Mugiri hid himself in shadows, and appeared before mastema. He stood with his right hand on his sword. "What should we do master?" He asked quietly. He looked around, and carefully readied for an attack at any moment

Kobei hurried throughout the forests of the grounds, pushing through areas that were cluttered with brush. She had to get her child as far away as she could from the corruption that would have been Eva.

Just as she cleared her path, a steady, but quick hand grabbed her by her hair, and yanked her backward. Kobei had dropped Eva, and dissapeared.

Eva fell to the ground, unknowing what had happened, but she knew for sure, that her mother was gone. She looked around, trembling, and started to cry out, uncontrolably.

Appearing from the shadows near Mastema, Draeken looked livid with anger and remorse at the same time. "You are against those that were trying to take the Dojo, right? Or are you here to gloat at the misfortunes of the BC?"

*Mastema partly leaned backwards with another cold little laugh* Draeken.... and I dared to think that you had fallen in battle. How naive of me. Why so cold old friend? I did return your wife to you in no worse a state than you left her. My word, I even was so generous as to give her a head start back to your home for you. *Mastema chuckled further, straightening out. He was talking as if he and D were friends and if he'd done Draeken a favor by shooting Phia out of a mass driver* As for my reason for being here..... a little of this and a little of that. *Mastema turned his head to the side and nodded to Mugiri* Well then, Mugiri, I suggest you familiarize yourself with this man. If you remain with me you shall no doubt see more of him.

Mugiri nodded at him, and returned his attention to Mastema "Well master, how may I earn your favor here? Are their deaths to be had at my hand?" He spoke in a respectful manner, odd of Mugiri.

::Tyrsais knew that some things had to be delt with now that the past was catching up with him. He stood still rubbing his temples slowly. It was a mix of anger and frustration over letting someone take his old friend, however that wouldn't stop him from checking to see whom the others were nearby. He would make his way toward them coming into sight slowly. He would clearly appear a bit pissed already::

Hmm...

Snorting at Mastema's attitude and mention of Phia's "safe" return, Draeken shook his head. "This and that, eh? What sort of this and that? If you are here to oppose Sairys and all them say so. If you're here to watch and laugh or even to join them, leave." He was obviously tired and in no mood for beating around the bush. He wanted to be returned to his normal state. He wanted to sleep. He wanted to spend some quality time with his family and not be interrupted by enemies coming from every direction at once.

*First, Mastema addressed Mugiri* Nay, I seldom think any considerable action will be necessary today. I believe our friends here are already on the eve of their loss. *Mastema chuckled and turned to face Draeken entirely* Sairys? Is that the name of the one responsible for this loss of a skirmish. My hats off to her fluid execution. I shall only oppose her if she gets in my way, of course. The rest is really just pyrotechnics from here, am I right? *Another wry chuckle and Mastema turned to face the direction of the dojo* I have no quarrel with you at the moment Draeken. There's no need for either of us to waste energy on one another. *Mastema, though he didn't know what D was desiring at the moment, did wish the same thing in terms of wanting to get work done without having to have hot shots come at him from every which way*

"I don think that she staged the skirmish involving Heritage and those bastards, but there was mention of her bringing an army. I don like that possibility. Odds are though, that if they over run this area, the next part of their agenda is probably your home as well." He sighed and looked at where the dojo had once stood. All that remained anymore was a crater. "I'll have to rebuild it again I supposed. But not until all these wise asses are cleaned out of here."

A gentle thrumming sound was the only hint that the shields of the unit had sprung to life. Impact would reveal it, but until then it seemed the metal insectoid drone was exactly that. Energy levels were average, for the weapons hadn't been brought online. The thing was just steadily marching along, happy to scour about. It was headed towards the crater of the Dojo, to confirm it's destruction and check for possible survivors. After all, KB was gracious, he'd done all he could to evict the inhabitants before trying to detroy the place.

"mm, yes sir." Mugiri said, and bowed a little. He turned, scouting th area when he saw Tyrsais. He walked into his full veiw, several feet away from him, his right hand on his sheath. His thumb propped the blade up an inch or two out of its sheath. The white shone in the light, reflecting it quite well. "Who are you?" Mugiri said in a mencacing voice. a wind was picking up slightly, tossing Mugiris hair lightly

Really now..... well then it seems someone has made us both into enemies. Someone certainly has a lot of nerve on his or her side. Oh do trust me when I say I have enough experiences with intruders to say I know their tricks. I hope to have a few surprises for them, but work is so slow these days. *Mastema smirked at the crater* Rebuild it you say? Why bother? You have your own mansion, much more grand than the dojo ever was, and even if you did rebuild, no one would really use it. The dojo you make will not be the one you knew; you know that. Move on Draeken: the black company died under its own nose. As for your intruders..... well then perhaps giving them some ruckus would not be uncalled for. *Mastema addressed Mugiri next, though not turning to him* Mugiri, do not worry with him..... that one is one of your new colleagues. You two should probably get used to each other.

Mugiri looked him over carefully, and returned his blade. With a huff, he continued scouting the grounds. He turned into a shadow, and got as close to the crater as he could, unsure of who would or could have survived. Though a shadow, It still looked like a silhouette of a man running along the ground.

Hearing the rumbling, Draeken growled, then shook his head. He was too tired at the moment to go starting fights. "Perhaps you are right. Heh. I never thought I would see the day where I abandon the thought of rebuilding the Dojo. This guild has become lazy. Everyone fighting amongst themselves. Perhaps it may even be time for some cleansing in which the both of us, as well as others maybe, will work together?" Shaking his head again he closed his eyes. "But those are things I wish to not think of right now. If you don mind, I'll be heading to my mansion for a bit. Going to have to fortify it against anything those wise asses may think to throw at it." With that, Draeken stepped back into the shadows, and disappeared.

The drone would march down into the crater, each of the four large legs carefully picking it's spot before moving. The unit was bulky in a sense, though that was more due to it's weaponry than anything. Coming down into the crater, the multiple lenses started looking about in various directions. Readings of the area seemed to indicate that the blast had levelled the structure, without leaving behind too much radiation or other deadly components. Amongst the charred earth the drone spotted a child.

It only took a few steps for the drone to reach the child, and loom over it protectively. The Audio, though limited, picked up the wailing of another creature nearby. A few moments of processing matched Kaiden's appearance to that of a boy in the drone's database. The age seemed a bit off, but otherwise the match was quite close. Clearly KB had been making notes on the children on the days he went to work. Either way, the drone was looking about for more survivors. The moving shadow had caught it's attention only briefly, for the drone assumed it to be another survivor.
