Baki came back with the stick just as scarr was turning the page. Scarr threw the stick before baki could even react. the fetch training was getting annoying, but it was nesissary to turn baki into a good huntress. Scarr just wanted to focus on his book and his studies.

Scarr was understanding this chapter a lot. it was more pictures than words, but it was still very detailed. Baki was finding the stick and bringing it back everytime. she was definietly improving on finding the stick faster.
Scarr turned another page and than through the stick back intto the tall grass.

"wow i'm really getting all of this. so hitting exposed viens while the muscle is flexed is useless. hmm..." scarr jotted down a few more notes before turning the page. Baki had come back and was waiting patiently for Scarr to through the stick out again. which he did as soon as he heard her heavy panting.

"wait, what does that eve mean?" Scarr had been utterly confused by the description of the way the viens could "dissapear" as a palar trick. Baki too had failed her attempt. it took her well over a minute to find the stick and bring it back to scarr.
the stick was thrown back into the tall grass and Scarr shook his head as he re-read the page again.

"rubbing a vein exposed by...WHAT?!" Scarr scrtached his head with his leather wrapped hands. "i don't get it!" Scarr had to get up and help find the stick becase Baki had completely lost it.
Scarr read his notes again, and than read over the page again. Scarr realized Baki was still holding her stick so Scarr threw the stick into the training area again.

"oh~ this is just a demonstration of what happens to viens when pushed to the surface of the skin by flexed muscles. i feel like an idiot." Scarr wrote more notes on his scrap sheet. Baki was nearly at the stick by the time it landed and brought it back just as fast. Scarr threw the stick back into the tall grass and resumed reading the next page.

Scarr, having understood the previous page easily understood this part about relaxing the muscle before cutting. Baki, however, took a little too long to bring the stick back. she had grabbed the stick fast, but just kinda walts back as if it weren't training. Scarr thwacked her on the head with his pencil, "you have to bring it back faster Baki, its no fun if you just walk it over. now go get it again." Scarr went back to reading his book.

Drakyn hadn't move much since completing the task, after all, it had just about nearly wore him out. However, the ground where he was was hard, so got up and moved to a more grassy area and laid back in it. He watched the clouds float by in the sky. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the warmth of the sun upon his skin.

Drakyn continued to lay there. It came to his attention that maybe that he should tell the Kage that he had completed the training, but the soft grass and the warmth of the sun was too comfortable to his battle-weary body. He figured it wouldn't hurt to wait awhile, and besides, she probably already knew that he had....

Aya came running back into the training grounds. She was now pumped to try to learn this third exercise to the dodging palm. Running up to her mother, she asked for a water clone to be made, which was up and ready immediately. She let out a little giggle as Aya faced the look-a-like water clone. "Alright! I'm going to get this," she said proudly as her clone came at her.

You've learned it faster than I did when I was your age," the kusakage said, praising her student. "There's another part to the open palm, but I'm afraid your too young to learn that," she said, patting the boy's head.

Aya moved out of the clone's way, but it also moved out of hers. The clone had gotten much stronger and faster. It was amazing. This would be just as hard as Aya had expected. Good thing she was fully rested and ready for a full day of going at it.

The little girl couldn't help, but let out a little smile as she hit the clone in the side. This technique was fast and Aya liked it alot. However, she didn't have much time to be happy, because the clone came at her immediately after being hit.
