Well, FLCL is technically called, 'Furi Kuri' but since that would be pronounced as 'Furry Curry' they tried to make it more accurate and pronouncable by most of the english speaking population. Hence, Fooly Cooly.

Haha, funny story... We have a Japanese Lady interning in our Japanese class, right? Okay, so I turn to my friend and he wrote 'sexy duck' in Hiragana on his sheet and was waving it at me. I laughed, because I think he's sexy and he hates it.
ANYWAYS. So, he writes 'IIE!' on his sheet and I just burst out laughing, yelling 'HAI, HAI!' and then 'BAKA!' The lady intern looks at me and gives me this really wierd look, then says, "Where did you learn that?!"
I was like..."...er...I hear...it a lot...in anime?" She laughed and I felt really stupid...

My baba (Father) told the people at my favorite Chinese restaurant that I'm studying Chinese, so they keep trying to talk to me in Chinese and I keep forgetting all the words... sweatdrop whee

*LAUGH* Well, studying is very very VERY different from speaking. See, I can speak quite fluently and I can understand pretty much everything. Unfortunately, I can't read much or write much, either. *sigh*
