Letting the pistol drop from his grasp, the vampire leaned back a bit, his head pulled back away from the kick. Even as he did so, he reached up with both hands to try and catch D's foot. If successful, a quick snapping motion would turn D's foot to a right degree angle, certianly dislocating his foot or breaking his ankle. If that motion was done, the vampire would let go right away.
Even as it occurred, the two men from outside bounded to the backdoor. Forcing it open, the pair burst in from behind D. They began to circle around toward their leader slowly, fearing to fir any shots D might dodge that would hit their leader. They'd take their time.
Out in the forest however, Heritage felt a growing impatience. This plan had gone on too long. KB would have to hurry and have Sai move forces in, or Heritage would simply start slitting throats. Why allow the Dojo members life, when he could bring them death.

Draeken's foot was grabbed, but instead of breaking his ankle, it was only slightly twisted as he allowed his whole body to turn, bringing his left foot towards KB's head. While spinning he sent two daggers from his sleeves at the two newcomers, aiming for their throats, though he didnt have high hopes of hitting them. His aim was exceptional, but even with that, he was spinning at the moment and only had less than a second to take aim and release those daggers at the precise moment needed to hit the two newcomers.

One yelped as the knife caught his shoulder, the other merely flinched as the knife sailed past and out the open backdoorway. Growling, the uninjured man started forward, firing 3-shot bursts at Draeken from a wepaon that was the same as the assault rifle previously used. The one who had the knife in him was swearing as he reached to his belt to grab one of the grenades they carried. When the time was right, he'd use it.
The vampire however had been kicked by D. Stumbling backwards, he hissed at his foe. D was quite the annoyance, and it was no wonder that the Dojo was more or less ignored. It was hardly worth the trouble, but an objective was an objective. Wiping a trickle of blood away from the corner of his lip, he smiled and drew the two knives he had with him. He let each knife spin on his fingers in a mocking action of gunslingers, before the knifes came toa stop in his grip. He held each blade facing downwards from his fist, along his forearm as it were, instead of waving it in front of him like a little sword.

As Draeken continued to spin in mid air, his feet raising towards the ceiling because of his previous upwards motion, his left wing burst from his back to join his right in wrapping around him and creating a barrier around him as he was shot at. Within a second or two, he was on his feet again, the three bullets having slammed against his seemingly impenetrable wings. As soon as he landed, facing the one firing at him, the other two on either side of him, he knelt down and extended his wings outward very rapidly. Each of them were long enough to slam against the men on either side of him, the feathers that would come in contact with their bodies would seem like razors, while from the small of his back, Draeken produced two more daggers that he let fly at the man in front of himself. All the while he was grinning.

The vampire brought his blades across in front of him, using more of his arms to block Draekens wing than anything. The feathers tore into his flesh, causing fresh blood to spill onto the floorboards. Even so, as he was pushed back, he didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.
The other human however, had been nearly impaled. The wings jabbed deep into his lower-chest region, causing him to scream as his blood sloshed out. Still holding down the trigger as he gripped the wing, the rest of the clip would be unleashed upon D's wing in autofire that seemed nearly out of control.
The man in front of course saw his opening, for when D had spread his wings he'd tossed the HE grenade forward, low along the gound so that it'd bounce right at D's ankles. The explosion would be quite severe, and probably only the two vampires would survive it. Just as the grenade left his grasp, two more knives made thier mark within him. Stumbling back, with three knives sticking out, he could do nothing but gurgle up blood into his mask.

Draeken winced as his wing was fired upon at such a close range, but still it was only hurt a bit more than before. It bled a bit more than before as well, but would soon start healing within a few minutes. The grenade, however, presented an entirely different problem. He could survive the blast, no doubt, but he wouldnt survive it unscathed. The best he could do to dodge it, however, were to quickly kick it towards the other vampire before it would explode. Depending on how long the internal fuse was, it might turn into life or death game of hot potato.

Draeken would find the fuse had a very short time. Designed more to be tossed into a room and having the door shut. However, as if noting the folloy of the man, the vampire lunged forwards and tried to stab the two blades into D's wing with all his might. Should he be able to, he sought to bring the wing down to the ground, to block any attempt to kick the grenade at him.
The other man was still tightly grasping D's wing as it was inside him. This would keep D from lunging upwards. The most D could try and do was perhaps kick it right back at the man who threw it, but such an act would probably cause the granade to go off halfway between the two, at waist/head level.

Seeing his peril, Draeken did what he knew his attackers thought he wouldnt. He used all his strength to bring his wings around him to sheild the blast. In doing this he would either tear the blades free by force or bring both the men towards him, but keep them on the outside of his makeshift bombshelter, letting his wings as well as those attatched to it take the brunt of the blast.

The vampire's blades had tore free of D's wings, causing him to roll backwards. It was a bit sloppy however, as he came to a stop crouched on one knee. The other man however was helplessly drawn over with the wings, to the grenade. Though, as the explosion tore p the floorboards around D, more happaned. After all, though the man on D's wing had been turned almost instantly into boiling liquid, his ammunition and his own supply of grenades would also go off. Needless to say the man with the three knives in him also died, the force of the blast throwing him againast the wall to finish him off. At this point however, it was as if 3 grenades had gone off, not to mention the bullets that were exploding.
Perhaps the vampire with the blades wouldn't live through the blast. However if he was lucky Draeken's wings would take the major brunt of the blast, and the rest would ebb around him in a semi-circle of pure destruction.

The first grenade pushed Draeken back, the dead man's grenades remaining in the same place as the destroyed body which fell from Draeken's wing as he flew backwards still wrapped in his wings which were now charred and quite damaged. The other grenades would all go off where the body was left behind. (sorry, but this is a slacker post. transporter 2)

((No worries. I think I'll have this guy retreat, and send in the amry later with Sai or tegral or whoever. Watch the movie, it's good. ))
The vampire had been sent flailing by the blast, smashing through the front door and into the cool night air. Scrambling to his feet, he vanished into the shadows. The mission had failed, in a sense. Oh the paperwork that'd follow.

The spiders Died as D roasted them, but it was only a small fraction of the ammount that Sai had planted in the Dojo. They remained in the cracks weaving thier silk slowly covering the Dojo with the virus.
The only hint that Ohia can see that the spiders are in the room are by the light shimmer the walls would give off, to lure the inhabitants to touch and become infected.

Tegral, being the usual b*****d that he was, took great enjoyment from the little scuff occuring. He'd refused to become directly involved with it, but he was enjoying the idiocy in which Draeken explimented his supposed skills. The carnage and destruction brough upon the immediate area by these...could he call them hunters? Or soldiers perhaps?
Regardless it wasn't his concern. Pushing himself off the couch, tucked away in a far corner of the dojo, Tegral started out the back door. Maybe he'd pay this Sairys a little visit, after all he was pretty bored.

Groaning and shaking his head as he stood up slowly, several hours later, Draeken sighed. "Damn b*****d. Using a grenade like that. Hurt me more than I thought it would..." His wings were still healing and his face and arms were still red from quickly healing burns. He would be sore for a day or two, he knew that. That wasn't what mattered though.
After getting himself oriented, he sat down right where he was and began meditating, focusing most of his attention on the Dojo itself and the still dissapating tie that the mushroom had had with the building. Slowly and methodically Draeken worked on eradicating any sign of infestation or corruption due to the blasted fungi. It wasnt easy work, but he would be able to work it all out with time. Then would come the problem of all the spiders. Any that came within the common room were destroyed almost instantly by the same needle-like bolts. For the most part, the lower level of the Dojo was devoid of spiders. The damage caused by the grenade was already partially repaired, and part of his attention went into speeding those repairs. There was a long days work ahead of him. He was going to be tired after this.

Standing there in silence she clinced her fist, suddenly a large and sharp ammount of energy came of her body, shooting to every direction as she then turned around and walked off into the forest, growling deeply and feeling annoyed that she was ignored, making her remember why she rarely tryed to make contact with other beings.
