Asikari had been getting quite bored just sitting there, so slowly he began to wander away from the small little group. Step by step he'd been carried farther away, until finally he'd found himself at a very nice, yet small, waterhole. He grinned to himself and went to the water's edge, leaning low enough to see himself reflected in the water. He studied it for long moments then took a slow drink.
When he was finished with his drink he shifted and glanced around, lazily stalking a few paces away and laying down. His gaze remained on the waterhole, slowly glazing over from staring so long and not really seeing.

Binti watched Asi walk away, and shrugged. Something about that one just rubbed her the wrong way. Glancing over at Shujaa, she turned and padded back off in the direction 'kali had been heading. She slid easily through the tall grass, the stalks tickling gently at her sides as the bright sun beat down on her dusty coat from above.
Shujaa kept pace with the young lioness easily, his paws making only a little more noise than those of the near-silent Binti's.

Tilting his head slightly, Ama tried to decide if the sound was in his head, or if it was really there. By chance, he turned his head towards the right, in the direction he'd thought the scent of his mother wafted from. Oh that sound was so familiar....

Baneful ((I rp in the thread because it shows up on my egosearch. If the guild did the same thing I would rp here more often. I am teh forgetful monkey.)) ((xD. it was a general complaint, not directed at anyone in particular...but, I can certainly understand that <3.)) The scent was getting stronger, she was sure of it. Hesitating mid-step, Us'kali allowed a full-throated roar to burst free from her throat, the sound trailing off into uncertainty, as if she continued to doubt her very senses. Her eyes gleamed oddly, as if the mere thought of seeing her son again was enough to provoke tears of happiness in the elder lioness.

Despite the condition the lion was in, the large male belted out a return roar, letting it fade to a dull rumble in his throat as he struggled to continue forward. The closer he was getting to this 'mirage,' the further he was getting from the water. At this point it could be assumed that only his sheer determination and love for family kept him going, instead of sinking to his knees in the sand to face his fate.

Ears pricking forward as sounds of a return roar filled the southlands, Us'kali hurried forward. It has to be him...it just has to be... she thought to herself, hoping that all was well with her much-missed son.
As the sound of Us'kali's roar rushed over her, followed shortly by the roar of what sounded like an adult male lion, Binti darted off, not quite sure what was going on, but not wanting to leave the old lioness to her own devices with an adult male...just in case.
Sticking to Binti's heels like glue, Shujaa could feel the fading roars reverberating through his entire body--and it wasnt' an altogether pleasant feeling.

Stumbling slightly over the crest of a dune, Ama paused, squinting in the sun to see ahead of him. Something moved, but was it her? It was so hard to tell. The heat wavered in the air, making things around him distorted and strange. It didn't help that he was in lands that weren't his own.. "Mo....Mother?" The soft words were spoken, as he continued to strain his vision for a clear look.

Almost stumbling at the sound of her beloved son's voice, Us'kali felt tears streak their way down her silky muzzle. "Ama." she breathed, loping forward again with newfound determination.
Slinking up behind Us'kali, Binti raised her hackles, wary of the adult lion who, although he appeared somewhat worse for wear, nonetheless presented an intimidating sight. Allowing a soundless snarl to creep across her face, she clung closely to Us'kali's heels.
More cautious than Binti, Shujaa kept his expression decidedly neutral, although his hackles, too, were raised. There was something strange about the elder lionesses behavior around this new lion.

Laini opened her eyes in the shelter she had found for the night. It was near the river like all other previous ones. She had been followed the river to the south all the way she had been in travelling. At least the water was always near. Gray adolescent rose her head and looked around. What had got her alerted was a voice that she at least thought she had heard something. Someone was nearby. Hopefully it wasn't anyone with hostile intentions. She had been chased enough much by territory lions lately. ((Oh and if I use funny words or sentences to express myself, I'm sorry. I'm not native english speaker so I might do some mistakes. Just point out if you see me making mistakes. 3nodding Oh, and here is Laini, in case you want to see her.))

Asi snapped again at the small bird, sneering. "Leave me be." He hissed at it. It would fly off a few paces, only to come back. He was wandering near the river, coming toward the shelter. He was not able to smell the female, and even if the winds let him smell her he probably still would not, he was too distracted by the small bird.
The bird had been following him all morning, sometimes getting close enough to perch on his back. He just didn't understand, he was good at making things leave him alone. Well, that or fight him.
He smirked slightly, coming into view of the shelter. A brow raised slowly and he completely forgot about the small bird, if only for a moment.
((alright ill be sure to, if i see them.))
