((Shades turn
And, no, Shou, but it'll do. xd ))
"Maybe," Flare answered to Hakan, as she followed the archers in running the hell out of the crumbling force, dodging falling bits of debris as she did so.
A piece conked her in the head, giving her a small bruise, but it didn't stop her from getting out of there.

Rumbling. Daniel didn't like the rumbling. Or the quaking in the walls. Too much damage, it was easy to see that, what with all the gaping holes, burned places, frozen places, etc.
It was thus he stepped back, keeping his eyes on the enemy, pistol ready, and suddenly the world just blew up.
The bishop next to him took a warpstone, right to the face. Had no idea that man had it. There was nothing left, other than shadow paste of the creature.
And Daniel was standing right next to it. Toss aside like a rag doll, slamming into the ruins, his body was laying at an odd angle. He was barely moving, and seriously injured. (I'd say one turn to death, unless someone pulls a miracle heal. Death right now, if the mods say so. He's not superhuman in any way to survive blasts going off right next to him.)
Everyone was scrambling for an exit, other than the Ice Bishop. He was covering the structural integrity, losing the battle, but trying to keep the structure standing just long enough.
The rook, and his two guard, Al and Ben, charged towards the hole Jacob and Quin flew through. It looked as though the rook, in his haste to escape, was going to trample right over them. The pawns would too, though they might have the foresight to squewer the two with their blades before trampling them.
The other four pawns came out behind the rook and his guards, having the forward momentum to make that hole they were charging towards, the closest exit.

((Crap, forgot the null mage on the stairs. And Con.
Con dropped back, to the southern area, running quickly. He had his orders, and he was relaying the situation to the shades at Cresent Plains, to ready their defenses, that shades were coming back...
He called out, "Withdraw!" and bravely lead the way back running.
The Null mage, wasn't so lucky. Up on the walls, with too many people pushing ahead of him, it looked like he wasn't going to make it down the stairs, much less out an exit before the building fell.

And as the building gave way and fell, so did Vahn.

((Arc, I say make a roll now, your modifier versus Quin's. Usually critical damage roll, you win you live, miraculously surviving the explosion and the fort's collapse. You lose you die.))

Good ******** idea. Take off- let them have it. What was the worth of this place? True, it would benefit the miners because of the debris bridge- but that could be easily taken care of.
Still, no one knew Stryphe had shown up. All shades under his command had followed the retreat order, and Stryphe used this moment to slip into the shadows of the ruins to keep an eye on the area. Hidden. Having watched most of the fight between Vahn and Mooo, including the end, he crept over that way

Hakan was close behind Flare in the escaping. Not too close, but close enough that he'd get the hell out of there too. Now normally, he'd have had an arrow ready to shoot, but at the moment he was a little preoccupied with Flare's answer to his question.
I mean, maybe? How unsatisfying of an answer was that? But eh, oh well. He supposed he'd get further clarification eventually. Meanwhile, not dying was important, so he'd be around if she said yes.

As Mooo's fist rammed into Vahn's chin, lifting his opponent off the ground by a few inches before sliding off and letting Vahn settle back to his feet, Mooo completed the motion of his uppercut, seeming to raise his fist to the sky in triumph, holding it there for a moment...
...before doing a much more complete motion than he'd intended, spinning around and tumbling onto his side, staggering back up to his feet as he looked up--and saw a giant chunk of building descending toward him.
"Ain't that a b***h," Mooo muttered weakly as he went ni-night quite violently for the second time in as many days.

Placeholder, for when we count points later.

((The dice, and now because things are going to hell I need to get Quin out of the way of a bunch of rumbling Shades.))
What was that noise? It didn't seem good, then he saw a portion of it away from the opening but still visible. No time to stay still Quin pulled his arms and closed to him and rolled to his left.
When the Shades had passed out they had almost crushed him but he had come out of it with his life. With the roll he came up to a crouch positioned and panted for a moment. Trying to regain his breath as he waited to see what was happening.
He did know that the structure was coming down.
