"All work, no play, huh?" She shrugs and turns around to where her colleague came from. "Hm." Fenris walks casually back to the damaged Scorpion and continues her repairs.

((I know there is no specific entrance so i'm going to use the same way Kristi did but more detailed.))
Mathias replied to Furon, "Ha, it would be nice if there was a door. But, were taking the same way Kristi took." The Captain pointed in the direction that Kristi had gone; A cave with a rather steep decline. Mathias acknowledged Mendez, "Good. Your on point Sergeant Mendez. Everyone else fall in behind the Sergeant." Captain Twombley was second in the scattered line of troops moving towards the cave entrance. Upon their arrival they would find evidence that Kristi had already entered and now they were going in after her.
Mathias had thought of trying to contact Michael over the com again, but he wanted to keep radio silence so no one could eaves drop on them. The Aliens, whoever they were might already know that Alpha Squad was now entering their domain, but at least they wouldn't know what they were talking about. For all Mathias knew though, Hammer could be dead and now he was brining the rest of Alpha squad to their own graves.

Shifty followed Captain Twombley, being as light on his feet as he could. He grabbed a muffler out of his rifle incase there was shooting in the cave. "DOn't want it to get too noisy." he said if anyone gave him a weird look. The cave was steep so he had to work a little to stay up right.

"No sir, sorry sir"Zarius called after the spartan. Zarius felt ashamed to have asked such a question and returned to his post. He just wanted to get off this s**t hole and get back to Earth, the only place he felt safe. Zarius sat down and began to chew on some food.

Michael jogged down a couple hallways after creeping through a few tunnels. After about 15 minutes he came to one conclusion, the structure was like a labrynth. He continued to jog still holding his MA6B out in front of him to shoot anything on target, when something slammed into his back. Michael tumbled forward and rolled. As he came to one knee he release two short bursts. But the enemy quickly moved out of the way and was at him again. This time he was ready for the lunge. Hammer dodged to the left and dug the butt of the gun into the enemies body. Before the thing could fully realise what was happening, Michael began to fire in 5 round bursts at the thing, being sure not to waste any ammo. The alien moved out of the way in time not to be cut in half by the flying lead, but not quick enough to dodge all of it. A harsh scream rang out and the enemy took off. His shoulder was sore from the brutality of the little mother ********, but it was nothing he couldn't shake off. He got up on both feet and begrudgingly began to run through the corridors again, this time ready for anything.

Kristi, who had been trying to follow everything that was going on by purely sound alone, was trying to locate the main groups of soldiers as she went in further. hearing steps from a distance she stopped, and took a lean against a wall in some kind of pedestrian intersection evidentally, hiding in a piece of rubbled out wall.
The footsteps got closer, when they were almost at her she ran out, and ended up holdinga knife to her friends throat,"damn you guys got here fast.." she said seeming to know as soon as the knife was against tom's throat.

Howie followed in pretty quick, he was about 4th in the scatterd line. As they approuched the cave his heart started to race. As he enterd the cave he felt a sence of lonelieness as the darkness engulfed him in its silents.

Jacques Armistead stifled the urge to yawn and instead set to cleaning the sand from his battle rifle, which he had had to disassemble because the firing mechanism was locked, presumably by the sand, although it could have been another cause. Of course he could have switched it for another, but really, he felt he needed something to occupy his mind other than the strange aliens on the planet, one of which he hadn't actually seen, and the climate.
He had seen the bullet-riddled body, of course, with a hole through the back of the neck, and was slightly disturbed by the sight. Only slightly though, he had been trained to handle situations he deemed 'worse'. He found the problem, he had been right, it was sand in the firing mechanism that prevented him from shooting, and he shook it, the tiny grains running from it onto the ground like a small golden waterfall.
Armistead assumed that it had got in there when the wind began to pick up and they all ran for the barracks. It seemed logical, since would have hardly put his gun down in the sand on purpose. He took his oily rag and wiped out the last of the sand, then rapidly reassembled his weapon, then he placed it in his lap and pulled a rather squashed looking packet of cheap cigarettes from his pocket and lit one, taking a puff.
Nothing like destroying one's lungs and health with tar and toxins, he thought, glancing around idly. He stood and stretched, putting his battle rifle back in its sling and strolled over to one of the marines, who was at the time having something to eat.
"Mind if I have some, soldier?" he asked.

Zarius spun around and saw a warrant officer, he snapped to attention and said: "Sir? shouldn't you have food yourself?". He couldn't help wondering Who is this guy to be an officer and not have food and then ask me a soldier for food? He then reconsidered "Sure here you go sir"Zarius said handing over a small bundle of food.

Mendez hated point. He hated it more than the Covenant. Pressing his back into a wall, he peeked around a corner and signaled the rest of the squad to keep moving.

Michael ran and ran until he couldn't run anymore. What am I doing? I'm an ODST! I can run as long as I want he thought. He turned a right corner and stopped dead in his tracks with his rifle at ease. The corridor opened up into a vast room at least 5 stories tall with idols of former marines on the walls lined up with their weapons. On the far wall was a Spartan. The statues were almost as tall as the cieling and were horribly detailed down to the last nut on their weapons. An artificial sun gazed down a single beam of light upon the spartan statues chest plate where a crystal object was. Michael shook his head and turned around going to run the other way, where he heard voices, human voices, when he felt a small tug. A gravitational pull if he ever felt one. But he was able to rub through some more corridors until he estimated he was at least 50 feet from the others. He remember exactly where the shrine was (if it was a shrine) and he would take them there, and then to the alien enemy.

Mendez heard the loud thud of desperately running feet, and turned another corner, hoping to see Michael on the other end. It wasn't. Cracking the alien over the head with his BR55, he tossed it back to a marine and told him to take it out. Mendez went back up front and continued walking.

Shifty followed the group, keeping as close to the front as he could with out getting in the way. His eyes were darting this way and that, hoping they might catch something and so he could get his cracks in.
((So, what is it that you just killed? I've been gone a while so I wasn't sure.))

Howie watched as the alien was passed back. It fel pretty empty inside the corridors. He continued to look forward since he was pretty far from the rear and only had to worry about his 12.

Armistead cocked his head and sat down next to the marine, folding his legs under himself and looked down his nose at him. It would have all been very well if he could have actually looked down at him, but he was shorter than the marine and he couldn't very well manage it unless he stood up again, and even then the effet would be nullified if the marine stood up as well.
"Are you questioning me, soldier?" he asked coldly and inspected the small package carefully, making sure it really was food. He nodded in appreciation when he had decided it was. He took a long drag from his cigarette and exhaled, blowing smoke, before he unwrapped the bundle.
"There is no sand in this, is there?"
