Arielle and Meimei shared a worried look. "Sweetheart," Meimei started, "do you remember last night at all?"
Arielle was very worried. This did not bode well at all...

Akira stared at them blankly for a moment, concentrating.
Then she replied, shaking her head, "No, I don't...But umm...If you don't mind me asking, who are you people? And who's the lucky person to own this cat?" She laughed nervously and said, "Err...I know this sounds stupid, but what's my name anyways..?"
Kilala just stared at her master in disbelief, tears threatening to fall.
"Dammit all!!! I knew something horrible was going to happen!! Why didn't anybody help her snap out of it!? This wouldn't of happened if somebody had sooner!!!" the feline cursed mentally loud enough for everybody to hear and buried her face into Akira's stomach.

Altan rubbed up against Kilala, trying to calm her down. He murmured some words in ancient Egyptian. (He was a sphinx, after all.) Arielle looked at Akira in despair. "Your name... your name is Akira Riiva," she said. "You're at Bai Ching School for Girls, and I am your Headmistress, Arielle Krause. This is the nurse, Meimei." Her voice was somewhat strained.
Meimei sighed unhappily. "Amnesia. Oh, you poor dear!"

"Oh. Cool name, doesn't ring a bell though...And I'm sorry?" Was all Akira said. She felt lost and guilty for some unknown reason, a small blush visible on her cheeks.
Kilala just sighed and cuddled to Altan, feeling more helpless than ever before. How the heck was she suppose to jog the girl's memory!?
"...I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but...How old am I? And I don't think I'm Human since..." Akira asked and poked one of her dog ears, slightly startled when it twitched.

There weren't that many people in the cafeteria, so Nik's groan could easily be heard. She looked over her shoulder and tried not to laugh. His face looked so sad that it was nearly comical. She then turned back to Evermore, who was currently worrying her. Still, Ari remembered her rather tasteless comments from the previous day. "Er, right," she said to Evermore, biting her lip. "I'm done eating, so..." she said with a small smile, "I'll see you around!" She got up and disposed of her trash appropriately, and then walked up behind Nik, tapping him on the shoulder. "That was a very sad sound for so early in the day," she said, tilting her head curiously to the side.

His eyes remained focused forward on his bent arms, almost appearing as if he didn't know Ari was there. "I can't get to the cafe, I've pissed off an entire populace of people, and I there ain't a cup of java to be found in this God forsaken place. It's enough to drive a man to drink." He said sighing pathetically as his phone got another text, and this time it was much more pleasant and from his good friend Victor. All he wanted to know was where he was at and if he'd be coming in. Nik was honest and told him he was trapped up at the school. It seems he would be taking care of the cafe, in exchange for free coffee anytime. That was a minor compensation in Nik's opinion, but he jumped at the opportunity. "But perhaps there's hope yet." Then he looked over at where Ari had come from and saw Evermore sitting alone at a table looking slightly distracted and away from what was around her. "What's up with her Highness over there?"

"Poor baby," Ari joked, and then sighed. "I solved the no-coffee dilemma a while ago. I just went off campus to the market and bought coffee and a coffee maker. They're up in my room now. I can summon them if you like, but no promises. I'm not terribly gifted when it comes to spells! As for Evermore..." she said, seating herself, "I can't really tell. She's usually absorbed with her own personal dilemmas. Something involving either a. Ares, b. Herself, or c. her mission she's been shirking."

If he had the ears of a canine, they would have been perked up straight as a ramrod at her mention of the glorious liquid being in her possession. Still, he kept his cool and responded just as so. "That would be heavenly my dear, and no worries, you carry my magic within your blood. As if it could ever fail at such a task." He said winking at her then standing up at his enormous full height. "Mission you say? I in none of my beings knew of this little detail. What is this mission pray tell?" He was genuinely curious, but not for reasons concerned with Ever. Nik wanted to know what was inside her mind, to perhaps better understand what was going on inside it.

"Alright, alright! Keep your pants on," she muttered, closing her eyes. She could picture her beloved coffee quite clearly, and could feel her ceramic mug in her hand. Ari bit her lip in concentration, letting Nik's magic flood her system. Her hand twitched.... and then she felt the warmth. "Yes!" she cried, handing him the mug, "Voila! Coffee." She felt quite accomplished. "As to her mission... I'm not sure exactly, but it has to do with a Relic. I don't think she's been keeping up on it... or not trying hard enough.. I can't exactly remember. Aphrodite told me," she explained.

Caroline, yawning, walked into the cafeteria of Bai Ching to get breakfast. The whole place felt different to her today. There was all sorts of crazy magic floating around. The girl stretched, and mindlessly walked by Ari and Nik before blinking, and tracing her steps backwards.
"Hey... did something happen yesterday?" she asked. "Something feels different around here."

Arielle almost collapsed into the chair, feeling like a complete failure. Things like this... Things like this never happened at her school! Maybe at that idiot Ialo's Mystic Fountain, but never at Bai Ching! She buried her head in her hands.
Meimei put a comforting hand onto the Headmistress' back and then answered all Akira's questions. "Don't worry, sweetcakes. You're sixteen, and no, you're not human..." She proceeded to explain to Akira just what she was, being sure to be kind and gentle about it.
Altan did his best to comfort Kilala.

Ever wasn't stupid or blind. She could obviously see Nik and Ari staring at her. She actually felt sorry for Ari. How many times would that girl have to get rejected before she moved on? She was quite obsessed over Nik, and that was a little frightening. She had remembered a few girls at Bai Ching becoming obsessed with men in the village, much the way Ari was consumed with Nik, and it never ended up well. Either the man in the village ended up filing a restraining order or the girl went nuts and fully stalked them, getting kicked out of Bai Ching in the process for missing so many classes.
Ever stood up, gathered her dishes and Raven's, and then disposed of the tray with the dishes on it properly. Raven flew to rest on her shoulder and Ever went over to where Ari and Nik were sitting. She crossed her arms over her chest and scowled.
"If you two are going to keep looking at me, I think I deserve the right to know why. Why do you keep looking at me?"

Nik sipped calmly at the newly phased in coffee, glad he wouldn't be going without for a while without. He was slightly curious about this mission, but not enough to investigate himself about it. "Well, perhaps we'll know at some point. For now I have my own problems. Like trying to figure out how to get out of here and back to my cafe. Moving plans are still possibly in my agenda." It was true he would like to stay here at the school with Ari, but he still needed to get away, to have a break from everything. He was a creature that does not settle permanently.
When Caroline came over Nik did not remove himself from the mug at his lips for a few moments. When he finally did he had a somewhat distant look on his face. "You missed a helluva lot yesterday. There was an epic battle, death of an army, and the rejoining of my two souls into one. Man what a heavy sleeper you are." He said chuckling, finally looking up at the dragon girl. Nik could understand the whole sensation of "different."
His expression turned sour when Evermore walked over, but he didn't let it show for too long. So she wanted to know something anyone would want to know, fair enough. Saying she deserved to be told exactly what she wanted after the way she spoke to him yesterday, not so fair. But he'd tell her anyway, Nik wasn't much for being cynical, and he sure as Hell didn't want to drag out another dispute. "And I think I deserve to know why you so thoroughly hate me, but things don't always go our way." He said cracking a slight smile to himself, laughing at his own humor. So maybe he was a little cynical, but who wouldn't be after his life? "I noticed your distracted look and was curious as to what was on your mind. My gaze rested upon you for only seven seconds at most." He then took another sip of coffee, still not looking at the Grecian.

Ever smirked herself. Touche. If she wanted information, then she should have to explain why she disliked Nik so much. She thought she had explained it quite well yesterday outside of the school, but she had no problems explaining it again.
She took a chair, turned it around so that the back of it was facing Nik, and she straddled it. She rested her forearms on the back of the chair. She was glad that she had decided to wear her school pants today instead of the skirt.
"Touche. As I said yesterday, I liked Musica a lot better than what I've seen of you so far, and I didn't even like him that much to begin with. So, that should tell you a lot. He was real. You took him over. You seem like a flirty, fake suck-up to me. In fact, you remind me a lot of my family. Perhaps the Norse gods aren't as different from the Greek gods as everyone would like to think they are."
She cocked her head to the side. "So what have you decided? What is your theory as to why I apparently seemed distracted?"

Nik was examining his nails as Ever spoke about her supposed reason she hated him. It was the most childlike reason he'd ever heard in his life. The best way Nik could understand it was that he had taken her toy away from her, and she was pouting like a toddler. Most of what she said went in his ear and out the other, because all the while he was seeing all the grimy dirt caked up in his nails. How disgusting. He took out a pocket knife and flicked out the blade, trying to remove the filth from his nails.
Registering that she was waiting for his response to her last question he paused momentarily. "Boy problems, least that's what most girls your age have on their mind."
