Damien just shook his head and shrugged as he stretched his limbs, his robotic claws extending at the peak of his stretch. he shook his body and vanished up tp the rafter once more.

" You are a Stubborn one...I will mention it to Sairys that you are having interests in meeting her..."

He glanced at Derek and nodded.

" Same goes for you..."

"Thanks. I'd be interested in possible pointers on golem making, since I'm kinda looking to possibly try it out. I'm out of here for now, but when you next see her, if you'd mention it, I'd apppreciate it." Derek turned to walk up the stairs, waving over his shoulder at Damien before retreating to the relative quiet of his room.

Damien was no longer the focus of Tegral's attention, infact he seemed to have lost all interest in the dojo all together. Turning his body, so his head was righted on his shoulders, he started for the door. His odd little smile never wavered as a screen appeared in his HUD. A solid black line scratched it's way across an objective and then the screen closed again. Objective one was complete, oh how wonderful it felt to acomplish something. Leaving the dojo he made his way towards the forest. Let who ever decided to follow him wander aimlessly in the forest as Tegral just kept walking.

Damien watched Tegral walk out as derek felt the Room as well. SOmething told him this wont be the last time he would meet this man, and there would a fight along the way. Why was Sairys his interest as well as KB? He sighed as he vanished , heading back to the Tower.

With a soft sigh, Kahlen brushed back his golden hair. Golden was indeed the term, for it did seem....radiant. In fact, aside from having his helm under his arm, all of his armor was golden, and seemed to near glow in it's own right. Shrugging, he slipped on the helm, and started to walk up the path to the Dojo. The angel had told him of the place, just as he was going elsewhere. That's when the angel had given him the armor, or rather, the angel had passed, and somehow the shell remained. Now the shell fed from Kahlen, taking what good parts of the man it could find and making them bright for the world to see. He wasn't a champion of any faith, wasn't a priest or even a fighter, he was simply a man.

With a shrug, the plates of metal slid against each other, making a soft humming sound. Kahlen opened the door to the main room of the Dojo, and entered. Glancing about, he shrugged, once more the humming sound came. Oddly, the armor felt featherlight on him, as did the sword he carried sheathed on his back. A back where wings might have once been, but were there no longer.

Days had passed, and nothing even remotely eventful had occured. Kahlen hadn't seen a single person, and so he helped himself to a room, and some food. The place was too quiet though, nearly creepy. It was as though the building had been abandoned. The walls, though they repaired themselves, couldn't hide their scars. Everywhere he looked it seemed to cry out to him that it had once been a place of mighty warriors, slimy cowards, beings of good and ones of evil. There was enough blood spilled in the place to drown the first floor, and he could sense it.

It made him shiver, as he continued about his usual day. He kept himself busy any way he could.

Straw and wood crashed under the strength of a sloppy, yet powerful swing of Kahlen's broadsword. Regaining his footing, he took an offensive stance to the next intact dummy. He had to learn how to fight, something inside told him that. Grasping the weapon with two hands, he spun and slammed the weapon into the dummy's side. Once again sloppy, his body not yet moving with the weight of the weapon. He stumbled slightly, but the dummy had been cut in half. Sloppy, he knew his footing was off, something told him so, as if he could hear a voice. Shrugging, he heard the soft hum of the plated armor he wore.

The sword in his grip seemed to lighten, and he lifted it with ease. One-handed, he brought the weapon up in a slash from lower-left to upper-right on a nearby dummy. The result astonished him, as bright white light sprang to life along the blade. Heat washed over him as fire rolled off the blade and onto the dummy, like a tidal wave of liquid immolation. The dummy burst into flame completely, and was nothing but ash and smoke before it hit the ground. The weapon seemed to dim then, and finnaly after a few moments, was as per normal, with only the sheen of a polished blade as it's inner light. He simply stared at the blade for what seemed like an eternity. It had felt right, no, it had felt more than right, it felt holy, sacred, and utterly destructive.

He had finished his training, and so he'd cleaned up the training room as best he could. Afterwards, he had a shower and changed into some new clothing, something light and thin. After doing so, he slipped back into the armor and made his way out the door. He was being drawn to something, something distant.

A dark figure entered into the dojo with a cloak that wrapped it's form and a cowl pulled forward to hide it's face in shadows. It's eyes glimmered in shades of black, gold, and red, as it walked forth lightly closing the door quietly behind it. The figure smiled flashing sharp white teeth in the stark shadows of it's cowl. The figure weaved between the furniture before taking a laid back attitude and dropping onto the nearest free couch with it's muddy feet propped on one arm and it's head resting turned sideways near the other arm. Shadows continued to hide it's face as it's left hand rested with fingertips just touching the floor where it traced odd patterns absentmindedly with it's claws. The cloak was twisted around it's form in such a way only the arm emerged and that suggested a black shirt was being worn beneath the clothing but little else.

The figure sat up suddenly as though it had smelled something familiar, it's head twisted in the shadows of it's cowl and in moments it was on it's feet headed for the door with purposeful strides. As it slipped outside it began to lope towards the edge of the forest and as it did it's cloak wrapped tightly around it and seemed to shrink. In moments a large falcon had replaced the figure and was winging it's way into the sky and off to a destination it alone knew. It's wingbeats were strong and it's ascent swift as it made it's way high into the sky and soared away nothing more than a common bird.

Cold, that was all he felt. Was it the anger in him? No, it couldn't be, it had to be the bite of the cold wind, which whipped around him; It was the wind, he told himself again.
He pulled his scarf tightly about his face, as he trudged on through the seemingly never ending, snow, just as he had for the past two days.
What is that, he thought, as he spotted something in the distance. A building, he hoped, as he started heading in it's direction. Probably just some damn rocks, he thought to himself.
Lights? He could have swore he saw light, and now a door; A door? Rocks don't have doors, it must be a building. It was definitelly a building, he was sure of that, and he was getting closer.
One, two, three steps, they seemed to never end. He could practically feel the warmth inside, and yet it still seemed so far.

(("Edit"))

He sighed, in relief, as he took hold of the door and pulled it open, just before he stepped inside of the dojo. He, of course, shut the door behind him, as he began to take in his surroundings.
To be honest, he had no clue, as to where he was. He had been out hunting, when he had gotten hopelessly lost, mostly due to his elusive prey; A foul vampire.
The creature had led him on a three and a half day journey, through a long series of underground tunnels, before he had finally caught up to it; Follow by him slaying it, of course.
Shaking his head, causing some snow to fall off him, he did his best to cast aside such thoughts, and move one. He wanted to get warm and perhapse find some food, not sit about thinking of the abhorrent vampire.
One thought, regarding the hunt, was clear however, he didn't want to enter a cave ever again.
Making his way across the room, he found a nice, soft couch, of which he decided to take rest upon. He took his guitar from his back, then set it aside, resting it against the side of the couch, as he sunk down onto the rath comfy looking cushions, of the couch.
Between the comfort of the couch, and the sheer exhaustion that he felt, he couldn't help himself from falling into a deep, sleep. Thoughts of his recent hunt, and of whomever owned this dojo, slipped from his mind, like sand through the hands of a child.

A lone firgue could be seen walking up the long pathway, heading towards the dojo. She was wore out and tired from the travling she had done. She pulled out a piece of paper from her leather jacket, reading the name of the place once again. She muttered the name softly,"The Black Company...I wonder where it got it's name?" She shruged to herself, once she was at the doors. She quickly pulled open the door, looking about,"Hello?" Not getting an answer, she went on inside the rest of the way, before knocking snow off her boots. She glanced about the room, loosening her scarf and unbuttoning her leather jacket. Under her jacket, a lose fitting white knitted sweater showed. She went towards the couches, looking for him. Not seeing him, she frowned before sitting down. She knew he had came here, and she would wait til she found him or talked to another about him. She crossed her legs at the knees, picking at her jeans, before laying her head back on the couch.

(("Be right back, incase anyone gets on."))

Summer woke up on the couch, after haven fallen asleep earlier. She had her dream, yet again. She frowned, as she slowly wakes up, thinking it over. She only remembered part of it, it was the part about the stranger. She shook her head, she wanted to tell herself that she was being foolish, but she knew better then to believe it to be true. She reached up to touch her collar, before standing up and stretching her body slightly. She had noticed it was yet still empty, she started off towards the right, heading towards the kitchens. She returned later, holding a glass of coke, slowly sipping on it. Her dark hair fell over her eyes, as she peered about.

Malel Firin

PostPosted: Sun Dec 11, 2005 9:14 pm

A thin line of light appeared in the middle of the dojo common room. Quickly the line seemed to turn horizontily and open into a gateway, allowing the Elf Malel to step through. It had been a very long time since he had last been to the BC.

Mal looked around for a moment, only noticing one person in the dojo. A look of concern crossed his face briefly, but was covered by a smile. "Good evening to you. I hope the Goddess favored you in your travels here? You seem to be a new face, though I have not been here in a while..." He grinned a bit then shrugged. "Have you seen sign of anyone else?"
