Well, yeah, I know God doesn't exist for real... there isn't a bloke with a very long beard sitting up in the clouds and laughing as conjoined twins are born...
So, I figure Man did make God up so they could at least find faith in an ultimate being... if a disaster happens, the religious nuts just smile and say "God had his reasons for doing that."
... If God has reasons for doing stuff, then I figure the Christians are worshipping some kind of lunatic. talk2hand

I'll let that slide. Your point of view holds only validity towards others who have no faith in anything of meaning. Life is meaningless if we weren't put here by some one or something. It is written. "God made man in his own image." Do not defile the bible. This was all written in the same century. It was not added or deducted as time passed. So I highly doubt that some guy got bored with life and wrote thousands of pages just to give himself something to believe as his life widdled away. The bible can disprove any outside point thrown our way. It is so detailed and elaborate that you cannot drive a point without being counteracted by the word of God.
I am not trying to get you to believe my point of view, that is just my knowledge and anger coming out of me. I will not allow such a comment go without contradicting it in some way. Honestly, I believe you asked for it. I will stop now though. I have many more things to say, but I don't think you would want to spend an hour reading something that will anger you and drag this on for longer than it should.

Alright, people, change the topic. We're clearly starting to annoy each other. And don't change it to politics either.
Let's change to... um...
I know. Is downloading music a good thing or a bad thing?
(I'm not sure teenagers are the best people to dicuss this with though. For all I know, we're all going to say it's good.)
I think people who arrest and sue people for downloading music are rather harsh. It's there and it's available, so naturally we take advantage. It's like yelling at a baby for taking the last cookie that just happened to be within grabbing range...
Some people don't want to spend all their money on good CDs when they might only find one or two songs on that album worth listening to... isn't it more convenient just to download that particular track?
Companies complain about losing money... but, heck, they make lots of money anyway! gonk

I feel like a bad luck charm. I dragged this thread into a ToS discussion; some got annoyed. I brought up the customs of the country I'm living in, which led to a discussion about religion that ended up annoying people again. rofl
Um...anyway...that's exactly where I stand on the downloading issue. But I think I kinda understand the bigwigs' point of view. If you leave the free downloaders alone, it will eventually lead to an age where people just stop buying original CDs and stuff. That would take quite a while, but I guess that's what the music industry is afraid of.
But yes, I do agree that arrest is too harsh of a punishment. sweatdrop

@Azura - don't worry about it. We've all been really polite to each other since Sing left; I guess we needed an excuse to get involved in something...or at least, I did.
I'm not even going to get into the downloading ar-discussion. I'll leave that to you guys unless someone says something I really don't agree with.

As for the music, I download it al the time, I don't pay and the engine I use is a registered engine. So I can't be arrested for it. 3nodding

In fact, you could almost say she's gone the other way...*coughl337cough* *mock glares at D* I wouldn't say it's "useless" to have the old way of doing things offline around, mainly because there're security concerns, but there's also shipping, and trustworthyness of source, etc.
