I'm such a horrible, horrible liar. Getting online is easier than I thought it would be. I guess I won't be gone so long... you can all commence the festivities and celebrations now. *waits* ... Well?( Vetch rocks! *gets pelted with "you're a shameless promoter" stones, goes down fighting* MY NEW LUFFIE IS MATTE (he just doesn't know it yet. And yes, he has a girlfriend. *sigh*).)

I just watched Read Or Die. SO GOOD. But the ending was all pseudo-happy-but-really-just-sad, as is common in Japanese stuff. That annoys me. It's nice to have a REAL happy ending every once in a while.
Cowboy Bebop's ending is the same way, as is FLCL's. Now that I think about it, the only really good Japanese product that I can think of off the top of my head and that had a definitively happy ending is Final Fantasy 9, but everyone hated that because it was too "different" (read: Didn't come out with an official strategy guide + game package)

Read or die? Which one? In my anime club, I showed the "TV" version. o.o It was pretty good. ^^ Even my stubborn members liked it~ha hah.
But if you're looking for good anime, look at the classics that will never die. The eternals. Grave of Fireflies, Princess Mononoke, Totoro, basically Miyasaki and Ghibli stuff...although avoid the Ghibli made racoon one. o.o; It's rather obscene.

I recently picked up the Evangelion box set for 90 dollars.
That was a poor decision.

In all seriousness though, I enjoy the plot of the series, but the character design makes me retch.

Giant humanoid robots are so impractical. The only instance in which you could really justify the creation of a humanoid robot is Macross because they're using the giant humanoid robots to fight giant humanoid aliens, but then it turns out that CULTURE is a better weapon. Woof.

Greeting and salutations all ^^
We don't have an anime club at our school 0.o Though we would have enough people to start one... I'm just not sure how to go about doing that...
Anyways.. I suggest the Noir Anime series for anyone that likes Assassination and such with quite a bit of mystery involved... Myess... people that are good at killing and know nothing about their past *thumbs up*

I just finished reading books 1-12 of Love Hina. I'm rather glad that it took a turn from the incessant repetition of "Keitaro Falling + Unfortuitously Positioned Busty Girls = Decreasingly Plausible Accidental Gropings/Pantypeeks," but when I got to the end of book 12 (the last one my roomate has) and it started talking about book 13, I was disappointed. Book 12 is where the end of that story should be.
It's, like, 5:30 where I am, so I think that I've officially pulled an all-nighter. Maybe I'll watch Grand Teacher Onizuka or something, but that one looks kinda weird. I'm all for punk rock, but the cover of the dvd case gives me the impression that the actual anime is too a*****e-punk for me. Whatever. I could just HOLY s**t STAR FOX ASSAULT IS RELEASED ON MONDAY SUODHAIDYUHFIAUSDHAOSFHOAISDHFOASJ *convulses*

GTO is an awesome one. One of the BEST unknown anime's out there is BPS! I forget what it stands for, though... Something...programmer...something...XD
Read or Die was an awesome one.
By the way...
animecrave.com has free dubbed episodes of D. N. Angel and lots of other movies and shows that you can watch on the net ^^ Free, too, though they really need the donations. Go check it out!

...Too.....much....Eva.
Good thing I finished it. Also good that it is a snow day today. The roads are like a giant frictionless sheet of ice ^_^ My mom nearly killed herself pulling out of the driveway today.....So close. Ah well, the day couldn't be perfect I guess.
Anyway, Fruits Basket is also teh awesome in regards to anime, just because. Also, on Amazon, when looking for the FLCL DVD, they call it "Fooly Cooly". How ridiculous.

Elcryss My college success is becuase I'm parinoid and I hate people, especually stupid people and drunk people are stupid there for partying is out of the question. I don't stay up late and I go to class... oh look a 4.0. Yay. Dealing with drunk and stupid people is easy if you follow just a few easy steps! 1. Grab a cat. 2. Make sure that cat has sharp claws. 3. Thrust the snarling cat into the drunk/idiot/drunk idiot's face. 4. Laugh.
