the steering wheel. She unlocked the door, and slid out, stumbling to her surroundings. Kobei didn't make it far, before losing her balance, and falling to her knees. She couldn't see anything, so it didn't matter.

Having been crushed up against the steering wheel, KB's head smacked into the windshield. He growled to himself and Kobei as the seat snapped back, and he stumbled out of the car after her. He didn't know what exactly had her in such a mood all of a sudden, but the mention of the Dojo seemed to make sense.

Regardless, KB remained standing next to the door, watching Kobei. "What the heck are you doing?!" He called out, as he saw her stumble a bit. For some reason Kobei just started wiggin' out, which would probably end up getting her killed up ahead by the giant metal bug...

Lex gave a sigh as he came back to a clearing and blinked... hed wandered.. in a circle... and ended up back near the dojo.. he just grumbled a little.. this was some kind of bad joke by the gods or something. hed look around and a small ways away saw the odd vehicle that had shown up while he was wandering aimlessly it seemed.. "what the.." he turned and shielded his eyes a little from the sun and looked out at the object.. stepping forewards to inspect.. 'what is that??''

Kobei would turn her head back to him. "Lead me back..."

She was an emotional wreck. She didn't realize what she had done, nor did she really care. She didn't know what to do, but all that made sense was she was being stupid, and that KB was trying his best to keep them out of harms way.

KB wasn't aware of the returning Lex, no, he was a bit more focused on his gal, Kobei. She seemed to have gotten into some pills, or had a screw loose, or something. after all, KB's memory was a bit nondescript. No doubt he'd recognize Kaiden upon meeting the boy, but for now simply seeing a ruined building wasn't as stirring for him as it was for her.

Nonetheless, he wasn't a complete d**k. He'd move to Kobei's side quickly, pulling her into his arms as he lead her back to the car door. "Hmm, What's wrong?" He murmured, curious as to what the hell was up as he opened the car door. He'd slip inside, and pull Kobei onto his lap. There was enough room in the front for the two of them to speak, in private.

Lex padded closer and closer, not really very intimidating, mroe curious and perturbed by the car.. hed move to within maybe the better part of 25 feet and watched and listened alittle from a near by tree, his marked, tan and white form not exactly outstanding, but also not invisible.

Kobei didn't really want to tell him. It was a selfish act to leave such a young boy on his own like that.

"I hope he's alright... I really do." she commented, once getting pulled into the car.

Kobei was a tad uncomftorable at this point. Nto physically, but she seemed tense because of Kaiden, and his whereabouts, unknown to her.

Why me, he thought as he sensed others around him. While no offensive aura came from them it still left Whist feeling surrounded, and with his only ally gone and left Whist faced a being he couldn't even analyze. He had no knowledge of machines at all, nor of insects, nor of plasma for that matter. In the end all he could do was look on at this thing as another threat he likely could not handle.
His breath was coming in hard as he moved aorund, avoiding blasts and becoming more and more furstrated with himself for his inability to attack. Something was holding him back, a nagging feeling. A nagging feeling he needed to silence. The Drone helped him with that as one of the plasma rounds got close enough to seer(sp?) the flesh on his left arm and leave a nasty burn. The pain, the frustraion, the feeling of the other beings coming down on him... he snapped.
The other Whist took over, becoming an angry and volatile being. The tmeperature around his body raised immensly, to the point that the wood was lighting back on fire and the sand and dirt below his feet turned to glass. This form reached to his inward chakra and built up his energy in his arms and legs. The first burst sent him underneath the drone faster than it's reaction time, though still too slow not to be seen. The second burst had Whist using his injured left arm to literally grab a striking leg and stop it. The third came fromt he left arm and easilly surpassed the other two combined, allowing Whist's arm to come down over the metallic leg and snap through the shell, breaking it off the creature entirely,
The finally came as WHist dodged the next attack made by the creature and aimed a palm up. Fire appeared in his hand and heated up, surpassing the energy consumption of the plasma the creature used. This force blasted through the underlying shell and within a second the inards of the mecha heated and melted everything.
Stepping back from the burning thing, Whist ran after Tsubaki.

((Lame, lame, so very lame, I know. Sorry KB, I do not know your drones very well so if this is not possible tell me and I will edit.))

(( Though I'm a bit lost as to how the whole attack played out, I really don't care. It's not like the drone was an integral storyline part, just a tool you used. No hard feelings, after all, over-heating is one of the highest weaknesses of the unit. If anything I should be amused that didn't auto-kill it with one simple hit, and that you actually had your character injured. ))

Kobei was talking, that was a good sign at least. "...Who?" He asked, his tone a bit distant. At the moment, he had bigger things on his mind than Kobei freaking out over a building. Selfishly, he neglected her and only half-paid attention to the conversation.
