"Well, that's a fact and you still need to rest regardless. I can get the things we need, but you can't be running around. Don't make me rot your feet off to keep you in one place." Ah loving threats. But her attention turned to Kaznec as he came over to them. "Someplace for her to rest that's not around a lot of others would be nice. She needs to recoup her energies from her runics."
She sighed, hated it when she messed up. It didn't help that she never really saw him as the commanding officer. "She, right." Watching him go off and play commander indeed. "Exciting for you I know." Before turning a look to Caden, giving him a nod, and then turning away and taking to walking once more to the tower, might as well leave him to his job since he was busy. Though yes she did trip again on her way there. Soon enough she was knocking on his door and being pulled in. "You wanted to see me Lord Lycear?"
"Yes, and you brought everything I requested I hope. Might as well let the Laerethe know where we've looked and such. You make the best maps and know how to approach things around here. They need to be as prepared as possible."
"Understandable." Pulling out a roll of parchment from her satchel and laying it out on the desk for him. "Is it true that there's a Laerethe about?"
He gave her a long look as if he didn't want to answer it. "Yes. But that's not up for discussion." Unrolling and looking at things. "Are these current? If they're not at least three months, I may want you to do a fly by...I'd go with you for safety's sake." Even in her dragon form...they all knew seh was still clumsy.

"Always taking care of me, aren't you?" A shake of her head and she released Savvy and sank back down to the pavement. "Go on, I'll be fine. Between Kaznec and Kronos, someone will get me to where I need to be." She turned her head and gave Kaznec a sunny smile that didn't reach her eyes. "Sorry for my untidy appearance Lord Kaznec. But if one of you could just lend me a shoulder once my friend makes sure the inn is still open, I'd appreciate it. I need a bath and some time to rest." Had her nose stopped bleeding? It felt like it but she was never sure. Runic bursts were rather random at times.

It had been a while since had Kronos had seen the lord in person, and he very much doubted that he would be remembered, as much more then a ruffian who liked to see mess with his troops. "Nice, to see you again Lord." he said with a bit of a nervous laugh. "No need to worry, I'll help her out." he said as he helped Shyrae to her feet.

Golden eyes turned from Shyrae to the other elf, then he nodded in agreement. "That does seem to be the wisest choice as of now. And actually, I am here to offer the comforts and luxuries of my own home to you both. Both my father and I are deeply sorry for the... injustices we caused you before and would like to offer you some sort of compensation." Looking down to Shyrae, he returned a smile of sorts. "If you accept, I can take you to my home and return to aid your friend in her errands." Though he did turn eyes upon the newcomer then, acknowledging him with a nod. "I thank you for your healing efforts earlier, Kronos. It has been a while hasn't it?"

We she sensing a brush off? Savryn merely shook her head and crossed her arms lightly, but a slight inclination of her head over to Kaznec has he made a reappearance. "Opening your own home to us? My my, the compensation for being wrongfully imprisoned and accused are quite something around here." As much as she may not want to...well Hunter had all her gold, and you should never turn down free room and board. "Sounds acceptable enough...Shyrae?"

She really was grateful for the help, it just sucked to have to need it. Her sister would have been able to heal the man without a problem, either one of them in fact. Her brother would have merely put him out of his misery, and her parents, forces combined, could have rendered miracles. Hell, between them they probably could have stopped the building from falling. Assisted to her feet, her knees went weak and she leaned a little more weight than she wanted to against Kronos, nearly falling against him. "That's fine with me. Thank you Lord Kaznec."

Kronos smiled as he felt Shyrae fall against him, holding her up he looked towards Lord Kaznec. "Well, as much as I would love to stand here and chat with a beautiful lady hanging of my shoulders, I think what she needs is a good rest. Mind leading the way. I'm more familiar with the dungeons that your home." Making fun of the fact, that he had been arrested several times for causing a ruckus once or twice while intoxicated with a group of Guards. "After you my scaly liege." Kronos bowed his head, and waved his arm, in a mock bow."And it has been a while, you know Caden asked me to join your guards, earlier?" he laughed.

"I shall return for you later then, lady elf." Though she was blind, he sensed that she could maneuver herself quite capably. Turning back to Kronos, he gave the man a good once over and then moved to lift Shyrae into his own arms effortlessly. "I don't think hanging proves to be very comfortable for her, but yes, if you insist on following me to my humble abode." Turning from the square, he proceeded towards the small streets carved out of the rocky structure of the mountain. Why was the human here again? Oh yes, to chat... Which meant that Kaz could not fly home like he wanted to. How constrained humans were at times. "Did he now? He is not familiar with the way you work, I suppose."

The dragon was really starting to get under his skin. It was obvious that Kaznec didn't want him around, and Kaznec preferred to take to the sky. "It's obvious that you have everything under control, if you don't mind Lord I'll take my leave. I think at this point I'm going to be more of a burden then anything else. It was nice meeting you Shyrae, take care." he said with a wave as he made his way back to the center of the city.
Once he was well out of earshot of the Dragon Lord, "Lord high and mighty, someone should knock his scally hide down a few pegs." he said kicking lightly at the dirt under his foot.

She had not a single chance to protest, which meant she was pretty much stuck. "Thank you Kronos, for everything." It was pointless to offer anything to him since she had nothing to give. Perhaps she could ask if he had any animals he needed trained? No, that sounded silly as well. Thus she settled for a weak wave and let Kaznec do what he wished. "Caden seems to be the rash sort...doesn't always think his thoughts or actions through." She colored immediately after saying so though her skin was dark enough to hide it and shook her head. "I'm sorry...I shouldn't say things like that."

Sensitive to anger, Kaz noticed it immediately in Kronos and blinked in confusion when the human decided to take his leave. Burden? Perhaps he did not understand the immediate need to get Shyrae proper care and thought that Kaz's action dictated inferiority. Kaz meant no such thing though but merely called out after him. "Don't get into too much trouble." Turning a corner then, he took to the skies again, flying purposefully steadier. "You have the right to your thoughts, I don't think any less of you for sharing them. Raynes has not been with the Guard for a very long time, perhaps I have been too lax on their training in the recent years."

"I really can't judge, I don't know much about training humans. I do know that when I train dogs or horses, rash behavior earns them a scolding. I need them to perform in predictable ways so that I can control their behavior to a point. For one of my dogs to randomly bite someone, this calls badly on the training that I have given him because he did not have a direct command to go do so. Unless he had ample reason. If he's been trained to protect and someone is upsetting or hurting his charge, then he has full rights to do whatever he wishes to the person."

"Your logic is sound and I agree completely. Although humans are much different to deal with. Too harsh a punishment deteriorates their self-esteem and then it spreads like a disease through the Guards. Raynes is single-minded at times but he is very loyal to the city and as such, sometimes he acts without thinking it over." Beating his wings one last time, he landed on the rocky terrace and walked into his home, heading straight for one of the guest rooms. "The door right there joins this room to the next, your friend can stay in there." He set her down on the bed and moved about to make sure everything was in order before turning back. "Is there anything you need?"

She was rather pleased to hear that her thoughts were lining up somewhat with his, but it was true dogs and humans were very different. She respected that humans had minds of their own just like dogs did though dogs were easier to control at times. When he set her down, she couldn't help but lean up slightly. "I'm impressed, Lord Kaznec. Not once have you commented on my disgusting appearance." A shake of her head and she plopped back down. "When I come back from reverie, I'll want a bath but I can handle that myself once I recharge a little. Other than that...if you could keep an eye on Savvy, I would appreciate it."

Giving a good look at her aforementioned appearance now, he picked out a clump of dried blood from her hair. "A part of it was caused by me, after all. I will make sure the staff clean your sheets again before nightfall." A nod and then a surprised expression. "Her name is Savvy? But of course, I will return to the square now and help her, then bring her back here. You rest." He walked out of the room and talked to a maid in a low voice, then left the building once again for the sky.
