A Broken Husk

PostPosted: Sun Nov 06, 2005 12:45 am

Tegral's body jerked and spasmed for a few moments, after the initial bite, but soon conceeded into a motionless hunk of meat and flesh. His mind had woken up, after the initial shock had worn off and now he fought, violantly, to restore his basic movement. With his body numbed, and his mind racing, he could not fight off the strange heatlike haze that began to creep up his legs. With no resistance, what so ever, the haze moved quickly. It wasn't so much a magic, nor was it any sort of energy, so it left no real noticable signature. It was just something that was! The haze was up to his waste by the time he realized what was going on. His leg...he could feel his right leg again! So that ment, if his leg was comeing back, then that ment!! Up to his chest now, and he felt the heavy weight of a handgun pressing against his chest.

Just a few more seconds...!

Feeling the blood in the body surge, and the taste of it change, the monster pulled away from Tegral, whom was now Hidjie. Confusion flickered in it's eyes for a moment, as it hissed at the form before it. Rising to its feet, it pulled back it's arm, readying the aim of it's blade at Hidjie's chest. It was wary of the changing form, and ready to impale it if need be. It still had forgotten it's mask, which lay in a pool of blood on the bed.

The strange heatlike haze continued up, even as it moved up it began to creep back up his legs again. His right leg was disappearing as the haze was creeping upwards, and his face was disappearing as the other portion of it crept upwards as well. It seemed, for a moment, that the entire thing was at random, which it was. He didn't have any control over the haze...what little control they did have was the urge to resist it. When the haze reached just below Tegral's eyes they stopped. And when the haze reached just below his chest it stopped...it was frozen that way for a long moment. Until he moved again. Hidjie's arms, plus Tegral's brain (even though it was damaged beyond repair, added with the strange scientist's black handgun that was tucked into the chest of his coat. His right arm darted into the coat of his coat as his left leg heaved all it's strength to push him forward. If that thing struck Tegral wanted it to strike it's "dead" stomach and not Hidjie's liveing chest. He had a breif moment of surprise...and he intended to use it.

Hidjie's arm slid from under his coat, producing the shineing black metalic weapon he took from the scientist, and the haze crept up above his eyes, and just below the frontal lobe of the brain. Tegral owned the body, yet he was using Hidjie's. In the same movement he fired three times, trying to aim for the head.

The creature's eyes narrowed, as it plunged it's blade into Tegral's chest. This brought his face into open view, which Tegral took advantage of. The first two shots hit dead center, causing the creatures head to snap back and it to stumble towards the door. The other shot had gone up into the ceiling, narrowly missing the creature.

Collapsing to it's knees, the creature's left hand was pressed to it's face. The bladed arm hanging loosely at it's side. Acidic blood gushed around the clawed hand to hit the floor, searing at the wood. As it sat there, the tentacles within it seemed to grow more active, as the tearing of flesh could be heard. It was not the sound of the chest being torn open, but rather the face of the creature being sheered away. What lay beneath was a grisly mass of rotting flesh and metal, which levelled on Hidjie. Shooting it's left hand forward, the creature had enough. Though it could barely see and it had nearly been put out, it managed to fire three more of the spines from it's palm. The spines were aimed for Hidjie's groin, to impale him there or if he closed his legs drive deep into his knees.

If Tegral wanted to take cheap shots, the monster would to.

Tegral's body jerked when the creature's spines drove into his groin. He would have shouted out, if he had really felt anything. The haze had began to creep back upwards. Hidjie's face contorted into sheer pain as his brain took the signals from his chest. He'd just been stabbed!! Holy dear god he was just stabbed! He was going to die! He haze sucked up, past the wound, and suddenly the pain was muted. Oh well, chicks digged battle scars. If he lived through this he might go walking around without his shirt for a while. He was built...plus that scar would be hot.

The creature remained in place, taking the moment to survey Tegral. After a few more moments it rose to its feet, and took a step towards him. Blood was stiil oozing from it's face, as it took hold of it's mask. The mask was soon back on, and the creature peered down at Tegral.

Then, taking a step up onto the bed, the clawed foot came down on Tegrals chest. The large talons would dig into Tegral, as the creature applied it's weight. It would quickly be enough to cause the matress to break from the support, causing the bed to drop to the floor. The intent of this was not to damage, for evidently the matress would absorb part of the crushing. Rather, it was to hold him in place.

The haze had just finished topping the top of Hidjie's head, so now Tegral was back in control. "...s**t..." he muttered as the giant claw like foot slammed into his chest. The bedframe creaked and moaned and eventually snapped under the force. Tegral felt one of his ribcages crack and slash down to puncture a lung. He would have cried out, would have tried to fend off his attacker...but with no arms and one leg he was fairly out classed. He was dead from the begining of the fight, this creature was obviously far stronger than he was...he needed weapons!! Blue prints, data, and statistics flew across his vision but were gone before he blinked. Trying to sit up proved even more painful as he felt one of his lungs, literally, burst. Being partially mechanical had it's advantages...as well as some rather unfortunate side effects. "...s**t..."

The creature hissed down at Tegral, and his futile attempts to escape. Though the bed had indeed collapsed, the creature had been prepared for it and quickly stabilized itself.

Flicking it's arm to the side, the blade was extended, and then with another quick movement, it had folded back into place. Now the creature reached down with both hands, taking Tegral by the sides. It was easy to carry him this way, for he didn't have arms. Glancing about, the crature looked for something to hang Tegral on. Seeing that there were no meathooks or similar things available, the creature shrugged and just dropped Tegral onto the bed. From there, it seemed to close it's eyes and think.

In the moments that the creature sat still, there was something moving towards the BC. The man groaned as he kicked in the BC door, andmoved to the couch to grab his suitcase. He missed his pills, and proceeded up the stairs. Labcoat flapping as he briskly made his way to the door, he sighed and shook his head. Soon he'd opened the door, and then, upon seeing the sight, he took a moment to throw up in the hallway.

Again Tegral tried at the beast holding him down. And again he was rewarded with a sharp chunk of rib slicing into his lungs. Oh what he wouldn't give to just fall into a state of shock and have this whole thing be over with after he woke up, if he woke up. An idea struck Tegral...

Tegral's face began turning red, a bright red of suffication. Air had stopped moveing through his one working lung, which could continue to suport him with air, so long as he did not do too much physical exertion. But this was forced suffication. He was trying to kill himself...sorta.

After wiping his lips clean, the scientist moved into the room and over to the bed. He blinked a few times at Tegral went red, but dismissed the gory sight. Laying his briefcase on th bed beside Tegral, he popped it open, th lid folding up to block tegral's view. The sound of some screws being turned could be heard, and some flicking noises. The scientist continued to work, quickly setting up the injector that would fill Tegral with a virus.

Meanwhile, the creature simply held Tegral in place. It seemed rather unphased that Teral was going red. All it had to do was hold him, and wait.

Tegral's body made no move to stop the injection. His face was turning a bright red now. His mind stopped functioning for a few moments, then started back up again. It wasn't working...and he slowly felt himself slipping from conciousness. Darkness dragged him under as his plan backfired on him and he knocked himself out.

Rolling his eyes, the man stared up at the creature. "Why'd you bother to call me out here unless we're going to do his properly?..." He seemed to glare defiantly at the thing, as he held the injector near Tegral.

The creature responded in a simple manner. It's tongue slid out past the mask, and the lashed at the scientist viciously. The tongue seemed to go beyond natural lengths, as the man stumbled back, clutching his now scarred cheek as it sizzled.

"Aw ********!" he yelled, as he backed away from the thing. Shuddering, he tore away a piece of melted skin, and closed his eyes. His mind filled with the screams of the damned as he shook, the negative energy seeping into his mind. It was a simple touch, but to the frail human it was quite potent.

Turning back to the task at hand, the creatures tondue slid down. The end slitted, like a snakes tongue, and then pressed to Tegral's neck. As if the ends were sharp, it would pierce him and begin to draw his blood. The long vampiric tongue still dripped the acidic drool, as the creature once again made the effort to turn Tegral.

((Damn gaia ate my post.))

Tegral's body offered little to drink. Between the loss of both arms, a leg, and the initial bite he had little left in his body to take. Also being unconcious he could not even struggle against the creature, not that his struggles would have done much but get him killed even if he was awake. He had no arms, no weapons, and only one leg!! Hidjie would have put up a better fight than he would have been able to! His damned malfunctions were also begining to act up again, a sharp fever shot into his system, weakening him even further.

With Tegral having fallen, the creature finished him off. The curse of the creature and many of it's kind sliding down through the tongue and into Tegral's system. It would fill his empty bloodstream, the thick black stuff flowing into him, to transfrom what biological parts were left into one of them, a vampire of sorts. The whole process would of course mean that Tegrals would most likely need blood shortly, for the negative energy in his veins wouldn't last long. The most it could do is fill him up with the darkness of the undead.

Tegral's eyes suddenly shot open, almost the instant the creature's tongue left his neck. Whether or not that was normal was beyond him...but he was awake, and feeling very strange. "...s**t..." That was the only word he seemed to know, and it seemed to fit the situation well enough. Knowledge poured into his skull, whether from KB's bite or the sudden shock of trama he wasn't quite sure...but he knew things.

The weapons lineing the racks outside the room began to vibrate as a strange feel surrounded Tegral. Swinging his legs off the bed he stopped to look up at the scientist. Something about the individual didn't quite settle well with Tegral's stomach...speaking of his stomach he was hungry. While normally he could avoid such temptations he felt as though he hadn't eaten forever! The weapons outside were no longer vibrating, but rather clattering against one another. A number of them slammed against each other and were stuck that way.
