Draeken Aakarshan

Draeken made no move to stop the blade, but there was still a sense of movement as one of the creatures that guarded him sent the blade spinning off in another direction. Draeken only moved when Focht began tapping his limbs. In movements that suggested boredom, Draeken lowered his right thumb to his mouth and bit into his thumb. Blood began to dribble down his chin as he bit quite deep into his thumb. As the ice began to form on his body he quickly began to smear blood upon it. Instead of freezing on the ice, the blood would soak into it and disappear. Soon, Fochts plan to encase him in ice would prevail. For the moment at least.

*Jason sniffs the air as the battle between the two went on.* ... what use would his blood be? *His hand wnet back to rest on his gun, he didn't need to see it to know where it was.*

Focht appeared off to the side of D, his left arm hanging limply. He was out of breath, panting for air, as he dropped to a knee. The glow faded from his hand as Focht put the eye patch back in the correct place, covering the pool of silver that used to be his right eye. He looked at his handy work and seemed to relax alittle. Focht got to his feet and walked over to pick up his Grand Klaive, his tail swaying slightly, positive the ice would hold, atleast he hadn't seen it broken yet.

There would hardly be a sound as a spear of ice would form from Draeken's prison. In fact, there would be hardly a sound of at least five spears of ice formed, all of which were pointed at Focht. The only real sound that would come from the ice prison would be the sound of the ice suddenly hurtling through the air towards the man. Inside the ice, though no one could see, Draeken held that grin and his eyes seemed to be still following the movements of Focht.

*Seeing the spears (If I understand how the darkness works, if not sorry I'll edit sweatdrop ), he whips out his gun and aims... s**t that's where light would help, oh well... He tries to aim at the spears and opens fire, shooting all six bullets, just in case.*

It seemed to Draeken, that despite the darkness, someone was still able to aim at the spears of ice and shoot. Four out of six of those shots missed by quite a bit, but two would hit and shatter two of the spears, leaving three to still hurtle at Focht.

(Basically, the darkness is near absolute. It eats light, has blocked out the moon and stars, and basically, a flashlight or night vision would do you no good right now.))

(What I mean is, can I still see your character adn things touching or around him?) *He empties the empty cases of the bullets he just shot and put that gun away taking out his second, he wouldn't bother reloading in this darkness.*

As close as he was, Focht couldn't dodge all of them but tried any ways. Diving away from D, Focht used his own influence on the ice to turn them up and way from him. Ending up face down on the ground wasn't dignified but it was the best choice on a short list of options. The impact didn't help his ribs or arm any as he cringed when he hit. Never before had Focht encountered someone turning the ice against him. He was tired and having to fight for control of his own attack wasn't helping. The spears of ice that were shot off, if any, hit the ground and would melt unless D had some way to maintain them. Getting back up again Focht held his ribs in a natural reaction to the pain.

Draeken still grinned at Focht as he dodged the ice spears. He hadnt completely won the battle for control, though, and Draeken exploited that. There would be the sound of only two of the spears imbedding themselves into the ground. The third would have stopped only a foot above Fochts standing form. Though no one would be able to see it, it was now the color of blood, deep crimson. The spear would point towards Fochts lower back as if Draeken knew exactly where to strike to hit a vital organ such as a kidney. The spear would hurtle down towards Focht.

((Yes, you can sort of see Draeken, though dimly. The ice on him yes, but the ice he sends flying away from him, no.))

(Okay) Seems we need a more direct target. *He says as he takes out his other magnum and shoots at the block of ice, only four thought before he's slip into the shadows and, keep eye on his target, headed for a better point to aim.*

Focht's eyes widened as he felt the spear pierce his back and go thru his right kidney as he was still getting up. The force sent him back down to the ground and the spear imbedded in the ground enough to keep him there for a moment.

"Ahhh..... how the...... *wince*..."

It was all he could do to just maintain the shell of ice around D right now. With his left arm useless, he tries to get up to his hands and knees. Getting into an upright position, Focht starts to push the spear back thru the hole, grabbing it behind his back and pulling it out the rest of the way.

Draeken actually laughed now. It was a cold sound. Colder than the ice and maybe even colder than death. Only those that had died before would know that for sure. Once Focht would have gotten the spear of ice from his back and held to the side of him, it would explode sending millions of tiny, but razor sharp bits of ice in every direction.

And as to what would be done of Jason, Draeken turned his eyes on that man and suddenly ten blood red spears were hurtling towards the man that was trying to interfere with the fight. If Jason were to shoot any of the ice spears, they would explode showering him with high speed, razor sharp, bits of ice. The bullets headed for the block of ice that Draeken was encased in would be smacked from the air by the sudden movement of one of Draeken's invisible guardians.

The exploding ice spear knocked Focht over on his left side and the impact didn't help any. The ice fragments only went a short was in before melting but they still tore up his hand pretty badly, going clean thru in places, and into his side some more. Growling alittle, he slowly levered himself back int a sitting position with his bloodly right hand.

".... maybe this wasn't such a bright idea......"

The melting ice within Fochts body would deposit some of Draeken's blood inside the man. For a minute nothing would happen so Focht would be none the wiser. After that minute, however, Focht would begin to feel a searing pain within his body. It would feel as if fire was being set to every blood vessel, vein, and artery and even his heart and lungs. Essentially, his entire body, inside and out, would be engulfed in searing pain. Likely the amount of wear that the man had already endured would limit his abilities to surpress the pain.

Focht's eye went wide with shock and pain. His mouth opened to scream but he couldn't. Falling on his left side again, he curled up in a ball, the pain much more than he could bare. Squeezing his eyes shut and gritting his teeth, Focht fought to maintain his control but it slowly slipped away and the ice went entirely to D's control. There wasn't much that could be done for Focht as he was suffering, trying to hide from the pain. He was still losing blood thru the hole that once had been his kidney at an alarming rate when he finally lost conciousness. His breathing became shallow as he slowly rolled onto his back, his body relaxing.
