Shiny Gligar Cabron LaSwan Shiny Gligar Ohh. I see. I get what you mean. Some people can be real douchebags. In real life, I've pretty much just stopped sharing anything creative. I mean, my friends make fun of the things I like or the things I want to do. It's not even constructive criticism. I can handle things like that. Most of the time, I find that the people who are the most condescending like that are also the least secure in themselves. My sister always used to tell me that I couldn't sing and I'd never make it big because I was too fat and ugly to be a celebrity and my lyrics sucked, and she admitted a couple years ago to me that she'd only been so mean because she was jealous that she'd never set foot in a recording studio or been in a garage band or gotten that sort of recognition from our father - she always wanted to be a singer too, but she just doesn't have the patience to train at it, and she was frustrated by how easily it seemed to come to me.
I don't really know your friends so I don't know if they would be jealous of that sort of thing, but I don't believe that humans are ever spiteful by nature, so I would theorize that their need to belittle you stems from an insecurity of some sort. Maybe they wish they could express themselves like you do without feeling self-conscious about it? I dunno. Maybe. They're pretty great at other things that I'm not good at. :u I'm sure that not very many people mean to be spiteful. Maybe they don't know it bothers you? I mean, playful jabs are pretty common around friends. Have you ever told them you don't like it?

We have enough in common that our conversations revolve around common interests. It would just be nice to have someone to brainstorm s**t with. I only had like, one musical friend, and me and him haven't hung out in years. lolo

I'm sure you'll find another one soon, though. The musically inclined are pretty common, but from my experience a lot of them are reluctant to share, just like you.

Cabron LaSwan Medeus Cabron LaSwan How come you need to go through an interview process and prove that you're capable of working an entry-level job responsibly and diligently before you even get on the floor, but you can just waltz into a pet store or get knocked up and be entrusted with the survival, upbringing, and happiness of a living thing with absolutely no proof of competence or commitment? I mean, if people absolutely have to be evaluated and judged by an inflexible standard, why is such a system only in place for things that failing at won't diminish anybody's quality of life? Surprisingly relevantly, I heard on the radio a couple months ago that there's some proposal out there somewhere that basically mandates Government Control over who can and can't have Children, presumably based on income and whatnot...I didn't get a whole lot of detail, but that's what I heard. [/conversation start] Oh, I do not like that one bit. As much as I think it's important for parents to be required to understand the basics of parenting, I don't think that denying them the right to have children altogether is the right way to go about - especially not if income is the qualifying criteria! Rich kids, though they are well provided for, are stereotypically the most starved for their parents' love and attention.
I was thinking more along the lines of a practical test, followed by a mandatory class or something for people who fail. You know, kind of like a combination of anger management and leadership training. Something that will give people an honest chance to think about just how much this will require of them and whether it's something they have the time and dedication for.
I actually heard something a lot scarier though. I heard that the government actually wants to start raising children for parents. eek I dunno if it's true or not, cause Sean says a lot of things, but if it is, I am getting the ******** out of Canada before Harper takes that idea up the a** too. Or they could make sex education better and make child caring classes mandatory in schools. It's amazing how some of the most rudimentary skills in life go untaught in schools. It also helps to have some common sense. I don't think I'm ready to have kids, so I won't have any. That simple. I probably won't have kids until I feel I'm ready and right now I don't. I'm still in college and I don't even have my own place yet. I'd be an idiot to have a kid right now. I like the whole idea of a competency level test for parenting. I know one jock a*****e I went to school with who just had a kid. Good for him, except he still lives with his parents and the only thing he's good for is sports and he doesn't even have a job. (Nice job, dipshit.) I pity the kid.

>dog whines to go outside >Mel tells her to shut up >dog goes to the back door and whines to go outside >Mel yells at her to shut up >dog scratches at the backdoor and ******** SAKE MILEY, SHADDAP" >dog can't hold it any longer, goes at the backdoor >Mel comes out and sees it >yells at the dog some more
Or it went something like that. I dunno, I was upstairs and only really heard whimpering, scratching, and bitching. I feel bad for everyone unlucky enough to have her in their life. That is, everyone who isn't leaving in 42 more days. 42 more days YAY~
spoiler:I'm thinking of kidnapping the dog

I feel like the arrow just kind of went somewhere else before it did any major damage. It is the Arrow of Regret, after all, and seems to cause regret for whoever fires it.
