some interesting news... I attended a conference on potty training for special needs kids tonight... I have this eight page guide with lots of step by step stages and directions for each stage on how to go about it.. and this lady specializes in mental health adn psychological disorders.. and works with a lot of parents needing potty training. Since naaman has next week off of school, I"m gonna get started running him through it.
oohh i should get a hold of something like that ..ill need it eventually 3nodding

That sounds really kool, is anything wrong with Ben? (Sorry I haven't looked through the whole thread.) If it is..then well done to him.

And Late happy V-day to everyone! heart

My brother had that ages ago when he was younger. It really makes them feel down. What I did with Phill was to get him to do something, like play...we watched Sonic together, Thomos and all that kind of stuff. He got better within a week. Heh, hope he gets better soon.

Mystery infection? eek It sounds scary.

Robert has such horrible post-nasal drip that he gets stripes down the back of his throat. xp Outside of medicine, I run a vaporizer in the boys' room and sometimes use scented oils like Eucalyptis, Blue Lavendar or a blend to help him have something pleasant to smell as he falls asleep. Sometimes we dab some vaseline under his nose if it's irritated. He has a sinus rinse that he hates to use. We used to use a basic saline spray for dryness, but it was never enough. Do you do anything special to help Eric when he's not feeling well? 3nodding I hope he feels better soon.

My foster sister, Shyanne, is a drug baby. She is three now. Shy is small for her age, and it took her till age two to learn how to walk. She still has issues with running, zippers and silverware. Her eyes also have trouble focusing, so she has super-thick new glasses.

eek Wow, I've never heard the term "drug baby" before...ahem, anyways. I think that's great someone is taking care of her.

My little brother has severe eczema, he's had allergy shots the whole works, etc. Actually, my dad got this Rx from China, from when he was over there a few months ago, he pays good money, but it works awesomely.

How is everyone's little ones doing? How are YOU doing Mommas?

We're doing pretty well, actually. 3nodding Robert is going to represent his class in the spelling bee. We have school vacation this week. Emme is doing so much better - her moods still change but they are a lot less extreme. James is still working on writing his name in the right direction (right to left rather than backwards).

I had a mammogram this week and I'm waiting to get the results back from my doctor since the technicians at the hospital couldn't tell me anything. Bah! stressed

So, I just survived my first Gaian Ball. I wasn't really sure what to expect but I did notice that I kept getting logged out. Did anyone else attend? Are most of the special events like that, with high traffic?
