Then we have all of these places outside the stadium where anything even remotely social can take place.
So people can go the hell home and not be in the stadium 24/7 which makes little sense. Because I'm sure your characters have lives outside the stadium. Or at least I hope they do.

Concerning "these places outside the stadium":
1. Will the merchant's ring, i.e. its shops/cafes then kinda transfered to a village next to the stadium?
2. What about "off-topic"-rp threads like Maximos' "Back down the rabbit hole"? Will they be accepted once the "new age" has come?
Just asking cause I planned to open such a spin-off thread about Lucind's story which shall also deal with stadium plots (such as Maximos' parting), but geographically it's not near the stadium.
Enki said I should just go on with it - but I'm not sure about it. Maybe all mods should decide about those special threads...

Something else:
What if "Leviathan Stadium" would be turned into an animation series?
Most likey, that will never happen but I like to imagine the character design, storyline etc.
And: I imagined an opening scene cause I found a track which would perfectly fit, in my opinion^_~
CD: Kingdom of heaven OST
Track: No. 15 - Wall breached (but only the first 1 1/2 min. of it)
You can find a sample of it on amazon but of course it's better if you get the complete track - if you're intrerested in my little fantasy at all whee
Short script of "Leviathan Stadium" opening:
- few seconds before the initial four drum beats, we see the stadium diagonally from above -> you see the whole building with its front gates, not the stands; sun shines bright, sky's blue, a slow wind goes
- then the imaginary camera zooms with high speed onto the gates, bg at the screen's border blurring
- right in front of the gates - you're now at eye-level to them - the camera slows down, the main gates open: Ra-ta-ta-tamm (theme starts)
- you get a short glimpse of the main corridor and, in the distant, the entrance to the stadium, illuminated by the sunshine outside
- you see Enki, sitting in the stands - zoom, half body-shot - he turns his head around to look at you, seriously but with a smile on his lips
- [sec. 5] Ta-tam (double drum beat): the gates behind you close, light's cut off
- now you alternately see short scenes of the main characters in their daily stadium life (stands, lobby, infirmary, merchant's ring etc., no fight-scenes yet) - and how you're walking through the dark main corridor and getting closer to the arena entrance
- [00:31] flourish, high violin and choire part start: you've entered the arena, camera gives a slow, almost 180°swing up onto the (crowded) stands, as if you're standing down there and watching in awe
- again: short scenes of main characters, now also (slow-motion) training/fighting scenes, no dark stuff yet
- [00:54] song changes into the "battle" rythm; right at this second, two colliding weapons (blade, staff or else) are shown [edit: such like in the little HoH advertising animation^^]
- now a sequence of action/emotional scenes follows: training fights, drama scenes (someone's crying, screaming, getting injured), fights against "bad boys", character transformation, character rushing to help their friends - all's getting more and more critical, until...
- [1:09] final drum beat: you're directly facing a raging Enki, slashing his naginata parallel to the ground, as if slicing you
- silence; your hovering directly above the stadium, looking down into the empty stands and onto the merchant's ring; a gentle wind blows up some petals
- camera's rising up, same looking down angle, you see the stadium getting smaller and smaller
- camera swings around, you're looking up into the sky and see the death match ring, quick zoom
- you're rushing up until you're passing the death match ring, then the sky ring - camera stops
- you see Enki (or Kraun, that'd fit for now) diagonally from behind, standing at the brink, coat and hair waving in the wind, he's staring down to a point in the distance, camera circles him, you see the flying petals passing him
- opening ends at 1:36
