Heya!! I'm Kelandry or Kel for short. No, it is not my real name but I won't get into that right now. I LOVE Harry Potter and have read an uncountable amount of books. I'm pretty easy going and I may not be on much due to school work. I am also a freak about manga. That's about it I'll talk whenever. =]

Hi,

I'm Casandra, on here anyway. I've been reading since I can't remember when and I love books. My favourite authors are Diana Wynne Jones, Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. I also love manga.

"Hi, my name is Jess, and I'm new here" >.> Anyways... I love reading, mostly fantasy books, the occasionally scifi/horror or thriller. I have a huge collection of books, I want to become a librarian... Currently I'm reading the Inkworld Trilogy, I'm something like 200 pages from the ending of Inkdeath. ^_^

My current favorite authors are: James Clemens, James Rollins, R.A. Salvatore, Terry Pratchett (I'm in love with Discworld), J.K. Rowling, Robert Silverburg, and many many others.

Well as for me my list splits between novel authors and manga authors.
My favorite author for novels is Robert Jordan (RIP)
Also I really enjoy L.E. Modesitt Jr.
My favorite manga author is Nobuhiro Watsuki (author of RuroKen)
However I am also a huge fan of Rumiko Takahasi because she is able to write really varied stories, ranging from action to comedy to romance, it's an amazing gift.

Hello, my name is MaryGrace, or xPochaco-13, or Monay, or Pochaco-chan or whatever else you may wish to call me... Heck, you can call me Shikitikaronquisha and I won't care... just no mean names...

My favorite book(currently) is Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli(is that correct spelling?)

My favorite authors are Rick Riordan, Suzanne Collins, Sharon Creech, Jerry Spinelli, Alison Goodman, and whole bunch of others... I have a list on my profile but I'll check it later...

I absolutely love books! If books were a type of alcoholic drink, I'd be so drunk right now! I'm not exactly picky, I'll read anything; science fiction, fantasy, philosophy, manga, historical fiction(my fave), or whatever. I want to be a writer when I get older and I'm already working on a story right now...I'll get it published when I'm older and...

I hope I learn a lot form this guild and I hope that I can get some new titles from here, too... Yay! I'm in! ^^

Hi I'm Rosegirl920!

I love way too many books to choose a select few favorites, but if I must, Christopher Paolini is one along with J.K. Rowling! Another is D.J. MacHale, and .... Lots of people!

Hello everyone!
I'm Odzuchi_Kodzuchix3! (yes a definite mouthful) Just call me Zuchi or Tazzy instead.
I don't have a favorite book (too many to choose from) but I probably adore the Artemis Fowl and Percy Jackson & the Olympians series.
No favorite author sadly.
I heart books, I mainly read fantasy and anything branching off from that. If you were to give me something informationally educating I will be picky. I try and write the many story ideas in my head down so as not to get a malfunction overload (basically there is a lot of stories going on in there) Nothing else to say really...so there, hehe!

Hi! I'm Musing Maiden, or Muse, if you prefer.

It's difficult to pin down favorite books, but I enjoy pretty much anything put to paper by the following writers: Tolkien, Shakespeare, Dostoevsky, Austen, Orwell, Vonnegut, Eliot, and Lorca. Also, I love Jane Eyre, but I haven't read anything else written by the Brontes.

Interestingly, I'm writing a research paper about the decline of reading in recent decades (or should be, anyway) at this very moment.

I'm Azaveil, age 25 (in a few days) and I've been reading novels and chapter-books nonstop since I was 7. My mom said she first thought I was reading when I was four, but then she realized she hadn't turned the page yet and I was already reciting the next part. Either way, I started loving books really young. I used to walk around the playground in 2nd grade with a book in my hand, pretending I was Belle maneuvering around all the weird "normal" people.
My favorite book is actually a series that inspired me to become an author myself. It was the "Belgariad" by David Eddings. I spent one summer reading it over and over, all five books. (Though, around the third time I skipped the first book sweatdrop ) My next favorite was "The Changeover" by Margaret Mahey, though the rest of her stuff wasn't as much to my taste, I absorbed that book until it started falling apart. I had to buy another copy on ebay, lol.
I've read almost the entire "original" Nancy Drew series that my mom had from when she was in high school. I'd go to the library and grab piles of romances as a time to keep me busy for one week. It got to the point where I'd be reading a book and by chapter three I realized "yes, I did already read this before." Sometimes I finished reading it anyway, either because I didn't remember what happened or it was just that good.
I have so many books now that I feel like a "Paper Master". If half my books weren't in storage or other rooms and all in my bedroom, there would be no room for anything else. I've already started to catalog them, but when I was brainstorming on the categories, I realize I have enough books to fill nearly 50 standard boxes in almost 20 different categories. I have everything from paperback romances, to sci-fi, to world-religion research materials.
My current favorite authors are Sherrilyn Kenyon, Maggie Shayne, Laurell K. Hamilton, David Eddings, Terry Brooks, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Mercedes Lackey, and Andre Norton. I'm currently working on writing three different series (that kind of connect, like Terry Brooks' stuff). A 9 book sci-fi series, a modern gothic series (like Kenyon's Dark Hunters) and a fantasy trilogy. I keep switching what I'm working on based on my mood. Right now I'm still in the research and planning stage because I realized I didn't learn very much about the real world in school. When I actually write them all out, I could probably publish a book a month.

Hi Hi, I'm Kibz (Donna IRL, but i doubt anybody's gonna remember it unless you get to know me well).

I haven't been reading properly for that long, possibly a year now, even though when i was a child i had read every goosebumps book in the library by the time i entered high school xD

If i had to pick a favourite book so far, it would have to be River God by Wilbur Smith, it's set in Ancient Egypt in the second intermediate kingdom, during which the kingdom was split by barbarians (Hyksos), i'm incredibly interested in Egyptology so i knew it was gonna be an awesome read to begin with, but so far it hasn't been beaten! razz

I'm currently reading Raymond E Feist - The Magician, bit of a change after reading historical fiction, but it was recommended by my boyfriend as he's read all his books. 300 pages in and i can't deny its brilliance!

Anyway, off topic of books briefly, my other interests are metal music, festivals, traveling around the country, and drinking with buddies (i'm old enough, so don't give me that one wink )
