Draeken Aakarshan

((Well since this has already been quite drawn out and Mas seems to be too lazy to conclude his little "shoot Phia in a ballistic missle type contanier at the dojo" bit himself, I'm going to have to do it. So, just to be a lazy a** myself, here's a slacker post. Sorta.))

Pacing in front of the dojo, Draeken continued his grumblings over when Phia would arrive. Continuously there were mutterings of killing Mastema if she wasnt returned as he said she would be. After several minutes, however, a faint noise from the sky caught his ear and he looked up into the sky in the general direction of the Citadel. He did not have to wait to know. Within seconds he was in the air on an intercept course, already weaving a net of energy and magic to catch the container that Mastema had put Phia in.

In all, it would be over in just over a minute. Draeken, moving through the air, would change directions as the container passed him and fly downwards alongside it, casting the net of energy and magic in front of the thing and pulling back so as to slow its descent. Soon afterwards the container made a neat, if not perfect landing, the net disappearing as Draeken landed beside it and began puzzling out how to open it.

Ayiana blinked and flew to the ground as she saw it land then circled it a few times and wrapped on it with her knuckles. "Hmmm..." She wracked her brain for anything. "Lessee...ummm...Ah!" She found the manual controls on the side. Then looking to D she spoke. "Her soul still on ya?" The soul would still be on Draeken's ring finger. As soon as he replied, Ayiana walked over to him, and took his hand, slipping the soul from his finger as if it were a ring in its'self She moved towards the continer and held it to the glass, saying something in Hylden. She then messed around with the controls to open the continer.

Draeken's mind of course was very receptive to telepathy and when Phia's memories hit him, he nearly fell backwards, hands to his head. As the final memory came to him, he began to cry and forced himself to hold onto that memory for as long as possible. Forced himself to feel that pain for as long as possible before he had no choice but to let it fade.

On his knee's now, he looked up at the container, at Phia. His eyes were full of tears, but also hope and strained happiness. "Phia?"

Still standing, still ready to shoot again if the armour moved, Aure waited patiently. But it never moved another inch. Whatever was inside it hadn't felt anything happen. Perplexed at the strange behaviours of this thing, he put down his gun. Walking to the kitchen for a bite to eat before sleep, he never took his eyes off it.
----
Lying on his bed, he tried to take his mind off the things that had happened last night... in his mind. Tossing and turning, he eventually fell asleep. Though peace didn't come to join him...

Draeken tried to say something, but only an awkward sound came out as he wrapped his arms around Phia. He buried his lips and nose into her hair at the top of her head and simply didnt want to let go of her. "...You're finaly...I've missed you so much...I hope you can forgive me...for what I did." He seemed to have forgotten that he didnt quite look the same as he usually did, given the fact that Truinthil and Old D were a close part of him now.

Phia smiled softly. She nodded "It wasn't ye...I know tha' I dun blame ye fer wha' 'append. I've miss'd ye too Love..." She took his coat from his shoulders and wrapped it around herself, then studied him for a moment, running her fingers through his hair. "Ye looked so different..." She looked to Ayiana. "An' ye...ye ar' very different."

.:: Ayiana shuffled awkwardly. She looked up. "It's me...Aria... Just fused with Aethi. I quit smoking too... But...like this...I'm Ayiana..." She said quietly, she was chewing on her lip holding back. ::.

Phia smirked at the name. "Ayiana... my middle name..." Slowly things were clicking with Phia. "Wait? You quit!?" She grinned wildly. "Tha's great!!" Phia stepped towards Ayiana and grabbed her into a hug.

.:: It was at this point that Ayiana broke down and buried her head into Phia's shoulder. "Mommy! I've missed ye so much!" ::.

Phia stroked Ayiana's hair and smiled. "Shhh...I'm sorry fer leavin' ye love...I'm so sorry..." She kissed the top of Ayiana's head then looked to D. "I'm sorry" She mouthed to him. Why would be a mystery to him.

"How lovely." Said Tegral in a tight, uncaring, and indifferent tone of voice. The burn marks from Draeken's retarded attack still scortched Tegral's clothes and flesh, though he didn't seem to bothered with either of them. "Finally got back your women?" He asked again as he started to walk past Phia, that b*****d Draeken, and their little b***h of a daughter. "Do yourself a favor, Draeken." The plasmic flames around his arms died down into a soft glow as he closed the carbon-titanium shutter unit that encased his entire right arm, though despite this a good amount of radiated energy still managed to seep through the device, "Keep her on a short leash, or she won't get away next time." With nothing further to say to the idiot, after all what more could you say to a man you were going to kill, Tegral started towards the forest.

KB's cave was completely burried, destroyed in some way or another, but Tegral still needed some machinery from there. He was going to have to go digging for a few days. Programming systems, plasma repair insturments. He also had a proto-type energy cannon that he installed on the woman he might be able to salvage from the heap. Not her's, mind you, that dumb broad got her entire body destroyed, but from the lab.

Often things come to those whom wait however it seemed for Relinth his patient silence was not going to pay off. He was growing restless of waiting for someone to appear. He pushed off the wall and walked toward the middle of the room. He figured asking a few questions couldn't hurt to much.

"Have any of you seen a Vampire around here by the name of Tyrsais Himura?"

The newest trainee walked in, Masamune in hand, ready for anything. He looked around, observing, and absorbing his enviroment. "I am seeking someone to teach me the arts of the black company, a trainer and sparring partner. Is anyone willing to take me in?"

"The reason I look different is because while I was on my little rampage, I managed to merge myself with Truinthil and Old D. No good came of that for a while I will admit. I hope to be back to normal soon." When Phia began commenting on Ayiana, Draeken grinned. "I helped those two with that. I think it was Aethi's idea actually. A smart girl she is."

Phia's mouthing of 'I'm sorry' truly did baffle him, though. He was the one that was supposed to be sorry. What reason did she have to be sorry? He blinked confusedly and tilted his head.

Ayiana: She nodded "Me too...I'd like to be two seperate people also...as fun as this is."

Phia nodded as he spoke to her. She let go of Aria and walked towards D, taking his hand in hers. She led him inside the dojo and left him standing in the mainroom while she walked upstairs and changed into clothing. When she returned she was wearing a long dress in a pale gold. She smiled at him. " 'Ave I really been dead tha' long? There's Dust everywhere In tha' room!" She spoke with a smile as she headed for the kitchen, Xol's nanites had taken the alcohol from her system and it was driving her nuts. She immediatly found a bottle of bloodwyne and poured herself and D a glass then walked out and handed it to him.

On the upper floor of the Dojo, a figure stirred. The figure yawned and glancing at the window and the position of the sun, muttered that it was probably time to wake up. The man sat up and began putting on his normal clothes. Though he had not been seen around the Dojo for qite a while, Derrek Zahron was still in residence here. Without the Academy, this was really the one place that he had to stay. He had spent days studying the orb given to him by Draeken and had learned many of its secrets, though by no means all of them. Now he was able to see the Binding Strands, as he called the subtle forces that held reality in place, without touching the Orb. Before being given the orb, his binding had been limited to very mundane affairs. He could have sealed a door to the frame to prevent entry or strengthened the integrity of an object by forcing it to stay bound together. Now, however, his magic had raised itself to a new type of binding. The more metaphysical, mental bindings. This included spheres of magics such as mystic seals, putting someone under a gaes, or some modification and manipulation of natural laws (which were themselves binding forces).

Derrek left his room for the first time in a while, making his way outside of the Dojo to get some exercize. Once he emerged, he saw before him a figure who'd been absent for quite a while. Draeken, the one who'd given him the orb. He'd also mentioned something about there being a sister orb. Derrek made his way towards the group, waving to Draeken as he walked.

The rifle had been effective, though not in the way that one might hope. Some dirt did spray from the visor, and the dull thud of the bullet hitting the back of the helmet. Regardless, the thing had remained still. Not the slightest movement, even as the regenerating dojo acted as a vice on the vines. Whatever the thing was, it seemed to be very comfortable.

Phia's little mindfest had been knocked aside casually. Though it was true that KB didn't have a physical form with which to amplify key abilities, being free of a body opened him to an entirely new array of powers. Sadly, most of the things he had been doing would never been realised by mere eyes or other senses. This was not to say he was untouchable, but rather lacked any form with which most of the nearby occupants could interact. Thankfully, KB was sure to have his puppets on their string. If anything the most disturbing detail recently uncovered was Tegral's desire to dig.

Regardless, it seemed nearly certain that there were people on their way. Something anyone that had ever been close to KB would feel, the movement of his will. As if for a fleeting moment in the distance he was there, only to be gone. No child cultists this time, only adult assassins for Phia and her family.
