"It's perfectly alright, just hold on tight Athari." -Slowly standing fully up again he gave the leopard cub a moment to situate himself before he took the few steps over to Taku, smiling some.- "Try not to wiggle too much alright little one. And if you get uncomfortable just let me know."
-Delicately placing his mouth about her back he picked up the young kit making sure to be gentle as he shifted her around so that his teeth wouldn't poke her unpleasantly while they traveled. Once the two seemed well ready enough he took off into the rain, moving relitively slow at first to make sure Athari wasn't going to slide about. Finding his relitively well placed Mufasa picked up the pace, trying to keep his large paws from burying themselves into the soft mud. They'd be drenched by the time they reached the Pride rocks.. but atleast they'd have someplace to hide from the wind and dry.-

Athari clutched at Mufasa's mane, lowering his head slightly to help keep the water out of his eyes. As he realized that he wasn't going to fall off, he started to look around him in awe, for...although he couldn't see much with the weather being what it was, he *could* see just how fast they were going. At that point, he threw his head back and laughed delightedly, feeling....free. The sound didn't travel very far, and seemed to linger.

Taku looked around at the clouds that covered the Pride Lands, she barked happily trying not to wiggle as her tails wagged softly from side to side. She then smield as she heard Athari laughing and barked again before laughing herself, she was enjoying herself so much, first she overcomes her fear of lions, now she was riding in the kings mouth.
"THIS IS AWESOME!!!"

:: The jackal rose up. He slowly began to walk back to Prde Rock. His bones cracked as he walked. His white eyes shifted about. He was close to Pride Rock, his den being not very far from it. He looked around. He then smelled Mufasa. He got very low to the ground, in a bowing stance. He waited for the king to appear ::

-Delighted that the young ones were enjoying themselves so much, and seeing the outcrop of rocks in the distance he picked up the pace again against the added weight the drenching rain had added. As they neared the dark and seemingly quiet home a flash of lightning lit up the sky, thunder rumbling close enough that Mufasa could feel the vibrations in his stomach.
Carefully climbing up the emmense rock structure, taking care to go slow as not to slip from the small waterfalls of rain that poured down, he finally made his way to the cave enterance, setting Taku down under the overhang of the den. Still standing in the rain himself he knealed to let Athari off, smiling lightly.- "Welcome to Pride Rock."

Taku's eyes widened in delight and she smiled happily, she then tentativly walked in and looked at all the lioness's. She gulped slightly before looking back at Mufasa and then Athari, before slowly walking forward again.

-Giving a large shake, to try and rid himself of as much of the dripping and running water, he followed slowly into the cave, glancing lightly around to see who was around and who was awake.-

Athari almost tumbled off of Mufasa's back, taking a few moments to get feeling back in his near-numb legs (he was so tense! XD), sitting back on his haunches to disguise his...temporary discomfort. Looking around, his eyes wide, he almost lay down on his belly, feeling slightly intimidated by the sheer size of the lion's home. All the young leopard cub could do was manage one whispered word. "Wow..."

Crouched low to the ground, Athari looked around cautiously, unsure of what to do next. Maybe...this wasn't such a good idea after all...this place is scary! he thought to himself, tensed and ready to react to....anything.

((anyone mind if Koho randomly abandons the stalking of Kiyowe and goes to pride rock? I would kinda like her to meet up with mufasa, and she is barely involved in roleplay at the moment so I don't think it should interrupt anything))

((Again sorry guys, I'm the most irresponsible.. I was just feeling so down for most of last week because of a little occurance. x.x Wasn't up for rping.
Ohh, and I don't mind if Koho comes to the rocks. :3 ))
-Smiling to the children he watched them softly as he waited for them to get comfortable, watching the other young lions and lioness' to make sure they weren't startled by their new guests. However the sound of a voice calling his name caught his attention, and he turned his sore and soaked self in that direction.- "Speak?" -Taking a few light steps out into the rain once again, he gave himself a soft shake, before approaching.- "What is it you'd like to speak about."

Taku looked at the cubs around her and then slowly aproached one of the lioness's timidly, she sniffed the air before smiling and then starting to explore more of the cave.
"This place is cool huh Athari?"
