As Jynx went into the Pokeball, Ai rubbed a thumb over it in thought before putting it on his belt. He only had one Pokeball left. And he was well aware of what kind of Pokemon he wanted to fill it. Emolga was flitting around on the ground happily while Ai stood up and turned around to head back towards where they had come from. It was going to be a long trek back, but he had no will to fight anything they came across. Fleeing would be the only thing they'd be doing.
Emolga still remembered the Diglett he promised to visit on their way back out. Hopefully he'd still be around when they got there. Well, IF they got there. There was always the chance something could happen on the way back out.

And as if this sort of thinking had summon it a Cubchoo would come upon his path. The little pokemon had a drop of snot that ran so long that it almost touched the snow as the pokemon turned to look at him with eyes that seemed to be glowing reddish.
"Cubchoo?"
It would ask as it sniffles the air, and then would lick it's maw as each jagged tooth would seem to hang out of his mouth. He had smelled something delicious on the boy ..something that was rare to be found in these mountains, since most pokemon hide their eggs deep in the mountains. Because in this place of land and snow, food like that was a delicacy that no pokemon wants to pass up as the Cubchoo would smile before charging them.
Ai cursed under his breath as the Cubchoo came into view and began to charge towards them. He had just gotten the egg and he had no desire to see it lost so soon. Even though it was hidden from view in his jacket, its bulbous form was evident. Either that, or Ai just looked like a pregnant flat-chested girl. Emolga was already aware of Cubchoo's presence and leaped up onto Ai's shoulder as the boy began to run.
THough running was definitely an option, but this pokemon wasn't so willing to let them go as he would power up his claws. If Ai failed to escape he would find himself knocked into the ground by a powerful assurance as the pokemon literally aim for the back of his leg. He was going to make it so the human couldn't possible run away ...easily.

Ai's lips released a grunt of pain as the back of his leg was hit. The boy only had enough time to turn on his side so that the egg would be safe. Emolga would have hissed had he been feline as he sent visual daggers of anger towards the Pokemon trying to harm his trainer. Without waiting for the command, Emolga charged himself, and released a Thundershock towards the Cubchoo. Whatever the risk to himself, he refused to be the type of Pokemon who would put the life of his trainer before his own.
[I also had a question. Would it be possible to have two of my pokemon against the opposing pokemon, or no?]

(You forgot to roll the dice, and yes it's possible. It has been done before ...but depending on your luck ..it can also bring in another pokemon into he fight as well.)
With Emolga on its toes, Ai grasped one of the Pokeballs at his belt and released the Pokemon within. The freshly added Jynx appeared before him, spotting the Cubchoo instantly. "It's trying to harm the egg!" he told her. It was all that needed to be said before she fizzled in anger and launched forwards with a Draining Kiss.

(I am going to assume that the first roll belong to your emolga and the second one is your Jynx. Please mark which roll is which, and once you mark ....your pokemon's will stick to those numbers. So for instance if roll#1 belong to your Emolga than for this point on ...that is what the roll will be, until the end of the fight)
The bear had plan to follow that first attack with another as he drew back his claw only to be greet with an electric shock as the pokemon on the boy's shoulder sprung to action as the Cubchoo would draw his paws up in a defensive stance. He didn't have time for much more ...as something else would come at him at well as his eyes widen at the sight of the Jynx.
[I'm not sure how the secondary attack would work. Does it go against Cubchoo's 11 as well or does it not get blocked because Cubchoo blocked the Emolga's attack first??? And yes, the first was for Emolga's. I was guessing it goes by Speed, and Emolga's got 12 while Jynx has 11 so...]
"Get ready for its next attack, guys!" Ai called as he got to his feet, his arms wrapped around the egg against his chest protectively. Perhaps having Jynx and Emolga as his body guards on the way back to the beach would be better. Emolga was a fine fighter, but he was not worried about proving a point so much as just being whole at the end of their walk. The two Pokemon dropped to a defensive position, ready to take whatever attack was thrown their way. Whoever was chosen, it didn't matter, since both were capable of turning an attack on the Cubchoo almost instantly afterwards.

(Actually you got it right, only the Emolga's attack got through due to dice roll)
The move would hit as the Cubchoo was almost crushed by the singular attack. The electricity running over him ..leaving him in a state of being paraylzed, but yet, he would fight it. He would fight anyway ....as he got up and looked at both of their defensives ...he couldn't take them both on together.
NO, instead he would aim his attack towards the Jynx as the power flex in his shoulders. His attack would double because he had been hit as went at the Jynx with his full force as he used Assurance once more.
The attack on Jynx was overlooked momentarily as both Ai and Emolga turned on Cubchoo instantly, releasing another Thundershock while the Cubchoo was still within range. They would deal with the aftermath once the battle was over and the danger had past. Jynx fell to the ground, forgotten in the moment Ai's need to protect the future life against his chest. At least the egg would be safe.

The attack would collide against her with a sickening amount of strength as the cubchoo knocked her out in a single hit. He would smile wickedly as he watches her fall, and he felt the energy from his victory flow through him. Maybe that was what made him slow, maybe that was what made him slow himself down so much as he saw the next attack coming.
He would bring up his paws once more to block, but this time, that wouldn't be all as he pushes that huge wad of snot upwards and directly into the path of the electricity. He knew ..he hoped that it would hopefully calm down the attack. He hoped that it would be enough to help him make it through this attack, because, he was going to knock the last one out and take what he deserve .....that egg.
[OKAY! Good. I was freaking out for a minute. Though it would have been an amazing view into how Ai views things >_> I am kind of sad she didn't die now. Darn. Okay, so just so I get it straight, Assurance doubles the attack not the roll?]
The Cubchoo's attempt at defending itself had no effect as the electric attack destroyed its defenses and removed it from the field. As the white furred beast fell to the white powder, Ai turned to the motionless body that accompanied it. The purple faced female, eyes closed, was weak and stupid in a fight. Perhaps it was better to sell her than the Vanillite. Her first chance to prove herself and she did nothing but cause a minor distraction and get wiped from the field in a single attack. He scoffed and returned her to her Pokeball. He'd deal with her at a later time. For now, the egg was safe and he had a long way to walk back to the edge of the snowy mountain.
"Emolga, from now on, do not attack without a command again. We run, is that clear?" Emolga's ears lowered. He had just been trying to protect his Trainer. Was that wrong? But, then again, he had done it on his own. If Ai wanted to leave the area without another Pokemon being harmed, Emolga did completely opposite of that. So he accepted his chiding and whispered out an 'I promise' in the only language he knew how to speak. It was simple enough to get the effect of what was said, so Ai nodded and returned the flying squirrel to his Pokeball for extra measure. If another issue popped up, he didn't want to have another accident.

This might not be beyond the Emolga's ability to do such a thing as the sound of kissing echo around the place. There was Jynx on the move, and these didn't find the human Ai attractive but they did think that way of the very pokemon ....Emolga that was hanging around him.
If they didn't move quickly ...they would find themselves in another complication.
Seeing as how Emolga had been placed away in his Pokeball before Ai came across the Jynx, he had nothing to fear from them as far as he was aware. He continued on his way through the snow, his eyes flitting across the landscape in an attempt to spot any Pokemon that would possibly try to harm him or the egg.
