quickly and carefully, Miku shifted the puppy to one arm and caugt the rock. She looked at it in cofusion. Well, she really had no clue where it came from, so she pocketed it before keeling down and setting the puppy on the ground carefully. "I'm sure that your James would rather I not take you away from him or took you to a hotel. I am sure you will find your James." She reached into her bag and sat a leek down in front of the puppy before turning to Miku and Neru. "Let's go~!"(( ?))

 Honehime kept up the pressure as best she was able to, but it seemed a foregone conclusion that she would be overpowered. Her mind was working furiously to find another way out, some way to avoid getting injured. And then, she had it! Not even giving herself time to think it over or doubt her intuition, she rolled to the side, even as Echidna was kicking at her. The kick still hit her, making her roll more of a miscalculated tumble, but she still managed to avoid the descent of the curved sword that her teacher was using. She got to her feet quickly, finally almost able to move as she wished on the sap. She whirled around and prepared to go on the offensive, one sword melting back to attach to her arm like an odd bracer or gauntlet. She rushed forward, planning on making several spikes of bone jut out from her body once Echidna drew close to attack again. (28775 words + 162 words = 28937 words) Lieselotte could see that Sakazuki and Etheldreda were in conversation, and that Shuku and the furred girl were cuddling while chatting with Mei. It seemed she was the last one left without someone to talk to. She wasn't really feeling all that lonely, she did a lot of her best work alone. Not that she was ever truly alone, of course. She had her sister with her. Even now, Elfriede was nearby, helping to make sure their camp was secure. So she went in search of the half formed puppet that was her sister's incarnation, to find out if there had been any changes in the surroundings in the time since she had last checked. It was doubtful, but one could never be too sure, and if it went warding off a successful ambush, then the paranoia was worth it. She took another look around camp, still not seeing anything out of the ordinary. The grill would still be hot for quite some time, she was pretty sure of that, so they should probably pull it off of the heat to prevent any of the remaining food to char too thoroughly. They could cook it until it was dried out, and it would be more portable, though not as tasty. (25023 words + 212 words = 25235 words) Katsu sighed happily upon feeling Shuku snuggled up a bit against her, resting her chin atop her head. For pokegirls like her, simple physical contact was one of the best and most reliable pleasures of life, so she was feeling very content right now. She would feel even more blissful if Mei would somehow work into the cuddle, but if she were to get sandwiched between the two curvaceous ladies, it might tempt her too strongly into trying to initiate another taming. and right now was meal time, something that she took just as seriously as taming time. So she simply enjoyed the physical contact as she ate her grilled veggies. Mei looked at Shuku curiously, when Shuku said that her guess was wrong. Oh, she was used to her guesses being wrong, they usually were. But usually, the person would go on to tell her what the right answer was. She wanted to know what was making her look weird! (31777 words + 161 words = 31938 words) Zenia continued her surveillance, debating if it would be worth the distraction of pulling out a small notebook to make notes on the various observations she was making. In the end, she decided against it. Both because leaving physical proof of her activities was viewed as foolish in her line of work, and also because she could very easily miss something important if she was busy scrawling something in the notebook. So she would simply have to keep it all within the confines of her mind. Her memory was sharp enough, she was up to the task. So she settled in to get a little more comfortable, prepared to wait as long as it was necessary before making her move. So far, no one in the group had done very much, so far it was all simply boring, every day activities that shed no new light on how Lieselotte had changed. No, she would have to continue watching for quite a while longer before she would be rewarded with the knowledge she sought. (11638 words + 173 words = 11811 words) Once again, Melona found herself increasingly distracted by Menace's ample charms. It almost seemed to her that the Imhotep was intentionally posing in such a way as to show them off to their full effect. And what an effect they were having on her! She had to shake her head a little, dislodging those lewd thoughts yet again so she could return to business. "Yes. Alright. Umm, moving on. Yes. Well, I suppose let's try to call forth our chakra. Okay, so what you need to do is stand up straight, and concentrate. Feel your internal energy, and call it forth throughout your body. Imagine it rising up from the base of your spine, into your neck, and then circulating throughout your entire body. Feel how warm it is?" She was trying the exercise at the same time as she was describing it, to see if it worked that way for her. She didn't really have a spine or anything, so she was simply trying the best she could. (14335 words + 172 words = 14507 words) "Chicken noodle? Sure, that sounds perfect!" It had been quite a long time since she had last had that most famous of soups. Back in the better times, before fighting had barged into her life and made it's presence a permanent fixture of it. She still remembered it, and fondly at that, though. So yes, chicken noodle would be perfect. She didn't know how easy it would be to make from scratch, if she didn't already have any prepared noodles, though. But she was still willing and able to learn. If nothing else, she would splurge and buy a few ingredients each time she was within a village, so that the next time she made a meal, she could make some. Maybe a little more complicated than usual, compared to her living off the land methods, but ultimately, the taste would make it worth the extra effort, she hoped. So she nodded vigorously and moved to a good vantage point to watch as Airi would get started, so she could see everything that would happen. (14635 words + 178 words = 14813 words) V-13 could see Pan's hand getting closer, with the tool she held gleaming silver in the harsh lights of the workshop. Her RPMs were flaring up again, and she tried desperately to bring them back in line with standard levels. Both because it might make things easier on her, and also because she didn't want to risk accidentally injuring her superior officer with an unruly servomotor. So she sent numerous signals to many of her processing banks, ordering a general decrease in her processing speed and motor functions. Yes, it would limit her effectiveness in combat, but the restriction could be lifted once the tuning was done. For now, she needed to stay the android approximation of the vehicle state of idle. Finally, she felt her processes lower in speed, and felt a small wave of relief at one crisis averted. With that immediate threat out of the way, her focus returned to what Pan was doing, and her RPMs nearly flared up to near critical levels all over again. Seeing Pan's hand shifting about inside of her, touching her here and there, minutely altering components as she measured output and scanned for anomalies, it was all nearly too much for her. She could feel her processors strain to handle the information overload, as terabytes of new information came pouring into her memory banks. Her senses were sharpened to their finest gradient so she could view and record every minute action of what was happening. at one level, she was horribly embarrassed by what was happening. At another deeper level, she was oddly fascinated and intrigued, but she didn't know why. Yes, letting another work upon oneself was a sign of great trust, but even so, this felt different from that. This was something more. (12602 words + 300 words = 12902 words) Etheldreda waited a moment longer, to see if Sakazuki had anything else she wanted to ask. No further questions were offered, so she assumed that there was nothing else specifically that her Master wanted to know. She could feel through their bond that Sakazuki was thinking over something, that the thought was at least a little depressing and worrisome. She debated asking about it, but decided not to. Sakazuki could tell her if she wanted to, if she was ready to talk, then she would listen. Instead, she decided to ask a simpler question. Namely, what was Sakazuki doing so far from Hidden Twilight? She couldn't think of anything in the area that was truly worth leaving the relatively safe confines of the village for a Circe. There were no nearby spot that matched the world's ley lines, spots where the very earth's magic ran through like a phantasmal river. Such spots were often precious to magic users, as it strengthened their own art. Hidden Twilight was built upon an intersection of three of those ley lines. (5851 words + 180 words = 6031 words) Dizzy had finally managed to catch her breath, and moved to a sitting position on the tree's branch. She had just been working up to moving to a standing position, so that she could try to get up one branch higher, to stand next to Shouko, but the Akimichi beat her to it. Nimbly, the larger girl leaped down to land next to her, balanced easily on the slightly shifting trunk. Dizzy had frozen for a moment during the leap, afraid that if she moved too much, it might make the branch shift too much, and make either or both of them lose their balance. But now that Shouko had landed safely, she carefully got to her feet, one hand staying pressed against the tree's bark as she managed to keep her balance. She looked around, wondering if the mushrooms could really be growing all the way up here, instead of down on the ground? (5981 words + 157 words = 6138 words)

Kyo shook himself in order to be more conscious. Then he picked up the leek with his mouth and ran towards James. He then ran towards James' stuff. He laid down and he waited for James and he nommed on the leek.
James waved goodbye, and he turned to go and pick up his stuff. He grabbed his jacket and he put it on, then he grabbed the rest of his stuff and he placed it on then he picked up Kyo and he placed him inside his jacket. He looked at him and he smiled.
"Let's get out of here" he said and he slowly exited the Academy

Sakazuki raised a brow slightly, as if she were caught off guard but was trying to hide her surprise with the inquiry. With that however, she merely seemed to shrug. “It started out as simple wandering, really…” It wasn’t that she was bored of Hidden Twilight; she loved the place to be honest, but a sudden wanderlust had overtaken her and the decision had been made to come to the Academy to merely look into these other mystical arts. From that answer, she branched into the meeting of Honehime and Lieselotte and the newly suggested journey of hunting for… Mandrake, was it? Truth be told, after a couple days, the Circe had forgotten.
===

The Mayonaka however, had seemingly disregarded the matter with Mei as something that was no longer important. After all, Mei was… Mei. Strange things came from her often. Thus, Shuku merely kept her head where it was, her eyes as the woman took several moments to merely rest her eyes. Such was a luxury that had become quite scarce ever since she had joined this party. Thus, while everyone was peaceful, she intended to milk it for all that it was worth.
===

Upon Alice’s enthusiastic answer, Airi took the leftover dough from the past night from it’s container, kneading it until it had become soft enough to work with. Then she got to work, creating the noodles just as she had done every night of work. Though the noodles were slightly different ramen in one way or another, the maid assumed that in this case, it would not matter much. Everything was soon prepared and she set it aside for later, now getting to prepare a broth. “Did your mother ever make this for you?” It was a random question, one that didn’t have much thought put into it and was merely thrown out there to instill some communication between them.
===

Following her instructor’s words and demonstrations, Menace gave a nod then assumed a similar pose. Her form shook slightly as she suddenly assumed the position, but she soon became still as she brought her hands together. She focused and took a deep breath, inhaling quietly just as she had seen some people within her village do as well. She closed her eyes and tried to imagine that flow of energy coursing through her form and soon, she seemed to open her eyes, as if sensing motion within her. Was it chakra? Or was it gas. She paused briefly. It was better to be optimistic and call it chakra.
===

The form moved just as Echidna’s kick had lashed out. She felt contact, but certainly not enough to severely wound her pupil as she stood up straight, whirling to face the direction that Honehime had rolled off towards. This seemed to be a wise choice as soon, the girl was charging towards her. How bold! Mentally, the woman applauded her student’s efforts as she moved forward as well, however, rather than engaging her directly, she dipped her foot slightly into the sap before she kicked upwards, likely sending a glob of the semi-liquid into the Kaguya’s face to blind her for a moment as the Orochi used her momentum to send a knee into the white haired girl’s stomach.
===

With that, they were off, thankfully leaving the nuisance behind them. The puppy, Neru did not so much mind. It was the owner that irritated her to no end. Still, she said nothing, deciding to merely get away before the nagging irritance in her mind caused her to make something else explode. Nonetheless, now that she was amongst both friends, she felt that if she was indeed to snap, either of them had the manpower to restrain her and keep her from wreaking havoc.
===

Pan was amazed. Such intricate design and not a speck of dust was present. Yet… That only made things slightly more troublesome for her when it came to deciphering what the issue was. If there was no dust, then there was really no actual cause for this fluctuation in fan power. Though the fact that it was changing, even now, caused Pan to look up towards V-13, examining her change in tone as well. “Is something the matter, V-13?” She inquired, gazing upon her underling as her hands worked, evidently eager to get to the root of this problem as they roamed.
===

Shouko seemed to share Dizzy’s thoughts… Or at least so far as mushrooms went as she looked around scoping the branch from tip to trunk before a disappointed frown appeared. No truffles. How saddening. They’d need to go higher up. However, with Dizzy like this, could they really risk ascension? “Do I need to give you a piggy back?” She inquired, more jokingly than actual seriousness… Though the concept could very much work for this sort of problem.

 Honehime had been rushing toward Echidna, prepared to counter attack if Echidna got close enough with another attack. unfortunately her teacher was still one step ahead of her, kicking a face full of the sap at her. She managed to bring an arm up to block the sap from getting in her eyes, but in the process, her momentum was effectively snuffed. She faltered in her charge, even as Echidna drew in clsoe and made her crumple to the ground with a savage knee to the gut. Her breath left her in an audible whoosh. Even with the sap and her own bones protecting her, that had hurt. She tried unsuccessfully to suck in a lungful of air, but instead only managed to wheeze. It would pass in a moment, but that moment was one moment too long. As Echidna had already proven, it only took a moment to get in close and attack savagely. Honehime had a hard time paying attention to her surroundings, but tried her best, hoping to get even an instant of warning before Echidna would attack again. (28937 words + 182 words = 29119 words) Lieselotte looked at the grill for a moment longer, knowing that she had to wait until it would cool down before trying to move it. She didn't even know who's grill it was, who it belonged to. She hadn't thought any of the others had brought much in the way of supplies, let alone something like that! It didn't look like an ordinary grill, it looked like something that had been cobbled together from other objects. That white material, for example, actually looked like bone. But it was in no shape she had ever seen before, so it couldn't be that. What, then? Ceramics? Porcelain? She frowned slightly at the slight mystery, and looked around camp again. No, she was virtually positive that nobody had brought something like that with them, nor the parts to put it together. Then again, the busty cowgirl had shown herself capable of alchemy, had she crafted it, somehow? She had made mattresses and sheets for them from the trees, after all. (25235 words + 172 words = 25407 words) Mei waited, but Shuku didn't say what was wrong with her. She considered asking again, but saw the Mayonaka close her eyes and settle down against Katsu. So she simply stopped worrying about it. Overall, she wasn't much of a worrier. Or a thinker, for that matter. But yes, not a worrier, unless it was her own mistake. Then she could end up moping around for days, if she had done something particularly foolish or unwise. It happened fairly regularly, of course. Luckily, it was easy enough to break her out of those moods, just be being with friends, that was usually enough. So with Shuku and Katsu at her side, she should be just fine. And speaking of Katsu, the young sheep girl was still simply enjoying the cuddling with Shuku, resting against her chest even as she was resting atop her. It was warm, and felt nice. She sighed contentedly, and debated simply taking a nap, to sleep off the veggies she had munched, and to enjoy her position some more. (31938 words + 175 words = 32113 words) Zenia continued to watch, silently and patiently. It seemed the group was either preparing to settle in for a longer wait, or getting in some last minute relaxation before they had to set off once more. Either way, she would be ready. She felt confident enough in her skills that she believed she could continue to monitor them even while on the move, that she could trail them while on the move and still avoid detection. Of course, that was probably true, but only as long as there were no unknowns to factor into the equation. If any more new people showed up to join their group, that could make things more difficult. Not that just one more person within the group would change too much. Just that in the process of a new person arriving, they could very well stumble across Zenia's position before she was aware of the new arrival. After all, surprise guests like that had a habit of showing up when you least expected it, in a way that was virtually impossible to guess. (11811 words + 179 words = 11990 words) Melona had closed her own eyes in concentration as well. If she had known the jiggling sight that she had just missed, she surely would have become depressed. Luckily, she wasn't aware of it, instead focusing on trying to feel her internal energy, to convert it into chakra. She could feel it, she thought. It was a warm current, like feeling warm bath water flow past you as it went down the drain. Pleasant enough, but she couldn't let herself get distracted. She tried deciding which technique she thought she could possibly manage to perform, but had trouble deciding. The Henge, she could already do on her own, with her own unique skills. So not that one. But then, which one? Substitution, or a bunshin? Water and tree walking didn't really seem possible at the moment, so it seemed her choice was just between the two techniques. But could she even successfully do either of them? She wasn't sure. (14507 words + 163 words = 14670 words) Alice watched in silence as Airi got to work on kneading the dough, plying it until it was ready to roll out and cut into the desired size. It seemed she was cutting them by hand, something that was fairly unusual in this day and age. that was fortunate for Alice, however. After all, there were no outlets to power a pasta maker in the forest, not to mention simply lugging the contraption around seemed unnecessary as well. When Airi asked if her mother had ever made her chicken noodle soup, she nodded. Then she realized that Airi couldn't see her nod her head, so she spoke her answer aloud. "Yes, although much of the time it was the canned version. Once in a while, though, she would make homemade soup. It was always so yummy." She remembered those times fondly. She hadn't had a bad childhood or anything, yet she now found herself in this odd situation of continually fighting. She missed the time before, but she was still sure that this was the right path for her to take, no matter the hardships. (14813 words + 187 words = 15000 words) Haku eagerly fell in behind her friends, eager to get away from all of the attention and talking with the strangers. Yes, she technically knew who they were, but it was no surprise that she didn't make friends quickly, or easily. so in her mind, they were still practically strangers to her. If they wanted to even try to get closer to her, they would have to keep working at it, and take it very slow. As skittish as she was around people as a whole, especially new faces, if they tried to go too fast, all they would accomplish is scaring her away. Just like trying to get a wild fawn to eat from your hand, you had to be very careful of anything you were doing that could be even the least bit frightening. Of course, Haku wasn't a fawn, but she wasn't exactly normal, either. Her voice, that horribly artificially sounding synthesis of sounds, was proof enough of that. And that was why she proved so reluctant to speak, at least to those who didn't already know her voice. (10493 words + 186 words = 10679 words) V-13 was doing her best to try not to pay too much attention to what her superior officer was doing, to the fact that Pan was currently wrist deep in her circuits and exploring every last facet of them down to the circuitboards. Her RPMs revved up again, and she tried to decrease their output once more. She was so distracted by this ever increasing cycle of anxiety that she almost didn't notice Pan had spoken until her audio sensors sent a copy of the sound file to her processors, to make sure the data was properly documented. "Ummm... It appears th-that the problem is m-manifesting more forcefully. Has any f-factors been noted as of yet?" Her speech was still slurred, though thankfully not to the point of being outright gibberish. Her nervousness was growing more and more profound, though, and it would likely not end anytime soon, at least not while Pan was still examining her systems so intimately. Of course,s he didn't really realize this, and neither would Pan without gaining access to her log of activity and tracking the proper data flow, seeing that an inordinate amount of processing power was being redirected to the memory drives, that this entire affair was being recorded at maximum quality, from multiple angles and filters. Even then, she might not be able to figure it out. After all, Pan was much more like a standard model, in that the rather tenuous bond she had with anything even approximating emotions was just that, approximations. As such, it would be very difficult for her to grasp the idea that V-13 was honestly mortified and embarrassed. (12902 words + 281 words = 13183 words) As before, Etheldreda could sense the base of Sakazuki's emotions through their bond. Surprise at the question, tinged with a little bit of amusement and enjoyment? such a unique blend of emotions, that was part of what made humans so interesting, and suitable as partners. Their emotions were always so intense, so vibrant. It lent a certain spice to life, and it always made things seem more real, more enjoyable. She listened as Sakazuki explained just how she had come to this point, the differing motives that had come to her over the duration of her time away from home. At the mention on Mandrake, she wondered what form of potion Sakazuki was working on, that she needed fresh Mandrake. There weren't many differences in the usage of fresh versus prepared, but it could sometimes make a huge difference. as well, it's extraction was always difficult, it must be a rather important potion she wanted to craft. (6031 words + 160 words = 6191 words) Dizzy had also looked around, but just like Shouko, she couldn't see any mushrooms. She looked up at the higher branches, wondering if by fluke they could be just a little higher. It seemed that Shouko was thinking the same thing, too. Shouko seemed ready to go, able to easily leap up to any of the other branches, but paused to ask if Dizzy needed help. She felt a little ashamed at her own lack of skill, and didn't want to swallow her pride just yet. So she measured the distance to the nearest branch, and from there continued to track up and up. This tree, like so many others, didn't have any real branches right at it's base. But once you hit the branch level, they were fairly plentiful. Enough that even someone like her could probably manage to clamber from branch to branch without too much difficulty. So she tried to move her hand away from the trunk, to stand up straight under her own power. "No, I think I might be able to manage it on my own. I want to try." (6138 words + 189 words = 6327 words)

Kane Doragon, Eki Gogyou, And Makka Sinobi Eki laughs loudly before noticing Su motioning away. Before Kane or the newcomer notices, Eki is trailing after Su. "Why'd ya leave?" Eki asks flinging herself downward from a tree a ways in front of Su. She stares at Su while dangling upside down curiously, her blades strapped to her back now to show that she meant no harm. "Ow, ow, ow! Wh-where am I?" The young female that had fallen atop of Kane sits on her knees and looks around before hearing groan from beneath her. Her hair stands on end as she flings herself off of Kane. "Ow is right. Where the heck did you come from?" "Hidden Grass." "Wait... what?" "I was in Hidden Grass one minute and then this guy with wings came and flung me here." Kane stares at the female a moment before looking away. Using his index finger he makes a sort of crazy signal, his finger circling his ear. "AM NOT! That's how I was flying in the sky and-" "Hm? Where's Su? And where's Eki?" "Who? What about me?" "What's your name?" "Makka-" "Come on Makka," interrupts Kane hopping onto his feet from his place on the ground. He grabs Makka's wrist and tows her all around the front of the school, searching for Su. Then they go into the forest opposite of Su to look but to no avail. "Maybe she's a music loving magician and disappeared," Kane mutters sitting on a tree branch as Makka lays on her stomach across a large rock dead tired. Words = ?

 ((Sorry for the slow reply.)) Miku smiled and nodded as they started off, waving behind herself cheerfully as they walked away from their new friends. While walking, she ran into a tree, stumbling back and rubbing her nose with a tear in her eyes. She then shook it off and ran a few steps to catch up.(( ?))

she pointed to the girl"because you have someone less boring to talk to" she moved away from the girl walking into the school looking for a place with a piano he fingers itched to play a new song she composed in her head and she was soo eagr her self to hear it out loud on a piano where its sweet strings would creat such beauitful music. She sighed with her eyes closed. Oh how she wish she could just play all the time. She hummed to her self as she walked looking around and stopping here and there to look into a room

Kane Doragon, Eki Gogyou, And Makka Sinobi "Hm?" Eki thinks on what Su had said without really noticing she'd disappeared on her. "Someone less bor- Ugh! You don't mean Kane and the weird fallen girl! Kane is annoying and keeps trying to eat my precious blades. I've had them since I was young. And that girl... WHO FALLS OUT OF THE SKY?" Finally she notices Su is gone. "No one disappears when I'm talkin," growls Eki. She continues to sit even though she wanted to go and find Su or at least someone one so she wouldn't seem deserted. "You stay here. I'm gonna go look around the other side." "Maybe," calls out Makka as Kane begins to bound away, "she wants to be left alone?" "Would you want to be left alone?" "Erm. No." "Me either. And not that the fact that hardly anyone likes being alone hardly, I was talking to Su. I want to hang out with her." "Well sorry for me just falling into you and hers space." "Oh. you're so considerate for caring." "But-" before Makka can say anything Kane is gone. Makka pouts angrily while still laying atop the rock. After must searching Kane finds himself in a music room with many instruments in it. "I sure am hungry." Kane looks around hungrily before shaking his head from side to side. If he were caught eating school property he'd be in trouble. And if some instrument master like Su or somebody came in and saw him chowing down... he'd be ashamed of himself. Slowly Kane makes his way to the door so he can continue his search. Sunaarashi [Mami] "I feel like killing someone today," thinks a beautiful young woman to herself idly. The woman was standing atop of the Academy building just gazing down at the many tiny specs scurrying around. "How boring," she sighs as she taps one first upon the roof. She walks along the roof a bit just thinking about who she might like to kill and just how she'd like to do it. She then begins tinkering with the gauntlets on either of her wrists. Bored she begins to try and focus chakra into each gauntlet but with little success. She need motivation to manipulate sand. She needed something to made her WANT to use her sand. Akki Jishin and Shoukeimoji [Terra] "Moji stop running around like that."
"But brother," whimpers a young girl dim purplish hair her dark blue hues gazing at a man with a dark black scarf on and whose eyes were hidden beneath his lids. The young girl had paused, one foot barely touching the ground, another bent awkwardly up in the air and behind her, arms parallel to one another, and head tilted slightly, "this place is so neat!"
"I know you're excited but cool your jets."
"You and your strange phrases. When did you learn that?"
"It's ages old. Stop standing like that. Your dress might come up and people'll see your undergarments."
"What's so bad about seeing my undergarments?" The young girl brings both feet down and grabs at the bottom of her dress with both hands. She raises her head high and tugs her dress up but as soon as she does the ale she was talking to tugs it down.
"Moji please just do as I say. You don't want to come off as strange to the people in this location. Do not shame Egypt."
"Yes Akki," states Moji through pouted lips. Akki stands upright before crouching down, three blades dig into the dirt while also jabbing at the sides of Akki's hip of which they are located. Akki places a hand atop Moji's head and sighs.
"You're such a hand full," he states before standing upright. Moji removes her hands from their place on the bottom of her dress and touches her right hand to the strange staff on her back. She smiles happily at Akki who gazes up at the roof. "Stay here."
"But Akki." Akki turns to give Moji one cold stare before turning back to the Academy roof. He walks towards and then into the building as Moji takes a seat upon a large fountain at the front of the building. Kaze Megami [Abumi] "Gliding into the area as if the air is hers to control is Kaze Megami. And look," whispers a girl to herself as she actually seems to glide on the air around the front of the school as she strings two Yo-Yo's around, "she's even wielding two element cutting Yo-Yo's. Who is this marvelous young woman to come in so amazingly? You didn't hear me the first time? It's Kaze Megami!" The last part she yelled out loudly. Kaze blushes out of embarrassment before gliding over to the fountain in the center of the area. As soon as she begins to sit on it she notices a young girl. She scoots over to her and smiles widely. "hi ya! My name's Kaze though I'm pretty sure you heard me scream my name really loud before. Sometimes I get a little carried away you see." Jura Ctarl-Ctarl [Kitsuna] "Hush now. Let the Ctarl-Ctarl ease your aching muscles," growls a young woman with gorgeous green eyes and blond hair. She was skulking around the sleeping Makka. Naturally this female didn't plan on easing Makka's aching muscles. A purr ensues from the females lips before she hears a strange noise. She hisses before flinging herself up and into the tree above Makka. "Why have you followed Jura here?" Aisu Hebi [Mizu] A quiet and very self kept seeming female wanders into the area and gazes up at Jura. "I did not follow you. Perhaps you are mistaken?" The female seems to mouth. "A Kitsuna clan member can certainly read if not hear my lips brush together." This females slowly slips over to where Makka lay sleeping. She brushes an ice cold hand over Makka's cheek. Once Makka shivers she removes her hand. She only needed to see if the female was alive or not. Words = ?

she smiled as she played a slow tune at first trying to get the feel of her melody before it turned into a sad almost depressingly lullaby. Her smile grew wider across her pale pink lips http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25i56AWtFqk <--thats the song she's playing on the piano Her fingers flew gracefully across the keys creating her melody she had composed only hours ago. That wouldn't get out of her head until she wrote it down or played it. With the end of the song nearing she frowned. She didn't want this short melody to end. As it did she let out a sigh before picking up her violin and taking it out of her case"Its been too long my friend" she murmered to it running her fingers across the strings and picking up the bow and she started playing a familer song she had loved but had not written http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21ZqUgqGld8&feature=related <--thats the violin song

Kane Doragon And Eki Gogyou "What a lovely sound," thinks Kane turning around and glancing behind him and at the piano in the room he hadn't noticed before. He wanted to call Su's name but he was afraid he'd interrupt. He turns all the way around and listens to her play then she stops, the serenade ending. Kane's eyes trail over the rich cream colored piano with small golden designs here and there upon it. He had been so distracted that he didn't say anything to her. He looks at her mesmerize as she again begins to play. She was better than he would have imagined.
"That's beautiful," thinks Eki to herself as she hides behind a wall of the Academy. She had planned and flinging herself through the window in anger since Su had left her in the forest but now she was immobilized by Su's songs. Words = ?

She continued to play till she reached the end of her song and grabbed a soft cloth out of the violin's case, with this she started wipping the violin down as well as the bow before putting it back in it's case. She loved the smell of the cherry wood that her violin was made of. It reminded her of her old home. But she didn't have time to think of this. Though her mind kept urging her she tried to refuse. To anyone it looked as if she was just staring at her violin case. Un-aware of anyone or anything for that matter but what she was thinking was utter chaos. She hated remebering anything from the past. The pain the emotions would flood her and over whelm her. The walls she had since built and strengthened would come crumbiling down. years of self control would be ruined. All because of memories.

The Circe nodded, even several moments after her response had lead into silence. That was soon broken, not by words, but the quiet munching of the witch taking a bite of food. It seemed that their time of exchanging questions had come to an end for the moment. Allowing her gaze to drift from her Grimoire comrade, her gaze soon fell upon one of her original comrades: Lieselotte. The thought then occurred to Sakazuki that she had some questions for the puppeteer as she called out to the wielder of the marionette, beckoning for her to join them.
===

Taking note of Katsu’s growing comfort, it soon came to mind that it might be better to head off to take a bath now, before the lamb girl fell asleep. Thus, like a parent to his or her own weary child, Shuku rose to her feet, holding the small form to her as she abandoned her food for the time being. She would come back to it later… Besides, after some time of living alone, eating cold food came naturally to her. “Shall we go wash up before bed, Mei?” She inquired, asking whether or not the cowgirl would join the two of them. Katsu would probably behave better if the mistress was present.
===

Airi smiled slightly. It was always quite pleasant to have a happy childhood… After all, it was what happened at that point in life that always shaped out what manner of person someone would become. However… Another inquiry came to mind. If the girl did indeed have such a cheerful childhood, why was she here now? She was still, after all, a child. No responsible parent would let their own flesh and blood go out alone at such a tender age, even if she was perfectly capable of kicking the a** of any ***** that attempted to force himself onto her. She turned to face Alice, taking a momentary break from the cooking for several moments. “Where is your mother now?”
===

A similar feeling flowed through Menace as well. It was warm, like an invisible spirit, it coursed through her veins as if it was within her very blood. However, as she opened her eyes, she seemed to take notice of the fact that she really knew none of the basic techniques. Melona had taught her about hand seals, but wasn’t there a particular order that they had to follow? Her gaze fell upon the slime girl again, looking to her with a rather wanton expression. She still hungered for knowledge.
===

Watching as the girl squirmed there on the floor, desperately attempting to suck in fair amounts of air, Echidna realized that perhaps a break would be proper for now. After all, the conflict between them had been rather intense… Enough so, that most girls Honehime’s age would’ve probably crumpled down and started crying at this point… And yet, the Kaguya did not shed a single tear. Echidna stabbed her blade into the tree once more. “Time out,” she muttered quietly, granting her pupil several minutes to gather herself as she kneeled down beside Honehime, overlooking her current state. “How’re you holding out?”
===

Hearing the thump of Miku’s collision, Neru spared the girl a glance. “Are you alright?” It seemed that the blond had been so irritated as to go out of character as she stared at her friend for several moments as she continued along. She watched her for a moment before she briefly moved on to Haku as well, frowning slightly as well. At this point… All she really desired was a soft bed… Or not even that; just anywhere that she could lay her head down to rest.
===

V-13 spoke and Pan’s brow furrowed. Odd. The android’s sound card showed no real damage either… In fact, nothing really seemed out of place. Then again, Pan wasn’t exactly familiar with processors like this. However, if something was wrong, it would kind of… Stand out, wouldn’t it? That’s usually how it all worked. Yet now, there wasn’t even the slightest detail that suggested any immediate error. “You check out,” she soon murmured, soon giving up after the lack of anything obvious. She gripped V-13’s armor plate, then stared at it briefly before placing it upon the younger model.
===

Shouko smiled, mainly at the girl’s enthusiasm to keep going. After all, no hunt was fun when it was done by oneself. With that, she smiled, then made a leap for a particularly thick branch. Her judgment seemed to have been well made as despite the shaking of the tree limb, it supported her weight. She briefly looked over her shoulder as if to utter ‘Come on!’ to the winged tree spirit before she moved along her way, an obese monkey within a tree.

 Honehime heard the blessed chant of 'time out', and it had not come a moment to soon. Letting out a large sigh of relief, she fairly flopped down onto the sap not even worrying about how even more of the sticky stuff clung to her nearly nude body. She gasped slowly, as her lungs finally agreed to start working, to start supplying her body with oxygen once again. She rolled onto her back to look up at Echidna, smiling faintly, though it turned into an approximation of a wince. For a moment she didn't answer, but finally was able to take a deep enough breath to actually speak loud enough to hear. "I shall survive... at any rate. This is quite a bit... more difficult than I had thought." If that wasn't the understatement of the year! The training had been intense, and if either of them would have had a watch, they would have realized the two of them had only been training for a little over an hour. There were still plenty of more hours of sunlight to burn! (29119 words + 183 words = 29302 words) Lieselotte continued to study the grill for a while longer. It was simple, but a clever enough design. That alone put doubt into her mind on the possibility of it being Mei's handiwork. She knew that Mei wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but she also knew that she wasn't quite as dumb as she appeared to be. After all, she could successfully use alchemy, and that took specific knowledge. But even so, this didn't quite seem like something she might have made. Her mind returned to the possibility of bones. There existed no animal that had bones in precisely that shape and size. There were a few that could almost be considered close to it, but not close enough for her to consider as sources. Plus, those animals were all exceedingly rare, and none were within a thousand miles of this location. So no, that couldn't be the solution, either. What else could they be? She perked her head up when Sakazuki called out to her, and moved over to take a seat next to the two magic users. "Was zere somezing you needed?" (25407 words + 191 words = 25598 words) Katsu yawned, obviously feeling sleepy after her rather sizable meal. Nonetheless, she obediently, if sluggishly, let herself be moved up to wobble around uncertainly before staggering after Shuku toward their destination. Mei nodded at the invitation, a bath sounded marvelous! She quickly took a last bite of her meal, setting her dish down before managing to get to her feet. Her curves gave a series of generous jiggles as she got up, and continued to do so as she bounced after the Mayonaka and the tired little sheep girl. Seeing Katsu yawn made her yawn, too, even though she wasn't really all that tired. Oh, she could always do with a nap, but she wasn't actually tired. Just a little lazy, and fond of any excuse to sit back and take it easy. Perhaps it was the cow in her, content to just stand in one spot for long stretches of time, chewing it's cud, not really doing much of anything? Or maybe she was just a lazy person, perhaps. (32113 words + 173 words = 32286 words) Zenia forced herself to remain still, even as a rush of excitement ran through her. The group was splitting up! Could this be the time to strike? No, not yet. There was still an unfamiliar face inside of the camp's boundaries, she needed to get a little more information before she would commit to another attack. She was patient, she was in control. She ran those thoughts through her head several times before she felt herself calm down once more. She slowly let out a sigh, and prepared to continue watching and waiting, sure that the proper moment would eventually make it's appearance. She just had to stay alert, so that she could take advantage of it once it did appear. Yes, she could wait, as long as she needed to. If it meant getting a satisfying fight as a result, she would wait as long as she had to. She hadn't won against Sakazuki before, in her mind that meant she lost. She would have her revenge, and achieve victory against Sakazuki! (11990 words + 176 words = 12166 words) Melona had partially opened her eyes upon feeling ready to go into the second stage of trying to perform a technique. She had opened her eyes to see how Menace was faring, if she was getting the hang of it. She didn't look especially frustrated, that was a good sign. It meant she was probably at least able to feel her chakra. But she hadn't yet begun the handseals, so perhaps she didn't know the order? Now that she thought about it, she didn't think she had actually said the order. "Hmm, was it Horse, Tiger, Monkey, Ox?" She spoke that aloud, her hands slowly going through the signs as she spoke them aloud. She wasn't sure if that was the right pattern or not, but there was only one way to find out! She continued to have her hands cycle through the signs, over and over, faster and faster each time, until she felt confident enough to try it for real, fusing her chakra into the signs to hopefully make the technique work. (14670 words + 179 words = 14849 words) Alice paused for a long moment before she would finally answer Airi's question. Where was her mother now? It was a good question, she didn't have a real answer. Her family had been a good one, she had no doubts about that. But it had not been an ordinary family. Her father had been obsessed with power and fighting, constantly going out on training journeys, spending months in the mountains fighting bears and wild boar. Her mother, too, had not been an ordinary housewife. She was always a little mysterious. Oh, she was a perfectly loving mother, but once Alice became old enough to take care of herself, her mother returned to her own call in life. Alice had never been precisely sure of what it was, she just knew it was mysterious, and that her mother took it very seriously. She said as much to Airi, admitting that she didn't know just where her mother was, but that she knew she was taking the path she believed in, following the road she had set before herself. Perhaps that was why Alice was so driven? (15000 words + 190 words = 15190 words) Haku finally felt herself begin to calm down, once they began putting some distance between them and the others. Again, she didn't out and out dislike James or his friends, they were just new people, and that scared her. It put her on edge, and made her even more self conscious than usual. But now that it was just the three of them, she felt better. So she walked along behind Miku and Neru, enjoying the quiet stroll, before random fate intervened, as Miku walked right into a tree. Haku's eyes widened with worry, and she stepped forward, a hand stretched out as if to try to help, though the damage had already been done. "Are you... alright?" She hoped they were getting close to the hotel. Both because she could use some quiet time away from any possible interruptions, and also in case Miku needed to lay down or anything after her little accident. She looked on in worry, and hoped that Miku hadn't hurt herself too badly. (10679 words + 172 words = 10851 words) V-13 was still extraordinarily nervous about the whole inspection and repair, and it became more and more difficult to rein in her rogue RPMs each time they flared up. It began happening more and more often, and higher spikes as well. Soon, she began to grow worried that it might lead to a dangerous state where they would literally rotate so fast they spun right out of their casings, causing her to fall apart from within. There were safeguards against such unlikely occurrences, though she was a bit pessimistic about her own systems' efficiency in that regard. But finally, Pan seemed to declare that there were no visible problems, and after a moment of staring at her chest covering, finally replaced it. V-13 felt a large decrease in her anxiety, and slowly but surely, her waste heat was being reduced back to reasonably safe levels. her cheeks were still tinged a solid pink, though it was not the baleful red from the peak output of waste heat. Whatever had caused the reaction was seemingly reversing itself, at least partially. Odd, the sudden increase in errors, and then subsequent decrease, both seemed to coincide with Pan's examination. There were no flaws in how Pan had performed it, but it did seem connected to the errors somehow. (13183 words + 218 words = 13401 words) Etheldreda could feel that Sakazuki was done with questions for the moment, so she, too, returned to her meal. She chewed slowly on the mouthful of grilled meat she had taken, savoring the slightly smoky, charred flavor. Taste was a strong sense, especially to one who didn't always get to experience it. After all, she didn't really have a tongue in her Grimoire form, so her last meal had been well before she had been imprisoned in Hidden Twilight's Great Library. Of course, she didn't actually get hungry, or need food, but it was an enjoyable sensation. She looked up as Lieselotte returned to their side, wondering what Sakazuki wanted to talk to her about. She could feel a sense of curiosity from Sakazuki, enough to know that she wanted to ask the puppet user something, but the bond wasn't developed enough to tell anything more than that. She would find out soon enough, though. (6191 words + 160 words = 6351 words) Dizzy, though not as capable as Shouko, was just as enthusiastic about the hunt. She managed to squirm up onto the next branch, then from there she was fortunate in that there was a nearby branch that even she could manage to hop to. Of course, she flapped her wings in a bit of a panic as she did so, but she still managed to clear the admittedly small jump under her own power. She was gaining confidence with each step, though she was still pretty nervous over all. She didn't think the great tree would let them fall, but she was still worried about what would happen if they did manage to fall anyways. It may not have actually been a huge distance to the ground, but she felt fairly sure that the distance was quite sufficient to make their landing painful, and final. So she remained wary, as well as continuing to look around, for any signs of the mushrooms. (6327 words + 163 words = 6490 words)
