You two are so loud, I could hear you if a bear was snoring in my ear! She roared up at him, I knew it! I knew you snuck off with that....that what ever the heck she is! She wasn't speaking aloud but she was gesturing emphatically. She stormed off down the street, shooting a rude gesture back at him, in the process.

Chaos watched her and now spoke in her mind. You impudent child. How do you know my intentions and who willed you to be so jealous? Do you know if I've done anything with this woman? Do you know if I've made her my own? You know nothing Lotus. Never assume, and never suspect, only know. He shakes his head a bit and looks back out at the sky. Such a strange girl...why had he ever taken her under his wing...ah yes, because she forced herself in unwelcomed. Tis tiresome in his own mind, but he'd deal with it.

BULL HOCKEY!!!!!!! She roared back and blocked any response on his part. She really just wanted to stay mad for awhile, it gave her somethignto do besides thinking bout what Chaos was doing, how he was doing, or what he was thinking. She walked blindly, enraged, to the sea and sat down on the beach with a huff.

*Hotaru looked as the girl that asked him to come over ran off*"what was that ? did i scare her somehow? i hope not"*as he smiles and fins himself and nice little place to sit down by a store and rest a bit. Hoatru looked up at the beautiful blue sky and sighed*"still no sweet's in sight......"

"So you have a pupil, you surprised me there, Chaos. But boy you've chosen a bad one, you'll have to work hard with that one." She paused to change position, all the blood rushing to her brains made her feel a bit nauseous.
"It depends on my mood. If I'm enjoying myself around you, then you have nothing to worry about. But when I get bored, that's when I start doing things to entertain myself. As simple as that. So I don't know yet, Chaos, I don't know if you can trust me..."

Chaos looks back out at the horizon, his golden eyes taking it in as the sun began to kiss and slide down slowly. "She's not as much my pupil as she is some person whose father I killed, and decided to follow me and train by watching what I do...I don't plan to train her till I feel ready and I know that she is prepared, which may be never."
His eyes stay out on the horizon watching. Waiting possibly but moreso just waiting for it to leave so he could attend to his workplace.

Lotus stared at the darkening sky, then the sea. She lay on her back on the sand, looking up at the peeking stars. Everythign blurred and she impatiently wiped tears away but her face came away dry. She looked around her and became suddenly aware that she could no longer feel the sea wind, or hear it for that matter. She was dry and warm, sitting in a silk kimono on a mat.
Her father was sitting on a stool cleaning Kaji, his favorite sword. His angurlar face scowling in concentration. She was about to say something but he spoke first, "What are you doing?"
She stared at her father, baffled, What did he mean?
"Lotus, what are you doing?" He now looked up at her, dark eyes intense, "You're wasting time, that's what you're doing, wasting your time!" He barked the last part, and she jumped and looked down at her lap.
"Sorry, papa." She mumbled.
"You think he's going to let you keep this up, you let yourself get involved, got too close and now you have no clue what you're doing. Very dangerous, Lotus." He finished then fell silent.
Lotus said nothing, her head bowed, she could feel her cheeks were hot in shame, she was wasting time, she had forgotten that Chaos was the enemy, she'd lost her focus...why had she lost her focus?
Her father spoke again, more gently, "The b*****d was right though. He said I would be with you always, and here I am." He started cleaning again before adding, "But he's still a b*****d."
Lotus, who had looked up at him now smiled a laugh. She jerked awake, back on the sand, looking up at the night sky. She frowned, rolled up and stood, walking along the coast with a business like gait.

Chaos rises from the window seat. "The time has come when night kisses our sweet heads, and the masters come out to play..." He turns sweeping from the window. He left it open intentionally as he headed to the other room with the 'important' men. He stood by a wall his hands upon the katanas' at his sides. He stood there in silence letting the men talk. Their work was diplomatic. His was of a killers. He stood out of their candlelight for that reason. His eyes scanning and ears hearing all. He wasn't a fool. He already could hear the infiltrators. He could even hear Mou's shiftings. He waited though. He would attack when they entered. They weren't allowed to harm the members of importance.

*it seemed that Hotaru and dozed off for a bit and how it was night* "Hacha.....how did i pull this off i guess ill find a place to stay for the night"as he got up and pats his behind to remove all the dirt. He became to start walking down the street when he noticed the sound of some foot steps coming from the ally ahead of him so he stops and smiles and speaks out" if your going to try and ambush me then it would really work i have already heard you, the best choice is to come out an just face me but to tell you the truth*he gives out a little laugh and then with a huge smile on his face says"there is no way a bunch of thief's going to beat me"

"THIEF'S!??!!?" *one of the men yell out as he steps out of the ally*"I'm impressed you heard us like that but we're no thief's, Remember the two guys you messed with earlier? they were apart of my gang and were just here to settle the score*as he snaped his finger three otehr men came from the shadow's. Each one well built and had an acute smile of blood on them.Hotaru just smiled and looked at them with his now lifeless eyes*"lets begin"*as he grabs the hilt of his blade right arm lowering the hand fown to the ground to prepar it for his battoujutsu.The main guy called over one guy carrying a spear and told him to attack first, he noded and steped infront of Hotaru."Well it looks like you will die from my hands tonight"* the man with he spear said and then he lunged in with the spear trying to strike Hotaru's lower abs,but at he second started his attack Hotaru had closed the gap between them and drawn the sword to cut the spear inhalf.Hotaru stand look at the man and says"is that it? or do you have more?*now angered by how easy Hotaru broke his spear he dashes in with his broke spear till trying to attack but Hotaru just side steps and strikes him with the dull side of the blade to knock him out. Hotaru looks at the main man and yells out"if this is all you have then I'll be leaving now"

"FINE!!! if you want to be cocky like that you little brat then I will kill you myself ,We were just going to beat you up and take your money but now I think ill just kill you" the main man said
"well then lets get it over with im tired nd need some sleep"Hotaru said as he rubs his eyes
The man pulled out his sword from his sheath and held his balde infront of him with two hands ready to attack. The two stood there for a bit as if it was a stand off then with out a moments notice Hotaru leaped in with his right leg hand holding his blade in his lefted arm he pulls the blade back and when he was within distance for his blade be launched his blade out to stab the man in the upper right shoulder.The man just took his blade and turned to his right and pushed the sword slightly so it would not him and he stepped in was raised his arm up to slash down at the now defenceless Hotaru flying at him.
"your good but now good enough,I let my guard down and messed around to much "Hotaru smiled
Hotaru flips the blade in so it now faces the man and pulls out his other blade from his waist and uses it to block the downward attack coming from the man
"now your blade is tied up and your open for another attack....oohh what will you do??" Hotaru said

((Just looking at your style is a good one, but get rid of the *'s if you're going to use " alright? Also capitalize, commas, and all that other stuff you should know about. It is important so we can read it easier ^_^ That's all for now because I'm not fully reading through your posts.))

The men came at night. Chaos heard them long before they entered the home or got near it. His weapons were still at rest though. His eyes scanning the room slowly, searching for shifts in the shadows. Movements or changes that he didn't like. Chaos walked slowly as the men talked. The people outside of the room moved slowly toward it. They wanted to get in, to attack those around that table. They didn't know a killer was in there. They didn't feel the aura, and they wouldn't feel their deaths either.
Chaos moved as the door creaked. The window was moving at the same time but he wasn't as worried about the window, if he was worried at all. His blades sliced out killing the men before they could step in or be surprised. He would then rebound off the wall as the men at the table where ducking down to get away from the fight. The ninjas and killers at the window were about to jump in at him as he charged through the air. They didn't have time though, his feet landing on the window sill, the blade attacking the men and cutting them down. He would then bounce from the sill and land with a slight side kick to the door in order to close it shut.
Chaos sheathed the blades' with accuracy. "None will come tonight now...they have felt the power that is protecting. I will stay here though..." He turns from them walking to the shadows and seating himself against the wall in silence. His eyes open and watching with an intent power.

Lotus sat on teh back of a cart, she didn't want to run or walk, she was happy to see the countryside go by slowly as the cart bounced along the slightly uneven road. She pressed ehr lips together, What was I thinking? She chided herself, her original plan was to kill him, so she would, once she was ready, and the best place to train was where she was first taught.
