Why do I spend so much time on Gaia? Because I don't have much of a social life at all. xp Plus, most of my best friends from irl are on Gaia. You see, we went to college together, and then everyone scattered after graduation. None of us live close to each other. And, all of us are geeks, so it works out. I can't figure out why anyone would bother with facebook when Gaia is around.

Well, I hope I can join in on whatever the discussion was. I was invited by Skippy a long time ago, but with school starting again, Gaia is kind of on the low end of priorities.
I've met some great people on Gaia, so there are definitely no regrets on coming back. Facebook is more of a tool for planning events and sharing documents than it is for socializing. At least, this is how I use it. Gaia is getting interesting again, so maybe I'll stick around for a little while longer. How's everyone doing this weekend?

I don't even have a facebook account. I have no desire for all of my friends and relatives to see what each other has to say, and reveal all of my dirty little secrets to each other. I like how Gaia is completely anonymous. If people I know irl ever knew some of the stuff I was into, I would never hear the end of it. @_@

Hey, thanks for the welcome.
That's why I consider Facebook a necessary evil. I never update or post anything on there, including school information. It's mainly there to keep in contact with people and send information. That said, it is a great way to pseudo-stalk people if you're interested or bored biggrin
EDIT - I also noticed you have a guild. Do you often post there more often? I've been looking for a place to chat for sometime, but haven't found one yet.

Heh I actually use my facebook. To follow friends, old friends, webseries, as well as keep it as a potential resume since people in the industry i'm going to be working into do look at facebook too...
But I worry more over my schooling, loans, and the fact that my dad was laid off...

Sorry I didn't post sooner! I didn't realize that you posted Shin. I was looking at the dates, and I thought that mine was the last post. sweatdrop Yeah, I somehow own a guild for adults. It's been pretty slow, but we've been getting some new members recently, so it's picking up a little bit.
Speaking of resumes, I've been sending in my resume to just about everyone I can find, but I still can't find a job! xp I could always work in fast food, but you know, I kind of went to college for six years for a reason. sweatdrop
