Monaleth raised her head in gratitude, "Thank you. I will not disappoint you." she then turned to the woman and said, "This Lady Merlin. She will be your boss and you wil listen to her," and then a little more gently, "Let me show you to your room..."

The woman nodded then started in surprise and had to scramble again to follow Monaleth through the crowd which, strangely, parted before the other woman.
Merlin watched them go, her red eyes following their progress until they were out of sight. She turned her attention back to the teenagers and their trivial and amusing conversation.

((Gotcha...and this woman has become part of the story...hasn't she? lol))
She walked up the stairs slowly, making sure the woman was close behind as she walked past a few guards, signalling for them to let the human pass. She of course heard a few snickered from the men, but thought nothing of it. She then stopped in front of her door and opened it for her.

She shied away from the men, keeping her eyes down. She hesitated on the threshold then walked in gaping at the room. It was bigger than her and Guy's appartment and much more richly furnished. A charming persian rug, a canopy bed between the size of twin and queen and another door that was linked to a bathroom. The bathroom was small--normal sized, "This is...? This..." She looked at Monaleth. The colors were in hues of blue and gray.

She walked around excitedly, "Oh....oh thank you! Thank you so much!" She was wiping tears away with the back of her hand, "W-When do I start work?" She asked.

"As soon as tomorrow if you want," Monaleth replied, holding the handle of the door lightly, "I shall be downstairs if you need me. The guards will keep watch over your room and escort you to the bottom floor when asked." she then began walking, "I will be up later to checkup on you."

Lina was ontop of one of the higher building in the city, her sword out and ready as she moved, fighting an unseen foe in her mind. She slashed upwards, followed by a quick thrust sideways, running another foe through kicking into the air. It was what she always did after such a close encounter with one of her own age...her own strength. And maybe more....

walking down another alley Rikku lept up on a rooftop and crossed the city hoping to find Lina soon. Pausing a brief moment Rikku glanced down at the gash on her side before covering it with her hand again and continuing on.

She stopped and looked down, breathing heavily as she completed her exercise. She then looked up and watched as a figure came towards her, and by the person's scent, it was Rikku.

Finally seeing Lina, Rikku sped up to reach her but soon collapsed from her lack of strength.

Lina immediately stood up and jumped over the gap that stood in between them, searching for a wound. It was the only way she had ever seen Rikku become weak. When she found it, a light blue light fell from her hands to the wound, healing it slowly, "What happened?"
