(I'm guessing we're at a temperate area and possibly in the spring? If I'm incorrect, hit DarkHayama in the head with a mallet. What kind of forest are we in?)

Sorry. It's mainly Oak, Maple and such, almost no evergreens. It's late spring and this is a temperate area. There are also ferns, ivy and shrubs (underbrush). What kind of herbs is he looking for?

As the rangers were doing their thing and interpting their finds. Dimitri wanders a bit. Looking through the forests, Dimitri finally sees the plant he was looking for. Of course it was also a tree nearly thirty feet in height sweatdrop . Caressing one of the low hanging branches, Dimitri looks at one of the white with red center flower growing on it. "Oooooh heart , I'm smitten with delight heart 4laugh . It's sooo pretty 4laugh heart . Hmm, only enough for one dose I see domokun . Oh well." Dimitri carefully harvests only what was need without damaging the plan 3nodding t as a whole. "There, now the crazy nature-loving gnome won't think I'm disrespecting nature sweatdrop xp ."

I stand up, and look around, thinking for a bit before looking to the group "Well, it looks like we want to follow the main group. Something happened here...I don't know what, but there's little we can do to find out right now. Time is important, so I think we better just follow the main trail for now. Keep an eye open though, whatever used those arrows could be as much a foe to us as they were to them."

"Hey guys, what did you find? Oh, I just thought of something, would it be to much of a stretch to think that who ever employed them might have killed to silenced them. And in that effect would it be possible to think that an evil cleric might turn the bodies into undead to have an army? What I'm saying is if one thinks like they do, one is usually better prepared. Therefore, if I was evil and happen to have some corpses laying around, skeleton army would be what I'd do 3nodding ."

"Not all that are evil are necromancers though. We've no evidence to suspect that any necromancy has taken place, and until such a time, I'd like to believe such an atrocity has not occured. Besides, whoever these arrows belong to, they're not arrows that were used at the town, so it would seem a completly new group has come up. So either the Cleric was actually working with someone else, and just using the raiders, or someone else tried to interfere."

BloodOnWhitePetals As Kyte and Nizam try to make sense of the myriad tracks through the underbrush, they notice that most of those that left the main force were goblins, and the humans stayed together in the main group moving into the woods. The goblin tracks appear to move off in every direction, as though there was some amount of panic upon reaching the woods. Kyte also realizes that the confused tracks of the humans show movement at speed, so the group must have been running. Dorak, while looking for wood to carve, discovers some bloody arrows. The arrows are odd and bent, created from still-green wood, with wicked thorn tips attached. They are unlike the arrows anyone in town used during the battle last night. Dorak bends down and picks up the arrow heads and looks at them and then hands them to one of the rangers. "Here you might like this and beable to tell something from it better then i can."

It obviously wasn't a party known to the raiders, or they would have stopped, at least for a while, but they just kept on running. Interesting.........." She continued to look them over, still thinking.

Seeing how everyone was searching, Dimitri decides to do the same. Hopefully I can find something of use, or at least repairable 3nodding .

Aww hell, I'll never find anything this way. Look back at his at his allies. Realizing that they could be here a while, Dimitri takes his time and search every inch for clues...or at least something interesting.

As you stand in the wood looking around, a single elven man dressed mostly in leaves appears out of the brush ahead of you. His skin is brown and he carries a bow made of a sturdy living branch. There is a bent, green arrow with a wicked thorn head notched in his bow as he cautiously steps forward.
He speaks in High Elven, but you can tell he is not accustomed to it. "Hail Elf-friends. What is your business in the wood?"
Nizam recognizes him as a scout for the local wood-elves, he has run into a few before while hunting in this wood.

Jumping about 2 feet into the air, Dimitri pulls out his quarterstaff while Brendon takes out his dagger. "WHO ARE YOU AND WHY DID YOU SNEAK UP BEHIND ME!? WNAT TO DIE OR SOMETHING?!"
