"That's a good suggestion. I was going to wait till later, but there's no reason I can't just go now." Mercury took her usual chair in the corner of the room, where she normally scribed any meetings between the Amyrlin and others.
A few moments passed, and then the Kepeer had closed the bond between herself and her Warders. No one else here knew the troubles Romvian had caused for her personally, and there was no reason they should find out. Then, the trained sleep began, and she entered Tel'ar'an'hoid. However, something was very wrong there.

Mairyela nodded towards the Keeper then headed out after her Warder. Taking a corner, she was just in time to see Skiiy jump out of a nearby window. Heart eaping into her throat, she dashed towards it just in time to watch Skiiy land solidly on the ground and walk away without a scratch. She had nearly forgotten all about his abilities with Air.
"Men!" she fussed. "They're all crazy! Tell them to jump, and they'll see how high they can get before they kill themselves! Jumping out of windows. Really!" Straightening her skirts, she began to make her way down to the main floor.
((*Pokes Skiiy* I wish I could jump from windows...))

(( eek Jump out of windows? *reads Mini's post* OHHH.... lol rofl ))
Mercury noticed the thick, white fog rolling around the Dream World, which did a good bit towards obscuring the ethereal light that had always been there. She'd never seen anything like this, and was very worried. But she found that she couldn't focus to make it vanish or anything of the sort; it moved on around her and past, everywhere in Tel'ar'an'hoid. Suddenly, there was sword at her neck; she tried to speak, but couldn't. It wasn't fear, but something else.
"I knew you all would come here eventually. Which is why I took measures. Don't bother speaking. I know you can't, because the Tel'da'shar is sapping you. But I know what you're trying to ask, so I'll tell you. Tel'da'shar is as ancient as Machin Shin, but was locked away. So for my purposes, I released it. I cannot control it; no one can. A strong Dreamer alone can simply lock it away, but no more.
Tel'da'shar is like a poison in the way it works. You cannot do anything without breathing, and the fog seeps into you as you breathe. It paralyzes you, clouds your very ability to gather air, and affects Wolfkin and Dreamers alike. The only thing a Dreamer can do is wake themselves up, and know they can never return to Tel'ar'an'hoid again. You are helpless unless you take the immunity drink, which you all have long since forgotten." Romvian said contemptuously.

(( eek OMG! Spooky!))
Mairyela reached the main floor after a while, and walked out into the gardens. Night was coming in fast, and she wanted to catch a few of her eyes and ears before they fell asleep for the night.
Passing a few Warders, no doubt on patrol due to Skiiy's orders, she gave them a brief nod before continuing onto the bridge. Crossing was fast, and with a 'hello' to the guard, she was in Tar Valon. She knew the route better than the Tower itself; after the bridge, walk two blocks to the north, then fifteen east. One left turn brought you onto a hard packed road, and a few buildings down lay the Lions Den. Walking in, the place was eerily quiet. The men from earlier had left, and the common room lay empty. Airene was no where to be seen. She hoped the innkeeer hadn't gone off to bed.
"Airene!" she called out softly. No answer, so she tried again. Suddenly a shuffle from behind the kitchens door announced the womans arrival.
"Well, funny seeing you here twice in one day." The lady said, her eyes bright and her smile wide. She was always smiling; sometimes it hurt just looking at her. How she could hold it for so long was beyond her.
"I wanted to know if there was anything else you've seen or heard lately. Anything at all."
The innkeeper looked at her sideways. "I get it that skinny fellow had something important to say if your here again badgering me."
"Not badgering; merely wondering."
"I'm sorry to say, he's the only thing out of the ordinary round here lately. Not even a rumor for you, hon. Sorry."
Mairyela nodded. It was a high hope thinking the woman had more for her. Giving the woman a thank you and goodbye, she stepped back out onto the streets, which had grown heavy with darkness and shadows. She sighed. "One day gone, and we have nothing but a madmans dying words."

Mercury knew that Romvian's words were true, because even as he spoke, she was having a hard time concentrating on his words and processing them. She started to feel lightheaded, but that was a stark contrast to the next effect of the fog. Her lungs felt cramped, like she couldn't breathe, and she started coughing violently from the lack of air. She didn't even have the strength to open the Warder bond and get help. She had to wake up.
With the loss of strength, her balance began to falter, and combined with the coughing, she rocked backwards. The violent back and forth rocking caused a rather unfortunate event which Romvian had not foreseen. With his sword at her back, she'd fallen into the blade. The weapon latched into her flesh, just past the side of her spine, not too deeply at first, but then with each sucessive cough and backwards falter, moving a little deeper. The Keeper fainted, her body unable to take the strain.
Romvian cursed, seeing his plans going down the drain. The woman had to live so that he could use her to control the Dream World when he took control of the Tower. But he couldn't pull his sword out since that would only cause further damage. However, it was beyond anyone in that foolish Tower to Heal her massive injuries now. He had no choice; she had to live. He blocked off her mind so that no one could find her, through Warder mind or Tel'ar'an'hoid.
Without another glance, he placed a hand her shoulder, and then woke himself up, taking the Keeper with him, from Tel'ar'an'hoid. He awoke in the Real World, and waited a few seconds. Then, suddenly, the Keeper's physical body was there as well. Perhaps this was a good thing. With the Keeper's physical self gone from the Tower and safely in his grasp, he could afford to be a bit more...relaxed on his plans. Until he chose to return her at least. But then again, it might also drive those Aes Sedai to greater lengths to find him, simply get Mercury back. This would be a fun game indeed. He put a rather large inverted weave on her, to sustain her in the state she was in. He'd have to Heal her bit by bit, or she'd never survive to be of any use.

((Lol. I'm serious, every one should have a body pillow!))
Mairyela walked throughout Tar Valon, trying the homes of a few of her eyes and ears, but to no avail. They were all in their beds at this hour. Not giving up, mainly because time would not allow it, she awlked onwards. After her fourth atempt, with still no luck and only one other person to go to, she decided to stop. There was no point bothering the man at this hour. It was getting late, and she was beginning to feel tired.
Looking behind her, the Tower stood above the buildings like a spear. Lights were still lit inside; no doubt novices practising, or a Brown huddled over a book. She then realized how far away it was, and that she was on the edge of town. If she didn't start back now, she might have to rent a room for the night.
She had barely taken a single step before a deep, dark howl ripped throught the air. She knew the sound all too well; a wolf's howl. But that's impossible! she thought, stumbling slightly in shock. No wolves come this close to the city! Something must be wrong. Maybe it was that fact, or the saddened tone the wolf had taken, but she ran towards the sound, ran with everything she had out of the city and into the night.

((Uh...man that came out of nowhere...so much action in so little time.))
Sanar and Ryelle watched in odd interest as Mercury's body vanished from the chair where she'd been sitting, living the room with one less person. With only themselves, Mercury's Warder, and the Amyrlin there, it seemed rather quiet.
"How odd. I wonder why she entered the dream world physically? She doesn't do that normally. Well, since she's currently gone, I would assume that she wants you-your name is Hawk, correct?-to protect the Amyrlin until she returns." Ryelle commented. "If we know Mercury, she's likely going to be gone a while, but she'll be alright. And knowing her again, I suggest that you do the higher thing of your Warder duties and protect the Mother; one does not need to know Mercury to know that she would be most displeased if anything happened to you, Mother, in her abscence."
She suggested; her words were true so far as she knew. Next to her, Sanar frowned at having to leave the Amyrlin's safety to a man, but if Mercury had trusted him enough to bond him, she supposed there was no harm in letting Hawk stand as Clarissa's Warder until Mercury came back.

((Ugh, I hate colds. Takes over every aspect of ones life... xp ))
The darkness outside the city would have been difficult for any normal human being, but for Mairyela, it was a walk in the park. Her eyes caught what little light there was coming from the moon, which had just begun to rise, and amplified it. It could have been day out for all she was concerned.
After what seemed like forever, she had to stop running. Panting softly, she walked towards the area the howl had come from. The meadow she was in was quite open; odd for a wolf to stand in such a vast space, but there he was. A silver furred beast, he radiated power and grace, his gold eyes shining in the night. Slowing, she came to a stop near the male, and bowed her head.
"I heard your cry, silver one." she said, kneeling in front of him. "Why do you risk yourself in the open?"
I risk nothing, a voice echoed in her mind. It is a matter of urgency that I called you. There is something horribly wrong. "What do you mean by wrong?" she didn't like the sounds of that.
It is the Unseen World...evil has tainted it. I fear it is Ma'Shadar. Mairyela nearly stopped breathing. "Ma'Shadar? Of Shadar Logoth? That's impossible! It can't travel between worlds."
...What is your wolf name?
"I am called Juniper."
Well, young Juniper, take a look for yourself. I will watch over you as you dream.
Mairyela nodded and layed down in the soft grass. Focusing her mind, she quickly fell into a deep sleep, hoping that the wolf was wrong.

((aw, why must she always do that... gonk ))
Hawk watch as his aes sedai went to the dream world. He felt that she once again closed the bond between them. He looked and raise an eyebrow at Mercs sleeping body. The two new sisters are there again, for some reason he dont feel ease when they are there. One moment Merc body was infront of him, within a blink of an eye, her whole body slowly vanished. He knew then that something terribly wrong have happened, but he cant do anything about it. Inside his mind, he want to bore a hole to the Tel'ar'an'hoid using saidin and start the search for Merc. His face doesnt show what he is thinking. He is inside the void, his face shows not much of expression. As much as he want to ease, he can not. His instincts told him that something have gone wrong. The woman spoke to him he realised, for he heared his name and they seem looking at him and waiting for his reply. As much as he want to do something about Mercs disapperance he cant do so. Hawk noded coldly at the woman who spoke at him, I will protect the Amyrlin he told her, his words came out a bit chilly due to the void.

"Good. Well, we will go attend to other matters. Excuse us Mother." They curtsied, unfazed by Hawk's tone. What did a man's opinion of them matter, anyhow? It wasn't as though anything he could say would prevent the twins from meeting Mercury in the future. They turned and left the offices, going back down to their rooms.
