Emolga barked out a warning for Magmar to turn and leave while it could, only to see its claws digging through the sand. He didn't bother waiting for a response as he released the electric energy surging within his body directly at Magmar. He held nothing back as he attacked, hoping to do the Pokemon in quickly.
Travel Time [1/10] Egg Time [10/50] Ai's Health [4/5]
The Magmar would cross his arms as he plug his tail into the sands. He knew ...all about insulation due to the different trainers that travel this land, and he was more than prepared for the little electric rat ....as he took the hit. He would close his eyes as he felt the power go though him, but, he had on plans of letting it slow him down in the least.
He would close his eyes ....as he let it pass through. He was going to let it flow out, and then ..then he was going to show them his claws.
Ai gave a low noise of disapproval at the weak power Emolga had thrown at the Magmar, and took a step back instinctively. He had not only himself to protect, but this egg. He wanted to laugh at his own action, thinking of his movement as more of a mother than a person who was going to potentially sell it off depending on its species. Instead, he kept his steeled eyes on the Magmar to be aware of whether he would need to move quickly or not to be out of harms way.
Emolga was oblivious to his Trainer's actions behind him as he prepared to defend himself as best he possibly could. Securing his place, he glared at the Magmar as if to dare him to do his best against the flying squirrel.
Travel Time [1/10] Egg Time [10/50] Ai's Health [4/5]
The Magmar would take a deep breathe as the Emolga would find that his best was very hot ....as the pokemon sent out a shower of embers at him. Hoping that just a flick of it would catch on unprotected fur and set him to flames ....as the pokemon's tail swung in it's efforts. It's entire body rigid as he gave it everything he had in that one attack.
His power ...his ability ...it was the burn everything way, and he wasn't going to do anything less now ...especially when he saw his opponent right in front of him.
Emolga took everything Magmar had for him, feeling little to nothing compared to what he had been through in the cold. There was a smirk on his little lips as he shook his body free of the left over embers still smoking on him. What would Magmar do now when his attack was so easily taken almost as though it were from a freshly hatched Pokemon rather than a fearsome fire type. Emolga sizzled and crackled with electricity as he launched forwards to get a better shot. As soon as he found himself close enough to get a nice hit, but far enough away to be clear of any instant retaliation, he released a Thundershock.
Travel Time [1/10] Egg Time [10/50] Ai's Health [4/5]
Yet, the Magmar wasn't one to let his opponent go so easily. He would literally start to race forward ...his body flaming even harder as he took the insult of his attack literally fizzling out to heart. He was going to make this pokemon burn ...burn and burn ..until there was nothing left as he rushes after him. His arms draw backwards as he got closer and closer to his opponent even as the electricity would crackle next to his head and into the sands around him.
There was no point in him letting his opponent hit ..by sitting still, and since, his aim was off ...now was the time to get his own attack in.
As the boat landed on the island Yukia jumped off and walked along the beach for a bit looking around. She could not quite tell where she was just yet since she did not look to see exactly where she was. Right at this moment she was more or so thinking what she had to do. Okay now I just need to catch one pokemon and find a chronostone
In the dim morning light the sea mists would clear, the sight which greeted the child upon the other side being the massive yawning maw of a cavern. The grinding of gears, flickering of electric lights, and a constant ticking sound would fill the air even outside, and one could only imagine way lay within.
Yukia looked at the yawning cavern entrance and shivered slightly. She did not mind the cavern she just didnt like the cool air. She walked slowly into the entrance and blinked her eyes getting used to the darkness. She smiled as she walked slowly down the cavern's path having a feeling that there would be fork in the path somewhere.
Rather than a fork in the road the child would instead find a rock in her path; but not just any ordinary stone, as if she could be so lucky! With gleaming gem like eyes and a ruff of fairy fluff, this stone hovered 3 feet off the ground, it's gaze filled with complete and utter outrage. ">YOU! HUMAN! HOW DARE YOU GET YOUR NASTY LITTLE HUMAN PRINTS ALL OVER MY LORDS CAVERN!<" The Carbink screeched in a high, noble tone of voice. Not that Yukia could understand a word, only other Pokemon could understand their language naturally. Still in his rage the Carbink didn't recall this, or didn't particularly care. ">This cavern and all within it belong to his eternal majesty the Fairy King!<" The Pokemon declared loudly, the stones jutting out of his body glowing briefly in response to his heightened emotions ">I'm feeling generous so I suggest you turn around and leave before I decided to get rightly rough on you!<" The Carbink stated with a huff. It would seem that this Pokemon was protecting this area, a Guardian of sorts, and he was clearly a step above other Pokemon to be found here!
Yukia nearly fell back when the Carbink started to scream at her. She didnt understand it at all but she thought this would be a good pokemon to catch for her goal. A Carbink was after all a good defensive pokemon. "Well lets see if I can get a good chance at catching it" She pulled out Chrome's pokeball and tossed it out.
Chrome appeared out and yawned as she landed with a heavy thud and looked around. She saw the Carbink and sighed. ">Another battle so soon after my rest<"

">Hmph. Humans, such ill-mannered creatures<" The Carbink humphed, if he had arms he would have crossed them sternly, as it were he would simply go on to state ">Very well. Have at you!<" Before charging forward. Despite his lack of limbs and a body composed largely of stone the Pokemon managed to move with a fair bit of speed, throwing his weight straight at the Shieldon before him in hopes of knocking it aside. He recognized a retainer when he saw one, and clearly this little speck need be taught a lesson alongside the master!
Yukia was a little surprised by the Carbink's speed but she recovered quickly. "Chrome I want you to dodge this attack as best you can" She called out to the Shieldon. She was going to let it make its choice in how it dodged. She bit her lip as she watched hoping the attack if it landed wouldnt be that bad.
Chrome sighed and waited for a few seconds as the Carbink came in close for a strike. It looked like a Tackle attack to her but she could be wrong. She waited then she stamped her hooves and instead of dodging she decided to let her steel body shrug off the attack.

(Ah, I did forget to call out a Tackle didn't I? Shame on me.)
(12 - 7) + (9 - 10) = 4 x 0.25 (Resistance) = 1
Chrome HP: 12/13
Rock would crash into steel as the Carbink collided with his opponent, his body bouncing back as if he'd run clean into a wall. Unlike her trainer, the Shieldon seemed to know how to put her natural defensive ability to good use! The Carbink on the however wasn't nearly so appreciative for the ability. His fairy fluff bristling, the crystals on his body flickered as his gaze filled with rage ">I say! Don't you have the common decency to just be pummeled and be on your way!?<" He barked, suddenly dropping to the ground and embedding himself partially in the floor ">This won't do at all!<" The Carbink said; he probably would have been scowling if he had a more expressive face.
Seeing how the attack seemed to have little effect on Chrome. Yukia realized she was being an idiot. Chrome had a Steel hide, hard and very defensible. She looked at the Carbink and could see it was getting angry which could either make it lose focus or give it more strenght. "Okay Chrome use Take Down!" She called out with gusto wanting to weaken the Carbink enough to be able to catch it.
The shieldon nodded as it was getting tired of the Carbink's voice. ">Ah but it shall be you who is pummeled my sweet lord<" She cried out and stomped her hooves and charged straight for the Carbink. Her head lowered as she charged she would try to cause as much damage as she possibly could without hurting herself much at all, but she knew she would hurt herself this attack was after all an all out charging tackle.

{I just have one question when does one throw a pokeball the attack roll or defense roll?}
