One crisis was avoided as they would head back towards the beach. Each movement would take them further and further away from where they had found those groove of trees as Ai would step hard upon something that normally would have been soft with the snow on the ground. Eyes would peer upwards at him as two arms would reach up to grab his leg.
Running away might be the plan, but there was no proof it would work every time as the pokemon open it's mouth wide ....if the boy didn't shake this pokemon off it was literally going to take a bite out of his foot.
As soon as his leg was touched, he jerked sharply in order to remove himself from the trap. He was never a fan of being grabbed out of nowhere. The Jynx before had re-solidified that dislike within him. If his move succeeded, he would proceed to flee the area and escape further away from the Geodude. If not, he'd have a hard time walking with a giant ball of rock attached to his ankle.

Though it wasn't only the fact that he would have a ball attached to his leg. The Geodude was looking to cause an injury as well with teeth that were set in a head of stone literally .....there was a good chance that he would cause more than a bit of pain.
He was going to try and bring this run to an end. This was the danger of the pokemon's attack.
Though a slip would happen. The Geodude would lose his grip and slide free as Ai would be given that chance to escape ...all the way around.
With his leg free, the boy took the chance and bolted around the Pokemon and off towards his destination. There was way too many Pokemon on this darn island! How could anyone walk two feet without bumping into another? Was it too much to ask for a quiet and simple walk without being mauled? Didn't the school have some sort of evacuation method for students when they got into tight spots? Ai would be sure and bring this up with that woman teacher whose name he had already forgotten whenever he saw her next. If he saw her at all.

It would seem that running into pokemon was his specialty as the entire area around him would rumble this time. The act of throwing off the geodude had sent the pokemon into the body of something a hundred times bigger....the small round pokemon would roll free of the Onix as the pokemon would turn it's head backwards to look at them both. It's coils rising out of the snow to encircle him ...as the Onix would look at Ai with eyes that spoke of anger.
It was ready to fight and it was ready to fight now.
Ai cursed loudly as Onix appeared before him. He was seriously getting to the point where he would rather fist fight the damn thing rather than run. But still, there was little he could do about it for now. Turning quickly, he started to take off before remembering he had a single Pokeball left. He had planned on saving it for a Fire or Water Type Pokemon but for now, it seemed pointless. There was always the chance that he could capture the Onix and sell it once it was useless to him, much like he planned to do with the Vanillite. But, the issue would be whether or not he could capture it. The only thing his Emolga knew how to use was an Electric Type move, and you'd have to be stupid in order to think it would work against something made of rock. No, for now his best bet was fleeing. He continued to bolt onwards, trying to get as far away as possible.

The Onix would roar loudly as it raised it's head and would strike the area around it with it's coils ....as it's entire body would rock from one side to another. It's was the sound of a creature that wouldn't be denial it's battle as it shot forward with it's head down as it sought to bind the boy ...to stop his movements and force the battle no matter what he wanted.
This was the power of a Onix in full rage mode ....as it struck.
How he actually managed to get away, he wasn't too sure. All the Pokemon he was trying to escape from just seemed to be intent on having his pretty little head. Was there some sort of signal out to every Pokemon on the island about him or something? Well, it didn't matter much now. If he could just keep his head low for a while longer he'd be home free! Looking around, he spotted his footprints from before and began to follow them back towards the desert area from before. At least he knew he was going in the correct direction now.

The teal-haired pre-teen boy kept his shimmering blue eyes on the ground so he wouldn't lose his way. So far, he'd been successful at avoiding other Pokemon, and stopped to look up at the sky. It was going to get dark soon, and he wasn't sure how much farther he could go without light. Without a Fire Type Pokemon to light his way, he figured he might have to bed down for the night if things got too bad. Though if he did that, there was always a chance his trail could disappear from the wind or the light flurry that had been going on for a while now.

The flurries were becoming lighter and lighter as he continued towards the outer ring of the island. From what he remembered, he shouldn't be too far from the desert. He began to wonder what he should do when he reached the safety of his small home. Perhaps a shower first. With all the running he had been doing he was feeling gritty and disgusting. The last thing he wanted was to appear at less-than-presentable in front of his teachers or other students.

Looking down the front of his jacket and making sure the egg he had pressed against his abdomen was secure and warm, he went back to his walking. The snow was scarce as the temperature was beginning to rise to a somewhat normal degree. Getting out of that freezing weather was going to feel so good. Soon enough he'd be able to remove the jacket from him and just wrap the egg up nicely, but not just yet.

The snow had completely stopped falling and he had reached the edge of the mountain's slope, the path ahead of him clear and flat. He sighed out of exhaustion and relief as he realized he was halfway there. With just a while to go, he'd be home and in bed, able to forget this horrid first adventure for him as a trainer. Hopefully whatever other things they wanted him to do would be less tiring and time consuming.

The pokemon would stand in the cross between Ai and the burning sands as it's eyes would narrow. It had felt his presences the first time, but he had been too far away to do anything about it. But now, now was much different as he would scream out his anger at the fact that anyone ...especially one of his ink had been allowed to travel his lands un-oppose before.
The Magmar would stand there with his arms cross, and a deep and powerful flame curling in his maw. He wasn't about to move, he wasn't about to let them through as he lock his arms as his tail swish. With this pokemon in the way, there was only one choice ...either fight or turn back around and head back into the snow.
Because, the Magmar wasn't going anywhere. IN fact, he was going to protect the edge of this burning sands with his life ...and he had nothing but time on his hands as he smiles at them both.
"Mag ...marrrrrrrr."

Ai stopped abruptly, staring at the fiery Pokemon in his way. It didn't seem to like the fact he was there. Well, Ai was already ticked off enough about the entire island. Gripping a ball on his hip and releasing the Pokemon within it, Ai called out with his voice filled with serious irritation. "Alright, I'm done with this, kick his butt so we can get out of here!" Emolga's fur ruffled in excitement as he prepped for a real fight he wouldn't get into trouble for.

(Yes, it does, until you get into the actual fight...like now.)
THe Magmar would laugh at that thought as he brought his arms up .....as he would stand as one would expect a creature of the fighter type to stand. The fire type would actually smirk ...as he thought how easily he was going to win this battle.
His tail swishing back and forth behind him.
HIs claws making marks in the sand as he glares dangerously at the incoming opponent.
