"Hey you may be waisting my slicing talents but at least my superior driving skills are put to good use," Koth replied. "By the way, how much money did you make?" he added.

"I was only able to grab about twelve and a half k before the blaster bolts came flying at me," Ral said as his smirk faded a little. With a shrug, Ral continued, "I never understand why everyone get's so mad when I beat them while they're cheating. So did anything happen up front?"

"Well we are now the proud owners of a Mr. Merv Skaal's fortune. Trandoshan made me move from my seat so I decided that he should pay me for the kindness. Apparently the Trandoshan had a good bit of credits stashed in the bank, about 30k. Suprised me because I didn't think Trandoshan's were smart enough to keep bank accounts. Well, all's well that end's well I guess," Koth replied.

Ral laughed when he heard that. "You know most people would get over having to move form their seat. Still that's not too bad of a haul, especially from a Trandoshan. Still not enough though." Ral said as the lights from Paradise City started to fade into the background.

"I am not most people. So what's on the agenda now?" the Bothan asked as they came upon the hangar that housed the Lovely Angel outside of the city.

"After that little escapade I'd prefer to get off planet for few days. The problem is that there really isn't any smuggling job that I like that will pay enough for my time," Ral said as he got out of the custom speeder. "The tournament's coming up pretty soon so I don't have much time to round the rest of the credits. I think I'm going to check the Merchants' Guild and see if they need anything shipped. Plus a small vacation from illicit deals couldn't hurt."

"Anything is good with me right now. Getting off world for a while would be a good change of pace. Hopefully we can get a deal with the Merchant's guild, it would be nice to pocket a few more credits."

((Are there any GLF personnel still in the base? I'm getting ready to blow this joint.))

Kusei Maki watched as the last of the GLF troops were rounded up by Imperial Plaguetroopers and Stormtroopers. The Battle had lasted less then an hour, but despite the stunning speed of the Imperial Attack large portions of the enemy's garrison had escaped. Kusei knew that Borill wouldn't be pleased with the result of the attack, she'd served with him long enough to know that. Still the results had little to do with failure by the Empire, the GLF just ran that much faster.

Glancing at the massive archive of data that was before her she sighed, at least the enemy hadn't been able to wipe the records, they'd ran fast but hadn't expected her to sneak in and an plug in, at least until it was too late. That AI which had tried to wipe the records had been first class, and might have slipped past a rookie slicer, but Kusei was no rookie.

The amount of material was massive and would contain lists of other bases probably, but they'd only be listed in code words and their locations hidden. But there were other ways of finding the rebels Kusei remember as the data download completed.

Now to set to work setting the place to destroy itself.

Jaden and the troopers feld the tunnels, escaping into the wild and then sent a message back up, "Somebody get me and my men a shuttle back to the Pillar," he said.

A small shuttle exited hyperspace elsewhere in the core, veering off from the hyperspace lane. The shuttle and its five crew all let out a deep breath, they had just survived the destruction of the GLF base. Escaping before the hanger had been caved, the small vessel had easily slipped to the dark-side of the planet and shot space ward.

Garus turned in his pilots chair and stood up, making his way towards the back of the shuttle, patting Drecks on the shoulder.

"We've made it."The jedi said to the rest of the commandos. He offered a slight smile before letting himself fall into a seat.

"One hell of a day..." He said before relaxing into the seat.

The shower was hot and refreshing Revak thought as he stepped out and pulled on some undergarments and a jumpsuit, finding a tailor capable of making clothes for him had been something of a b***h. Revak snorted, he might be able to build starships and fashion weapons from nothing but a double fist full of elements but that apparently had no bearing whatsoever on the ability to sew clothing, that was work that had been reserved for females on Rapor, and Calra was just as clueless as he was.

With a sneeze Revak ejected the last doplets of moisture from his nasal cavity and dropped the towel onto the bench. Calra was still showering so he headed off to the turbolift and punched the button for transit to the starship hanger. With a whine the turbolift shot to the destination and slowed before opening its doors.

Outside the double doors was Revak's pet project, the summation of four years of continual work. Forging the hanger and base facilities had been partly his doing it was true, but the expertise of the former slaves had proven to be the primary force behind the base. They'd known how to fashion a palace and build a pirate base piece by piece, many of them had been sold to pirates on occasion, and now they had a chance to enjoy the fruits of such labor. Revak's skills had just proven to be an augmentation of their talents.

No, the vessel that was just a few days from completion that stood before Revak was his work. The Ion Dragon a vessel that's technology and design were a clearly a result of lessons that Revak and Calra had learned in the known galaxy. It's wings were decorated with an ancient tribal dragon once used by the Rapora to adorn their homes and battle banners, it's wingtips and skull like prow were splashed with red like the bloodied muzzle of some predator.

Everything on the vessel was meant either to deal death, paralyze a victim or inspire terror. With a clicking sound Revak's killing claw began to tapp excitedly, "By the time Jenel Olo returns she'll be ready, and we'll have a new toy to make the Hutts cringe and run for cover."

Within the restored remains of an ancient Sith Academy upon Korriban, a newer Sith sat in a room, devoid of anything but a few status of dark siders long gone. The zabrak held a saber in both hands, each ignited with their different colored blades. He meditated. If one could step into his mind, they would freeze to there end within seconds.

Cold, calculating. The Sith's eyes shot open and he swiftly fell into a battle stance, holding both sabers in an Ataru stance. He let out a sweeping blow with his back-hand saber, though it stopped suddenly as if blocked. his first saber feel into the strike, but quickly returned as with his other saber. He jumped back and brought up a saber as to block an attack from another. This contineud to a bit, as if he was fighting another. During the whole time, his eyes remained unblinking. Finally he struck a blow that could only mean one thing. he had fallen his imaginary opponent.

He then hit a button on a panel attached to his wrist, under the flow of this gantlets. Six orbish droids floated out and got into a circular position around Darth Latro. He raised his sabers, and the dance began as the driods began to shoot.

((One more Sith needing to be crushed eh? I'll get to you soon enough Des.))

Clad in a Vagabond Mk 4 Spacesuit, Link Darksun drifted through the empty corridors of the Crimson Queen. Floating scraps of starship compnents and the personel effects of the pirate crewers littered his way as he scanned the passages of the century old wreck.

"Finding anything?" Reido called out on the suit's comlink. The Rodian was back at his ship, scanning the hulk's surface for any possible clues.

"Not yet." Link pushed aside a crate blocking his path with the Force and maintained his momentum with a slight boost of his maneuvering thrusters.

"Rask...this will take days to look through something this big." The rodian griped, his voice partialy broken by static. "The sucker's over two klicks long and mostly intact! Its times like this I had some damn scout drones....Oh sithspit...."

Link's helmet turned instinctively in the direction of Reido's postion, his Force senses picking out the Rodian's life signal. He seemed distressed.
"What's wrong?!"

"Something...something was standing on the hull of the ship..."
"Standing?"
"Yeah! A guy without a vac suit was standing on the hull of the ship!"
"Calm down." Link told him as he swept the area with his senses. "It was probably just a ghost."

"....How can you say that so calmly?!"
"Battle sights are often haunted, especially ferociously fought ones like this. Some souls fail to find rest after giving it there all in such a fight and find themselves bound to the scenes of their death. Theres nothing malicious here, not that's noticible. No lingering dark side aura. So anything odd you should encounter should be harmless."

"...Bloody hell, now you're creeping me out. Its one thing to run into something you can kill. Its something else to run across something thats already dead! how the hell do you deal with a thing like that?!"
"When you are attuned to the Force, things that can not be explained by normal methods tend to become less mysterious. If they were malicious in intent, then this one could deal with them. Since such is not the case best leave them be."
"... what if they come back?"
"Its been stated that you should leave them be."
"He's on the ship."

That gave Link pause. "Say that again?"
As calmly as a terrified being could manage, Reido responded."The dead guy is back. He's sitting right next to me in the co-pilot's chair."
"Can you describe him?"
"He's a human pirate. Missing an arm and an eye, with a beard. And now he's pointing."
"Pointing?" Link scanned with the force again, catching little except the terrified Antarian Ranger.
"Pointing. He's pointing at the ship."
"Which ship?"
"The big ship. He's pointing at the Pirate Flagship."
Intuition filtered through Link's mind. He acted upon it. "Follow his direction."
"....What?"
"Follow where he's pointing. In all likelyhood he wants to show you something."
"You're insane. What if its a trick?"
"There is no malicious intent in this area. If it was a trick then this one would have picked up on it."
"Fine. But if he takes me to some ethereal Hell, I'm takinging the ship with me and leaving you here."
"Fine. Go."

There was silence on the comn as Link continued to float through the corridors, trying to keep up with the movements of the ship outside.
Then, there was a brief burst of static followed by Reido's voice.

"Ke rala gartoona..."
"What is it?"
"A ship...theres a ship inside a huge blasted hole on the Hulk's starboard side...Its not damaged or anything...and the dead guy's gone."
"Stay right where you are. This one is aproaching your position."

Link hurried along the passageway until he came to a door. With the power out on the vessel there was only one way through.
Taking his lightsaber from his belt, he breached the door with a trio of rapid slashes and then shouldered against it and hit his thrusters.

The door fragments were knocked away as the spacesuit clad jedi pushed through the door and crashed into what lay beyond: a baby's crib.
Link watched as the thing floated away from his impact, perplexed for a moment as to what a baby's crib would be doing onboard a pirate ship.
A light from a search beam flashed at the corner of his vision and he turned, seeing the familiar outline of Reido's starship backlit against the green nebulae.

He was staring out of a massive hole in the Crimson Queen.
Then he looked down.

Beneath him was a starship with broad wings and powerful thursters, bristling with cannon. It was red and blue in coloration with white striping along the wings, and strange bulges juted out from the aft and her sides. From his vantage point it resembled the outline of a 110 meter long bird of prey.

It all clicked in Link's head.

Judging from the vessels outside, Cale would have been very young when this happened. This pirate cruiser would have been his home had it survived. The crib could only belong to him.
And if what Link knew of him was any indication, Cale wouldnt have done something so foolish as hoard his wealth. He would have done something with it, would have invested back into his buisness.
And what better investment would there be for a space pirate than a Starship?
"We've found it." Link found himself saying as he looked upon the vessel in awe. "This is Cale Darksun's Treasure."

Reido's voice came through the comn in reply.
"This is going to be kind of hard to split 50/50, aint it?"
