Hey everybody! Today is my Birthday! Just thought I would let you all know.... You know I think this is the first time I have ever posted in this thread.
Oh and AMP about your stalker, who calls you at work. If it's not really your wife you are talking about then how the h**l did she get your work number?

I've been sick, recently, and not too up to doing the battle calculations I needed to do. Luckly I'm feeling better! My quest and minigame are now back on track! And if anyone wishes to join Area 72 to replace Kail, Daustua, and Petra please post your stats in Area 72! ^_^
Happy late birthday Firu! ^_^
Well...I think we need to somehow keep this guild back alive while the millitary guys are away. *Thinks* Anyone got an idea!?!
O_O I just noticed a mistake with my stats, actually Luljeta's stats. She should have no combat dice. Here is what it currently reads:
Summoner (5): Luljeta: A: 0 D: 0 C: 1d6 (2) M: 0 L: 30 (6) E: 0 Heal x2, angel's touch x3
Here is what it should be (Unless there was a special reason my summon had a combat dice score of 2 when I didn't put that there?):
Summoner (5): Luljeta: A: 0 D: 0 C: 0 M: 0 L: 30 (6) E: 0 Heal x2, angel's touch x3

Well atleast your doodling people... All I could think of this week was an 'eye heart undead' shirt design.
Which would be pretty cool if I could make it...
Anyways... I've been thinking: Where would you buy some kind of D&D basic starter pack if you don't have a Wizards of the West Coast nearbye... I've been itching to play an neutral chaotic undead controlling cleric with -insert random eccentric character flaw-

the basic D&D starter box is avalible at any toys r us location.
It's in the boardgame section. it comes with a starter manual, though i would suggest getting the full books, which you should be able to find at any gaming/comic shop. the three books you should really get are the Players handbook, Dungeon Masters guide, and the Monster manual.
Just as a note though, if you wait untill the end of april, the new D&D 4th edition is being released, so they will not be making new material for the old 3.5 system anymore.
It might be better to wait, plus it'll give you time to save up the money for the books, since they are $35 a piece.

Wow, thats alot for a book for a board game...
I guess I'd just wait. I'd hate to buy something just to replace it later on anyways...

Now, if you just want the rules, then thats a different story completely. All of the actual game mechanics are FREE TO THE PUBLIC with the Wizards of the coast SRD (system referance document). The only thing it doesn't have are the XP table, so you kinda have to "invent one" yourself. you can download indavidual pieces or the whole thing. CLICK HERE TO GO THERE FOR YOURSELF AND SEE

Out of pure question: What are rules? I mean, don't you just need game mechanics, paper, pen, and such?

um.. yeah, but the books are nicly colored and have lots of "Fluff" and extra discriptions to explain things in greater detail.
Though technically, all you need to play are in the SRD, so play away friend!
I can run an online game for you if you like smile
