Lucia's wound was almost completey healed when she felt the heat of Cyreanne's spell nearing her, without a second's hesitance she held out her left palm, focussing on creating a barrier of energy to block the flame that flew towards her. As she did this, her wound finished healing, and she dropped the shield, rolling back as the stream of fire hit the floor, setting fire to the thick underbrush. Lucia ran and swung behind a tree, charging a wave of energy she swung out from behind the tree and fired a bolt straight at Cyreanne.

Cyreanne pursued Lucia with the stream of fire, burning the tree that the zealot hid behind. The wood quickly turned to embers under the intense flame that hit it, and the tree was just beginning to fall as Lucia spun around from behind her cover and fired a bolt of energy at Cyreanne, who rolled to the side and rose up on her knee to propel a bolt of fire in her enemy's direction; then rose and ran for cover.

Sidestepping the blast of fire that flew by her, which exploded against a tree behind her and set it aflame, Lucia waved her hand like an orchestrator; directing the beam of energy in pursuit of Cyreanne. It followed her as she agilely dove around and behind trees, with the beam occasionally blasting through one and sending it crashing into the trees around it. Tired of the game, Lucia began pursuing Cyreanne by foot while simultaneously shooting a second beam around to direct with her other hand. Her first beam sped in front of the impure blooded girl and began chasing her back towards Lucia.

He shrugged, still facing away from her, "Possibly, but Im willing to bet not. Abel turned his head back to fully face Kaori, "Are you sure?" He hated to leave her like this, he owed her so much. He was slightly encouraged by her smile, but barely. Though it turned out to be enough for him to believe her.
Doing his best to not move his lower body, Abel wiggled out of his long worn leather jacket. He balled it up as best he could and as he slowly slid out from underneath Kaori, he supported her head with one hand and placed the coat underneath it with the other. After he finished, he stood slowly, watching her for a moment. She looked so vulnerable laying there, but the stranger needed help. He turned on his heel and headed off into the direction they had come, stopping just out of range for him to be sensed, placing his right hand on the hilt of the sword on his left hip, readying himself, though waiting for the right time.

Reno and Demetrius exchanged a look of distrust and contempt as the battle unfolded before them, the blasts of power rippling and tearing a their cloaks as they stood unmoving as the forest began to burn as golden tongues began to lap up and devour the wood. The two men slowly began backing away, as the fires grew ever closer and ever larger and ever hungrier.
“So it would seem that this so called chosen shall indeed destroy the anathama we intneded to hunt and save us such trouble as searching for them ourselves.” Came Demetrius, his words slow and collect. Reno studied the scene before him as felt the edges of his mouth flexing into a snarl of bitter resentment and when he spoke, his voice drip heavily of bitter amusement.
“So it would seem. But i begin to wonder if the chosen's power indeed is divine in its origin.” Another blast erupted and heat and wind burst past the two and slammed into them with a immnese foce, causing both the cringe and flex their muscles to keep themselves upon their feet. The flmaes began to snake higher and the black smoke towered high above the forests, a black obelisk against the darkening sky.
“So what it is it you plan then?” Came Demetrius.
“I have questions, questions that need answering. Questions that I want answered only by a high priest, not this walking abomination. I want her true origions explained and until that time I shall treat her exactly like I would any other who would display such power.”
“Extermination?” Said Demetirus and Reno caught the hit of desire in his compatriots voice.
“In time, in time. But for now, let her have her fun. She shall make our lives much easier. Remember a king may slay a dragon while awake but the mouse can bit him just right while asleep.” Reno cackled as the fire roared around the two, both writhing and shifting shapes embraced in the inferno that was growing with each passing moment.

Kaori watched Abel leave through half hooded eyes before she adjuseted her head. She hated this feeling of uselessness, but she could barely move, much less expend any energy right now. Why didn't it work? she wondered to herself. She tried to remember eerything up until the point that she blacked out, but her memory was still a little bit fuzzy. As it was, she could not recall anything going wrong when she was putting the barrier up... Her brow was creased now, this bothered her more than she would admit to anyone. She had thought that it would work, she was certain of it. But now she was drained of energy and the others... the others were back there, as far as she knew.

Seeing the bolt fly before her, Cyreanne paused and fired a bolt of magical fire at it. Upon impact the two opposing energies caused a gigantic explosion that transformed the surrounding environment into disintegrated bits of ash and sending Cyreanne flying backwards into a tree. Slightly stunned by the force of the explosion, she rose to her feet and stood a moment to get her bearings; then she saw the second beam of energy flying at her. Quickly, Cyreanne ascended the base of the tree and climbed into its branches. Leaping from tree to tree she swung over the bolt of energy, which pursued her through the forest into the open clearing of a village. "s**t..." Seeing the village full of people gathering for a group dinner, Cyreanne quickly regretted her move, she turned about to head back into the forest, but the bolt of energy was right behind her. Cyreanne threw a bolt of fire at it causing another explosion at the edge of the forest that sent her flying once more, this time into the wall of a small wooden cottage. The explosion and the sight of the now cleared area of the forest caught the villagers attention. Many of them, seeing the wounded half-witch rising from her spot on the ground, came over to ask what had happened. Cyreanne looked up at them with fear in her eyes, "Run!" She shouted, "Run as fast and far as you can!"

Lucia grinned as she pursued the anathema, the village coming into her sight through the clearings of trees resulting from her destructive pursuit of the woman. She laughed as her second bolt was destroyed by Cyreanne's firey counter, she had not enjoyed herself so much in her history of hunting the impure, and this excuse to use her God-given power was thrilling. As Cyreanne was rising from her place in the dirt, where she truly belonged, Lucia raised both hands and fired a gigantic shockwave of energy in the anathema's direction. As it spiraled towards its target, Lucia raised her arms and the earth rose about her, consuming her and bringing her form under the ground.

Cyreanne looked up at the sound of trees being rend to shreds by the huge shockwave of energy that was spiraling towards her and the surrounding villagers. "Run!" She screamed at them, but they were two stunned by the abnormal sight to move. Cyreanne, panicking, Did the only think she could think of and fired a giant stream of fire at the oncoming target. As the streams connected with the shockwave they only served to stall the mass of energy. In that short time that it was slowed down, some of the villagers began to run in all directions heading away from the shockwave, but still some of them lingered. "Damnit!" Cyreanne shouted, ceasing the spray of fire to grab and throw a nearby child out of the shockwave's way, just as it burst through the house and hit Cyreanne, ripping her clothes to shreds and cutting through her flesh. The swirling of energy threw her, half-naked into another house as the shockwave continues on, doing the same to the villagers and structures in its path. It hit a number of trees at the edge of the clearing and exploded, sending chunks of wood and earth flying in all directions. By this time, Cyreannes bruised and bleeding form had hit the ground, where she was propped up against the wall of a house littered with holes from the debris that had been flung through it. She sighed, blood running down from her mouth, nose, and a cut on her forehead. She lay there shivering in the cold, her body almost entirely stripped of its clothing, blood dripping along her muscular curves. She surveyed the chaotic scene around her. People were screaming, those who weren't morning the broken bodies of their dead friends and relatives were fleeing into the forest. Cyreanne groweld and rose to her feet, lucky that her body was made durable not only by her athletic build but by the magic that enchanted it.

The ground erupted before Cyreanne and Lucia rose from it, her slender form glowing blue. Her robe had been removed, revealing her long black hair, starck white eyes, and perfect form. Her skeletal structure stood out on her nearly naked body as she she grabbed Cyreanne with tremendous strength and puller her into her. "I've had my fun, anathema, have you had yours?" She grinned, "I don't think I'm yet." She leaned in and licked the trail of blood from Cyreannes face, one arm looping behind Cyreannes back to grasp her waist, while the right masaging her thigh. "You're all mine half-blood." She giggled. Her right hand was lifted and began glowing. "You can tell me where your friends are headed now." She waited for Cyreanne's response, then, laughing, penetrated Cyreanne's stomach with her glowing right hand. "Would you care to tell me now?"

Cyreanne merely glared at the zealot as she talked of how much she'd enjoyed chasing the half-witch down. She shivered as her barely clothed body was enveloped and massaged by the woman. This was wrong, everything about her was wrong. Cyreanne wondered if the woman was insane. Then again, by her standards, anyone foolish enough to give into the new religion's crap was describable as such. When the zealot indirectly inquired as to where her fellow non-humans were headed she intensified her glare and merely responded with a powerfully toned "******** you." Then the zealot's hand penetrated her. Cyreanne let out a scream as the limb's end sunk into her flesh, grabbing and squeezing her insides. She felt her intestines being crushed under the powerful grip of her enemy and clawed weakly at Lucia's back. There was little she could think to do, as thinking through the pain was so difficult an action to perform. "GYAAAAAH!!" Her head fell back as the hand slid out then went back in to cause her further pain. In a fit of desperation, Cyreanne did the only thing she could think of, and burst into flames. Her entire body was surrounded and composed of searing heat, the earth around her feet and building behind her back burned as they were set aflame.

Watching this for a moment, Abel soon realized, his timing stunk. It was pathetic. He slid the worn bow from his back and quickly grasped an arrow from the quiver that too had hung from his back and set it. Pulling back, he took aim at woman's, the filth of the damned religion, back. He was standing in a rather bad spot, and as soon as he released the first he moved, side stepping, never turning from the scene playing out before him, gettin ready his next arrow all the while.
It was strange how, well, graceful, the large male. For his size, one would figure he would blumbering, and despite brawn, completely useless. But Abel was thin and used it to his advantage. He toon aim next at the woman's wrist, in the right spot where he would miss Cyreanne. He let go, and then Cyreanne, burst into flame. Abel blinked a few times and his eyes widened. In all his years, he'd never seen anything quite like that. Woman don't simply burst into flame everyday, atleast not naturally.

Though startled by Cyreanne's move, Lucia was prepared for a violent response. A pale blue glow surrounded her like a shield as she stepped back, hissing. On her pale flesh the twelve symbols of the Gods glowed in a dark blue hue. She grinned menacingly as the second arrow shot by Abel disintegrated as it hit the energy field around her. Looking first at Abel, then at Cyreanne, Lucia spoke. "Are you ready to test the powers of the Gods, anathemas?" Her voice boomed throughout the surrounding area as air began swirling about her, the house behind Cyreanne crumbled as the half-witch's fire continued to consume it. Without further warning she fired a bolt of energy at Abel while rushin forward and slamming her fist into Cyreannes gut, a jolt of light ran down her shield's arm and to the fist, exploding in a burst of energy that sent her enemy flying backwards. Running forward with energy and speed that no human could posses, She leapt into the air while Cyreanne was doing a back flip to land on her feet. As Lucia came down she clamped her hands together and swung downward towards her target, who rolled backwards, then rose to her feet and blasted a wave of heat that sent Lucia flying back through another house. From the hole made a huge burst of energy appeared, heading straight toward the anathema.

Kaori, at some point while she was trying to figure out where she had gone wrong with the barrier, the witch had driftd off to sleep. Now she was in that space between waking and dreaming, where the two worlds combined and worked together.
She felt as if she were floating above the ground, though when she looked down, she could see that she was in fact touching it. Everything seemed to have a washed out look, except wherever she was staring directly at, which seemed to be more vibrent than natural. The whole thing caused her to look at everything twice, and for a while, she forgot about everything that was going on. As soon as she adjusted however, as well as she could at least, she actaully saw everything. She almost wished she did not.
She watched wide eyed, unable to turn away, as flames ate through the trees, devoering everything in their path. They reminded her so much of the fires that took her parents lives, the fires that her mother and father had protected their home, their child, and the town from. Finally, the woman blinked, and when she opened her eyes, she was no longer in the forest, but in town. She would rather be in the forest.
She had opened her eyes just in time to see a naked woman plunge her hand into anothers stomach. Kaori wanted to close her eyes, but feared that if she did, she would somehow betray the woman that was getting the hand plunged into her abdoman over and over again. The sight would have made Kaori sick, were she in her body, as it was she almost wished that she could be. Tears would also be running down her face, she wanted to step in so basly, but she could not, not in this state. Scould not do anything, and she felt like it would kill her. She hated being usless, had hated it since the day of the fire.
Staring at the naked woman, Kaori almost did blink at what she saw. Swirling around her were the energy signatures of a human but... they were changed, altered somehow. Almost as if she was a witch, but these signatures... they were different... wrong... Looking at the other woman, the suffering one, Kaori felt another pang of guilt at not being able to help her. This one caused by seeing that this woman was not fully human. Unlike the other womans, this ones had blended energies. There was human in there, but there was patterns of witch heredity as well. They swirled together, sometimes they seemed to be combined as one colour, in other spots they reminded the young woman of symbols that she had seen from other countries, ones that were supposed to represent balance. The sight was beautiful, or it would be, were it not for the colours that were streaked across it from the pain that the woman was feeling, the suffering, the anger, all of her emotions formed a kalidoscope that blended with her energies, which it seemed to Kaori were getting dangerously low as she set everything aflame.
Looking back at the other womans energy, she felt almost sad, that something that had the potential to be so beautiful was tainted by her emotions. Through the colours that were prominantly, almost proudly, displayed, Kaori could see her hatred, her lust for blood. For a moment, she thought she saw a small bit of fear threaded through there, but it was gone in another instant, and she told herself that she had imagined it.
Kaori stepped forward as the half-witch was thrown back, and was by her side in that step. The young witch had a desire, an urge, to place her hands on the wounded womans shoulders, and she did so. Biting her lip, she carefully siphoned a little of her remaining energy into the other woman. She had no idea if this would work or not, but she figured that if it did, it was worth the risk she knew was involved.

Cyreanne watched with fear as the wave headed towards her, not only because it was far too large to dodge easily, but because the sound of a child's scream suddenly became audible from behind her. Suddenly, Cyreanne felt a surge of foreign energy pulsating through her fiery veins, the fire around her intensified in heat and she couldn't help suppressing a grin as she raised her hands, flame rising in the air above her in a gigantic sphere. Like a pitcher, she stepped back with one foot and threw the ball into the energy beam before her and turned around to cover the child with her own body and ran as the two energies collided, causing a gigantic explosion. First, there was a blinding light and a rush of wind blowing away from the center of collision. It turned all surrounding houses and trees to splinters that flew away from the focal point of the explosion as the light grew to an unbearable intensity. Seconds later, the wind turned inward, sucking up its surroundings like some black hole. When the suction had finally ceased, a great cloud of dust loomed over the area. As the dust began to settle, it was apparent that the environment had been transformed into a gigantic crater. There was dust and debris covering the earth, embers blew through the air, caught in the light wind that blowed through the region. Nothing could be seen of the two fighters, or any of the villagers who'd still been present. Then, near the center of the crater, out of the dust rose a the figure of a dirty, bruised and bleeding female stripped bear of her clothing. The dust clung to her blood, and two clean streams ran down her cheeks as she morned all that had been lost because of her recklessness in battle. In her arms was the limp and broken form of a dead child. She fell to her knees, dropping the corpse and clenching her stomach where she'd been stabbed by the zealot's hands. She was bleeding internally, and even were the wounds external, she no longer had any way to treat them. She hunched over and threw up blood. Coughing and gasping for breathe she struggled to rise, the pain running throughout her entire body too much for her to bare. Cyreanne collapsed.
