The look that came on the Jynx's face at all those words were pure confusion at first. She care little for his mission, none for his Amber, but then the last part ..come with him.
Her eyes would turn to hearts as she smiles happily at him ....as she cup her hands together tightly.
He had asked her to come with him. That had to be a declaration of his undying love for her ....of his wish to marry her. And, then her brain started to work backwards as she took his other words to mean ...that in order to forge a ring for their wedding he needed amber. Amber she could find, amber in plenty for something like that as she reaches up to take his hand ....and made it a point to twirl her fingers inbetween his as she pulls him hard.
"Jynx ...Jynx."
She would wave as she pulls him towards the groove she had come from. There ...in a nest inthe middle of a tree he would find what he sought ...Amber.

The reaction he was getting from the Jynx seemed positive, especially when she took his hand and jerked him to follow after her. Emolga watched her closely in case she tried to kiss him again, but relaxed as she began to pull them towards a grouping of trees. She called the name of her species, and he looked into the middle of the tree clump to find his jewel. A smile spread across his face and he reached in, grasped it and pulled it out, quickly pocketing it before looking back at Jynx.
"Thank you so much, Jynx. You really helped me out. Stay still okay?" He offered another soft smile before placing his hand on her cheeks to keep her from trying to move, and placed his lips on her forehead as a parent or lover would do. "Do you still want to come with me?" he asked as he grabbed a Pokeball out of his bag and held it in front of him. She could press the button, and enter the ball on her own, or refuse. Either way, he had gotten what he came for. Having a Pokemon like her could be problematic, but beneficial all in the same turn. Having her would mean he could sell the Vanillite he had captured before. He had no need for an Ice Type when Jynx served that purpose and more. Then again, it would all depend on how strong this Jynx actually was.
The Jynx's eyes were turning once more into hearts at those words, of course she was going with him. He was her husband to be afterall, but she wouldn't touch the pokeball just yet. She looked at him searching his face ...as she looks away a bit nervous.
Would he still want her?
She would shake away the fear ...it didn't matter either way, because, she would never leave here without it ...even for her beloved. She would shift back towards the trees seemingly leaving him behind for a moment as she would come back from her hiding place with it in her hands ....a small egg. She had hidden it ...as she walks back over to him with it as the egg itself seem to radiate a heat that was un-natural in this place as she smiles at him lightly.
She would place go towards him as she waited to see if he would accept them both.
Jay arrived at the island just as the sun reached its apex. He was glad the pokemon that got him here brought him in one piece. He was told by the dock master to follow the path until he came to a cave. Jay followed the rustic path surrounded by thick brush towards a rocky cliff side. As the path came to end he noticed a dark entrance into what seemed like the cave the man had mentioned to him.
The vibe the area gave was rather dark, and the temperature was noticeably cooler then outside. He could hear the sound of bats in the distance. The cave though it was dark was alive with life. Pokemon were everywhere living as a community. Jay was beyond curious at this point as he began to venture into the depths of the cavern.
They say that the heat of the desert can bake anyone's brains and it would seem that this was his case ...as the illusion would die away ....as his foot sinks deep into the sands. He wasn't going to be journeying through any cave this time .....as he stood on the edges of the giant desert. The entire fantasy broke apart and he would see that boundless desert was another form of hell that stood before them.
This was going to a long and hot trek indeed.

Trapinch quickly jumped out of Jays bag as it grabbed his arm with is powerful mouth. Jay was from the small village in a desert so he was used to quicksand, but none the less the heat was something no out could avoid. He quickly calmed his body avoiding making the struggle that much harder. He slowly shrugged his leg out as he used his entire upper body to get out. Trapinch helped out as well making sure Jay wouldn't slip by holding its ground.
As Jay escaped the sand he looked up to see it was like home all over again. The desert stretch was endless. He slowly pulled off his jacket as he wrapped it around his head to prevent direct exposure to the sun. Trapinch once again crawled into Jays bag to stay cool.
"This is gonna be a long journey bud." Jay said as he continued to walk on after he nearly put himself in danger.
A yap would happen at their back as the managed to free themselves from the quicksand as a Growlithe would sit upon the sands. His tail wagging from one side to another as a spark would flare up everytime that he breathed. He was the happy sort of pokemon, and one that would never attack those that don't mean it any harm. That didn't mean that he didn't bite ...as he curl his tail tight against his haunches.
Humans here?
he had seen them before, and he would give another yap to try and say welcome. Though a bit more flames than he meant to release would flicker in front of his own nose.
Was this a challenge? The pokemon's wagging tail would try to say no ...as he smiles at them both.
"Growlithe ...growl."
Only the magnemite would understand his words of welcome to this hostile hot island.

Just as Jay was about to walk he was greeted with a bark. He quickly turned around to see a Growlithe sitting down wagging its tail. The pokemon seemed rather friendly unlike the houndour which would attack people in his village. Jay knelled down about eye level with the pokemon as he began to rub its head.
"Hey their little guy." he said with a smile. It was Jays first time with a wild pokemon. Julia was always more of a trainer then Jay, she always was out going. Jay kinda hated pokemon especially if they were wild, but now he wasn't so uptight. "So are you lost? I mean the desert isn't a place for something as adorable as you." he question as he stood up looking for other Growlithe.
THe Growlithe would c**k his head to the side at those words. Lost? Why would he be lost in his own territory? It seemed a strange thing for a human to ask as he would stare him in the eyes, and he simply wagged his tail from side to side a bit more. Than finally he decided that this human had been welcome enough as he stood up and shook himself once.
He would give one more flick of his tail before he would turn to race off into the desert sands. It wasn't like he had any commitment to a human.

Ai watched in curiosity as the Jynx walked away and fetched something. An egg? The teen idol's eyes widened in surprise, because even where he was at, he knew the egg didn't belong to Jynx. He had read that eggs resembled the markings of the species held within. The coloring was extremely different than Jynx's own. The boy was on one knee and held his arms out towards Jynx and the egg, one hand still holding onto the Pokeball he had held out for her before. It was a silent question of whether he could hold it or not. Given that he did, it was clear of his acceptance."You've been taking care of it?" he asked in his soft voice.
She would nod her head slowly and with the caution of someone who had fallen in love with something fragile she would move to hand it to him when she notice that his arms were out. IF this was a male that was willing to accept both her and her adopted egg ...she would be more than willing to follow him to the ends of the earth as she waited to see if the pokeball would still be held out to her.
She waited to see how he would handle the egg, because, though she didn't look it ...she was confident she could stop him if he threaten the egg in the least. She love him ...but she wasn't willing to let him harm the egg because of it.

The boy took the egg gingerly, having never handled one before. It was incredibly warm, but the markings on it were so beautiful he couldn't draw his eyes away at first. He looked back up at her and smiled before shifting a bit and opening his jacket to hold it like a Chansey held her eggs. He zipped up his jacket and held one hand beneath it to make sure it was secured and warm. "It'll stay warm and safe that way until we get back and I can get a backpack and incubator. So, Jynx, are you ready to go?" His hand held out again, the Pokeball clear as day before her. His look of kindness still there as he waited for her to become his chess piece in future battles.
Though from her perspective she saw a gentle and tender male who was tending to their child. She would smile largely and then touch the pokeball as she clasp his hand in her own.
"JYNX."
(I do)
She would disappear then in a flash of red as Ai would capture this pokemon without a fight.
