*Kaiori glares at the man 'helping'. Taking this time as a good break she quickly prepares for the next round. Taking a blade from her thigh strap she cuts off the handle of the blade stuck within her. With a quick and immensely painful shove, she stabs the blade through herself the rest of the way and out. The bloody blade falls to the ground as blood drips from both sides of her wound. It was a thin cut that hadn't impaled anything vital but she only had a short time on her feet. Checking her hip pack she pulls out a few pills, painkillers and something to stop the bleeding. The drugs had been supplied to her complements of her son's business. Unzipping her leather suit she rolls it down to the start of her chest wound and sets it there tightly, adding pressure to the wound. Able to move normally again, though slightly hindered, she checks the clips for her storms before following after the man with a shower of lead moving at great speeds.*

Hama: *Hama didn't feel like wasting his energy on uncertain hits, so he would remain more calm than Kaiori seemed to be. His movements would be stealthy as he tried to follow Kai, albeit a longer distance from the attacker. He would wait for another chance to strike and hopefully eliminate the unarmored man. In the back of his head, he was glad that Kai didn't have a chance to get too good a look at him*

"Once again, I am blessed with the pleasure of seeing you in action. Fighting the way you should be, with such passion." KB's raspy distant voice would attempt to chime in Kaiori's head. Not that he'd be trying to press any influence on her. Oh no, just the joys of conversation.

Meanwhile of course the man had ran to the first fallen body. Along the way, he'd only been unfortunate enough to be caught by two of Kai's shots. More than enough to put down any man, but he seemed to keep moving. Indeed, it seemed he grinned as he spun about, the weapon of the fallen soldier in hand. Raising the rifle with just one arm, his left arm, he let out a spread of full fire on Hama. At this point the man they were fighting was far enough under the overhang to be free of Kaiori's fire, lest she drop down to the ground or simply lean over the roof's edge. Even so, as the energy of the weapon flared, he was backstepping towards the second fallen body. His accuracy even in such a state however wasn't to be trifled with, leaving Hama with few options to consider.

The other two men had huffed strongly into their masks, glancing back and forth to each other and the back door. They couldn't risk entry given the current state of things, not when the inside of the dojo was much more deadly than outside. Instead, they moved away from the wall a bit. One held his hands together, the other stepped onto his partners hands. Then, with a feat that clearly went beyond that of a normal human, the one beneath heaved upwards, sending his partner up onto the roof. Not much, hardly anything in comparison to the abilities of flight that seemed common, but still quite a bit for two heavily weighed down men. Even as the man came atop the roof with a thud, he'd thrown an HE grenade forward at a tiny bit of an arc, aiming to bring the weapon down near where he figured Kai to be. Even if it missed her, it should at least give the Dojo a new skylight.

Four souls lingered about for a few moments, unclear as to what was to be done. Being in service to KB slightly blurred the standard reaction to death. Though, the four hadn't time to contemplate it. They were of course helplessly taken by the man in the woods. What would become of them was up to that man, either way, it didn't seem KB was in any rush to save them. Indeed, KB woul be to them a fickle god, raising his hand only at critical moments.

*There was no obvious reaction to his voice this time around. No flash of anger, happiness of seeing an old friend or flash of anything in her eyes. She wasn't 'snapping' out of her 'mood' as 'usual', because that wasn't usual for her. She had never been soft before, and she wasn't going back. She had been in perfect condition when she had first come to the dojo and it had left her battered and half sane. Catching the grenade kaiori clicks her watch with a devilish smirk. A familiar hum fills the air and with a bright flash and a bit of smoke she vanishes with the explosive device.* ((Sorry but I'm leaving for a bit so wouldn't want you stuck in action now would we xd heart buh bye))

((See ya Kai))

Hama: *Seeing the flash of light before knowing what happened, Hama first thought that Kai had been vaporized in the effects of some strange explosive weapon, but he soon figured it was just the effect of the watch.... he'd noted similar things on Bell*..... It's her all right..... *Hama didn't feel like getting into battle with this man if he was on the retreat. Hama started towards the dojo, but he didn't lose track of what was happening around him*

Derrek had heard some pretty weird stories in his time, but this one had to take the cake for the most bizzare. The fact that they were all related didn't really help either. That would make dividing them all the more difficult. However, with examination and time, it might be possible to separate them. He had a few more questions however.

"This Truinthil is malicious, then? Wouldn't it be dangerous to try and remove him and give him his freedom back? If you want, I could try to set up some sort of binding on him as he escapes so we could ensure that he doesn't do anything...reckless."

Draeken thought about it for a moment, but shrugged. "No. He hasnt been much of a bother lately, and I think that he has been coming to be considerably nicer. If he is still malicious, he can be taken care of. Take him from me and let him be free. Odds are he will be too tired to even attempt anything shortly after the division anyway. I remember being exhausted to near death after the merging. I can imagine what it will feel like being seperated."

As Ka'rinth pulled in the four souls he closed his soul void and simply watched the fight. Despite his relatively advanced knowledge of science and genetics, actual weapons were not well known to him. He watched the weapons fire and noted the effects, in his mind he was rapidly considering defenses against such weapons. Ultimately though, he did not come up with any conclusive defense other than don't get hit and if you do don't get hit anywhere vital. He shrugged slightly as he considered the unmasked man's speed, Now that would be a useful skill to develop, however I will stick with my training and allow the other's to work that angle.

The man atop the roof noted that the damage to the building was much less severe than expected. With much caution, he slowly stepped forwards, glancing about the rooftop. It seemed all traces of the girl were gone, and that the weapon hadn't had much effect. The group had no idea what device or ability might be behind such a feat, and so they were a bit wary. A few uneventful moments however registed that things were indeed at least calm. Shrugging, the man on the roof held his position. No need to be entering the building, no need to be hopping down off the roof either.

With utter annoyance, the unmasked man had retrieved the weapons of the fallen soldiers. Two rifles, two pistols, and two knives. Not to mention the hefty bundle of grenades. Stripping them of the armor would be useless, given the large holes that had been punched through by the sniper rounds to the most vital of places. Also, their food and water wasn't of much use to him. Glaring at the sky, he grumbled and made his way to the back door. He couldn't very well be sitting around outside catching a sunburn. "I'm taking a ... nap." He growled to the man on the ground, as he forced the back door of the Dojo open.

He glanced around for only a moment, not really caring about who was inside. He was moving straight towards the training room, casually watching the inhabitants. He'd just entered the home of pretty much every overly-powerful target on his list, but it beat being consumed by the force that would undoubtly rise outside.

The man on the gound shrugged. "Sounds like a plan." He said cheerfully, as he wandered over to a tree and leaned his back onto it. He then slid down into a sitting position at it's base, his head still upright. Given the mask he wore, it'd be hard to tell if he was awake...aside from the snoring that soon broke out. Laying with the rifle across his chest, he slept.

The glow of Ka'rinth's eyes began to emerge as people began to disperse, his main focus was now on the two men still outside. He was watching to see what the man on the roof would do before making his move. If the other man departed then Ka'rinth would decide whether or not to attempt to assassinate the man sleeping beneath the tree. He was curious about these soldier's equipment and while he had no interest in using a gun, he was interested in studying both weapons and armors. A gun, the word dripped with disgust even as an abstract thought in the dark mind of Ka'rinth, such an impersonal weapon was distasteful to him. He preferred the suffering and joy he found in torture, disease, and hand to hand fighting.

Derrek shrugged. Letting Truinthil free or binding him afterwords, it didn't change the core task at hand. He was just trying to think of some precaution should it be needed.

"Alright then. Give me a day or two to study the new orb and to contemplate how to do this safely and I ought to be able to do this unbinding for you."

Phia walked outside to the two men, sauntering up behind Draeken she wrapped her arms around his waist, and looked to Derrek. "'ello...Ye must be new 'round 'ere... er been 'ere for a while..." She shrugged, she had a heavy Irish accent when she spoke, making it hard to understand. "I've been dead for half the year so I wouldn't know. Anyway...I'm Phia Aakarshan...I 'ope ye dun mind...but I'm gonna steal my 'usband fer a while now...It's been a bit since I've gotten to chat with 'im...among other things...." She smirked and winked at Derrek before pulling D inside and to their room.

Once inside she kissed passionately and nuzzled into his neck, nipping at it and breathing her words soft against his skin. "I've miss'd ye so much...I'm sorry fer leav'n ye Love...so sorry..."

running at full speed upon its four limbs, all was heard was the air being cut by the wind and the speed of the creature, as it made its way towards the Dojo. Skimming by any of those who were outside the dojo, it leaped dugging its claws into the side of the building with a loud thud. the creature was perhaps traveling at 80 mph. it clawed its way up the side of the building. A slime trail left beind from its jawless face and sunken eye sockets to where eyes are suppose to be. The stench of rotting flesh lingered around the beast, as the flesh was being melted away. The beast stopped near the top of the dojo, as it glanced around for any others. The beasted shook itself like a dog and small black particles barely seen in the night fell of of the beats and landing on the dojo.

The particles were tiny poisonious spiders that carried a diease created by Sai. As teh beast shook thousands of these spiders fell upon the dojo. appearing like normal spiders unless the ET letters embedding on their tiny underbelly can be seen. the spiders crawled their way into the small cracks of the dojo. it would be a matter of time before the Spiders can be seen as they are already placed into action. They would crawl around the dojo as their mission is to bite the host once to inject the venom.

The beast soon stopped shaking as it growled deeply at the spiders and leaped off the the building. Landing creating a small crater on its spot and dashed off back to Sai's tower.

Draeken blinked in surprise as Phia wrapped her arms around him, then grinned. "Take as long as you like Derrek. I seem to have business to attend to." He laughed and turned to face Phia. "Talk eh? Well then lets get to it!" He allowed himself to be taken inside and to the room he shared with Phia and revelled in the kiss. It nearly left him breathless. "It's alright. You're back now and that's what matters most, Love. You're back and I love you just as much as I ever did."

Throughtout the night, The spiders crawling their way through the Dojo, found little nic nacks, and cracks to find little homes in. they immediately went to work on spinnning silk into the cracks. the silk ran its way into the foundations of ths dojo, like a infectious diease, contamenating the dojo with its poison. All it takes is a simple touch to the walls of the dojo to get infected.

The diease wont be noticed until it hits the blood stream in a few days, causing massive chest pains, and uncontrolable trembling as the body temperature drops, slowly slowing the heart rate until you fall into a deep sleep. Then the next day you'll be perfectly fine, with made eggs under the skin of your left forearm. it will look like you have the measles.

A Broken Husk

PostPosted: Thu Jan 26, 2006 9:49 am

Tegral's metalic figure emerged from the forest line, carring over his shoulder what looked like a giant chest. Under his other arm was tucked a long, slender, tube shaped device. Both items had been recovered from the wreckage of KB's tunnel. The entire place had been burried, and Tegral's 'room' and equipment would have been destroyed if he hadn't enforced the inner walls with steel alloy and support beams. It had taken a bit of time to burrow to the walls and slice his way through the twisted metal, but he had done it, and he was rewarded with what he needed. Now he just needed a place to set up shop. The dojo would do nicely, he figured, as he entered the dojo at a carefree pace.

Oh an odd sight indeed, for Tegral to be lugging around massive peices of equipment, up until now very few people had actually seen the devices he liked to play with. Grumbling over KB's death, angry that he hadn't been the one to squeeze the trigger that ended the wretched little fool's life, Tegral accended the stairs towards a vacant room where he dumped his equipment off and placed a status lock on them, imprinting his unique code on each terminal.
