xX Shadow Void NightwalkerXx  " Look, I dont need protection and......WATCH OUT!!!", Shadow was about to argue and make her turn away, but he saw the Colossal beast's hammer swinging down toward them at the corner of his eye. He quickly leaps grabbing hold of Rin to get her out of the way of the impact. Surprisingly, the impacts creates an earth shaking shock wave and it blows them both away like leaves. The radius of the quake reached all the way to the school grounds. Shadow grabs firm hold of Rin and wraps his body around her to use himself as a shield for the impacts of the debris flying passed them. Maneuvering just right, he took every blow for her when crashed through a few tres and crashes into the dirt. " Well that sucked....", Shadow said coughing up dust and covered in scraps and bruises. He slowly gets off Rin and offers his hand. " You okay?", he asked. But before he could have a chance to make sure Rin was alright, the Valus swung its hammer down at them again. With little time to react, Shadow draws out Dragon Claw and Miraculously block the impact of the massive weapon. It appears one of Dragon Fang's abilities is to endure devastating blows like a shield. Shadow pushes back with all his might and Valus was left wide open for Rin to strike. xXShadow Void NightwalkerXx

Rin crossed her arms."Since when do I achy read text books.I may seem like a shy book worm but I'm not really anything like that you know."she sighed.then she sighed."And I wanted to make Shure u dident get hurt so I just followed u...I alwas do that."she said and took out her fans agen.she really wanted to use her umbrella, her gratest Welkom but that would just give her away."Now let ke help you kill this thing!" she said trying to make him put her down.

 Orochi smiled as she started reading the different myths to him. For some reason they all seemed familiar though he was sure he had never heard them before. As he began to drift off to sleep Patchouli suddenly reached the story of susanoo and the 8 headed serpent. That story seemed to be more familiar than the others, and as she told it he started to toss and turn in his sleep.

 "Shadow! I-" then befor she could thank him the thing atacked agen."Stop hurting him!!!" rin yelled and ran at it.she instentivly took out her umbrella and swung it at the giant beast.it hit the ground and she staved at it like the umbrella was a sword.she slashed at it making some blood spatter around the ground and on her umbrella.when ever it tried to get up she would stab it.slowly she turned back into Haru. Haru jumped back from it her green pigtails blowing in the wind."Never hurt him!" she glared at the beast waiting for another atack.

xX Shadow Void NightwalkerXx Valus studded back away when Rin changes back to Haru attacking it with her umbrella. Black fluid splatters like black rain across the tree tops, but the beast showed no reaction to the blows for it didn't have much of a nervous system to feel pain and the attacks barely went in deep at all. With out warning, the beasts eyes glared back toward Haru as souls began crying out behind them. Using the energy of the lost sorrow, Valus charges to prepare to fire a negative energy beam. Shadow saw the danger through instinct and leaps upward wards it chin, kicking it as hard as he can to aim its attack away from Haru. He then leaps away into mid air close to Haru were he spots the creature's neck was exposed. He aims to cut off Valus's head using Zangestuha as he swing his sword and unleashes the crescent wave of spirit. " Lets see you stare at someone with out a head", he shouted. But to his shock, the attack shatters the moment of impact without a single scratch. It appears that even a blast of spirit energy is enough to pierce through. " What? My Zangetsuha had no effect", he though as he didnt see the beast's arm swinging at him and plows him like a train wreck. Shadow get his breath knocked out flying across the forest an crashing into the dirt again. Slowly he gets back up as he tries to quickly think of something before the beast even thinks about making the entire area its new home to trample around. Covered in scraped and bloody cuts, he looked like a mess. " I dont get it. Is this thing seriously that strong? Just like th book said.", he though to himself looks up at the battle as Valus attacks Haru next. " A power higher.....If thats true then how can it be stopped?", And thats when Shadow remembered the final passage," When the Warrior's heart will stand, victory will be at hand". " What does that mean? I dont understand.......dammit", Shadow became fustrated thinking of the final riddle.

Patchouli realized the connection between Orochi and the story and decided to stop as it seemed to be effect him negatively, She closed the book and got up to leave "How you sleep well" She whispered before closing the door

"Just die already!" Haru threw down her umbrella and took out her fans.she mumbled some words and shot it at the thing but befor they hit it it hit her she flew back into a tree.she fell to the ground like a doll."Agh..."she tried to get up and atack agen.it had turned back to shadow."No...focus on me damnit..."She got up weekly and started slashing at it with her fans.It hit her one moe time sending her flying to the ground skidding across.she looked like a limp doll agen.this time she didn't get up.

Ron looked at her surprised. "Well I don't usually have things we could do in mind." He said. He then began to recall when he was a student at YMHS. He used to always pull pranks and annoy Alabaster, but sadly he had to be more professional as a teacher. He didn't need to do that now, but there weren't any townspeople to actually perform them on. Other than that he liked listening to music, but he wasn't sure if Rina would be interested in music or pranks. "I don't think anything I would do would be anything that interests you." He said laughing and rubbing the back of his head. "I'm kinda boring to tell the truth." He said nervously laughing although all his fellow students loved his jokes and pranks.

Valus stomps toward Haru as he attempts to corner and smash her to death with it massive hammer. Shadow could only watch as his leg fel like jelly due to using up all of his strength just to kick the creature's head away from shooting Haru. When he could almost smell death in the air, the thought of Elena's face and Xaviar broken heart began to fill him with rage as he slowly draws out the other blade. With both swords in hand, Shadow's eyes glowed bright red as his spirit energy began to rise. Gravel began lifting and spiraling off the ground. His fangs gritted and hi hair flutters high up in the wind. Time stopped all around him as these word whisper silently like echoes through the wind," No...More. I wont stand back....and watch someone die.....EVER AGAIN!!!!" Shadow's voice went from silent fury yo a roaring voice as his spirit energy resonates with Dragon Claw and Tiger Fang and explodes rapidly. The warrior stands with his heart.He sudden begins to run across the tree tops at high speed almost as if he was flying. he energies from the sword spiraled around him like as cyclone as he leaps toward the Valus's hammer and instantly knocks it back with both swords like it was nothing. Valus lands on it back and slowly gets up growling lowly like a dead animal carcass. Shadow stands on guard protecting Haru from the deadly foe as doubt was no longer holding him back. Suddenly he powers up with a loud battle cry as the aura of a tiger and and a dragon appeared before him shrouding both blades. Shadow stares down at the colossus and crosses his blade together in position. The moment the creature final roar echoed across the lands Shadow leaps and executes his new techniques as he swipes both blades simultaneously. " Zangetsu Cross", Shadow unleashes a giant cross shaped wave of energy from his sword fueled with intense spirit power trailing through it. It pierces the beasts chest and flies through creating a trail across the forest and explodes into the sky. After that, the energies from both opposing sword form into the form of yin and yang, the sign of harmony across the sky as the sign that both swords have accepted a new master. Valus's rage was stopped to a halt, falling into four pierces falling into black ashes. The dust kick up all around the area with ashes fluttering through the air. At the very center, Shadow stood there holdings his blades silently and the gracefully sheathes them up. He drops to his knees and exhales a long sigh," Im hungry...and tired"
