Kin glanced in the direction of Raidek and sniffed at the air. They both reek of blood. Kin thought to himself then looked over at minatsuki who appeared to have finally woken up from her long snooze.
Kin scowled.
Vix pointed out.

Tura rose, she had been watching the stranger through magesight as soon as the alert barrier had been crossed. Vilya made a face. "Too soon." She wanted to send him away, but she resigned herself to the fact that it was not really her decision. Without another word she busied herself with fetching food for the newly recovered combatant. She uncovered the bowl of stew that had been saved for Minatsuki and took a spoon from the pack. "Calfacere alimente" The heating spell worked instantly and Vilya handed the bowl of steaming food to Minatsuki.
Tura stretched in response, arching her back like an over-sized cat and spreading each wing in turn. She shook herself finally and began preening. "Do you think you are strong enough to travel Minatsuki?" Vilya turned her attention elsewhere.

Taking the food graciously, Minatsuki sip the soup, tasting it.
"Damn, this is good. Oh, yeah, don't worry about me."
With the free hand, Minatsuki ripped off the bandages around her shoulder effortlessly, reveiling her already half healed wounds.
"I heal faster than normal."
She flashed Vilya her innocent smile, before realizing she had no idea who the person feeding her was.
"... By the way, who are you?"
Asako raised her eyebrow, letting out a tired sigh.

Vilya laughed, glad to see that her patient was perfectly fine. "You sure don't beat around the bush. I'm Vilya." She held out a gloved hand. "The antisocial one is Tura. Tura yawned and looked their way in acknowledgment.

Not entirely comfortable with the way that Vilya was reacting to their new 'ally' Sai held his staff back for Stratus. Stratus took the offered staff in one 'hand' and held it rested against the ground, much the same way that Sai would when traveling. Sai let his right hand drop down next to the hilt of his sword where it protruded from its sheathe at the back of his waist and slightly over his right hip.
"You stay right there." Sai warned the stranger in their camp. "Vilya, Kin, could I speak with the two of you."

"Yeah, Sai?" Kin replied and gave a glance in his direction.
(( So sorry, I have to goes... Plus responding to Sai was pretty much the goal of my post but sorry for the one liner. -.-))

"In private, Kin, come over here. You too, Vilya." Sai said. His hand still rested casually near the hilt of his blade. His posture remained relaxed, which would give him fluidity of movements should he need to react quickly to the stranger in their midst.

Vilya obliged silently.
"I don't like it." was her first statement when she reached the others. "But what is the alternative? I have a feeling he isn't just going to accept a refusal and be on his merry way." She paused for a moment, crossing her arms seriously. "I think it's either keep him in our sights, or hope he doesn't ambush us again."
Tura did as she was bade and watched the strangers, looking them over with an expression that betrayed none of her thoughts. Her deep violet eyes moved slowly from wolf to man and back. Seeming to come to some conclusion she apparently lost interest, gathering up the leather pack and harness and carefully fastening it around her body. Her talons, although big worked almost like human hands, moving effortlessly over the clips and buckles. When she had finished she stood and spread her dark wings, they caught the sunlight reflecting an explosion of metallic purples and blues. Folding them carefully again she looked back to Vilya.

"The alternative is that you were able to fight him evenly last night, and we outnumber him eight to two. If we agreed that we did not wish for him to join our party then there is no way that he could assert the decision on us. As for keeping him within our sights, I think if he were to join us it would be a simple matter to double-cross in our sleep even if we were to keep a guard." Sai said to both of his allies before turning to face Kin directly. "What say you, Kin?"

Kin was silent for a moment. Is he testing me? Killing two birds with one stone? If I say get rid of him, he will assume the worst of me. If I say stay then he will have to worry about him more then me. Even though I hate the man, I guess he could be useful for the time being. "I say he could be of some use now. Just lay out some rules and make him after to do some daily camp work." Kin suggested and folded his arms.
another bound creature and is using this one to distract us. But I doubt that.> Kin thought to Vix.
"What about Minatsuki? She should have a say in this." Kin asked Sai and Vilya as if to draw attention away from what he just said, pointing towards the girl chowing down on her food.

"You are right, I guess I was being absentminded." Sai said to Kin. "Minatsuki, Could you join us for a moment, please?" Sai called to her turning his back on the man at the same time.
Stratus said to him inside his mind while still keeping his own eyes locked firmly on the stranger.
Stratus agreed, though sounded somewhat dissatisfied nonetheless.

An idea came to Vilya. "Let him accept an attack prevention spell then." She said simply. "A spell cast on him that will keep him from attacking those who are shown to the spell on casting." She had read of the spell in one of the libraries along their journey north and asked Tura to explain it. The spell was cast on one being and, once the spell was in place, the energies of the people this being was not to harm would be shown to it. That finished, every time the being under the spell attempted to do harm to one of those people, he would be physically incapable of doing so. "Normally the spell is hard to cast, that's because you need to fight the will of the person and overcome it, but if he accepts the spell it should be easy." Tura, as Vilya well knew was adept at mind magic. "It'll be at least three days before the spell weakens enough for him to break it himself. What do you think?"
((The three days thing is not a law, it totally depends on the strength of your character. But don't consider him strong enough to break it right away, there's no fun in that. See what you can do with it cast. Here I am testing your creativity. Yay, Nay?))

Walking over to the group, Minatsuki finished her food and gave Vilya back the bowel. Raising her eyebrow at what she had just heard, Minatsuki eyed Raidek, and turned back at the group.
"Depending on magic gets you nowhere."
<... Or you're too trusting, Mina-chan. They are all combatants, afterall.>
Minatsuki rested her hands on her hips and frowned slightly. Looking back at Raidek once again, she sighed.
"One more person in the group is not going to make much difference. If we are all going in same direction, might as well travel together. For whatever reason you don't want to, then by all means head your own way."
Turning to Vilya, Minatsuki pointed at the shirt that she was in.
"By the way, do you want this back?"

"I've never heard of a spell able to do something like that, it sounds extremely difficult. It does sound like it would be a good idea to be able to prevent somebody from hurting us. However, he might be angry and resentful if we were to cast it on him and then attack us out of spite after the spell breaks or wears off. I say we should ask him to submit to the spell and should he agree we'll take it as a sign of trust and allow him into our group without bothering with casting spells on him." Sai said.

Vilya did not like it, but kept her opinion to herself. "If...you think it is sufficient." She nodded. Tura growled softly in her mind. "I'll go deal with the villains we stopped earlier last night." With that she held a hand up to Tura, who fell beside her with a few graceful steps.
Tura looked down at the pathetic forms bound from hip to shoulder. Vilya smiled at the gryphon,
((I found a pic that is not far off from what Vilya looks like, here;
Vilya...sort of. ))
