Our show was called Call of the Dragon and it was Chinese themed. We even had a big traditional chinese dragon that the colorgaurd ran around with.. it was so sweet. We went to national's in st. louis and got 9th out of 52

Last year twas called Hide and Seek.
This year we did Sequenza.
FUN FUN FUN! Both years were great : )
I liked this years better though...*shrugs* call me crazy

We played Electronica!
In 07 though. Waveforms and such. First year marching , EXTREMLEY hard!

well I did Pirates last year...this year we are doing West Side Story...this is only our second year doing field shows ^_^

.Your In My Death Note. We played Electronica! In 07 though. Waveforms and such. First year marching , EXTREMLEY hard! You Must go to Hoggard High School. Because where I'm from they did an electronica show. And your profile says your from NC, and so am I. BTW: We did Circus show my first year, '05 King Kong Show Last Year, '06 Prince of Egypt This Year, '07

We did FACING RAGE last yr and was awarded 3rd in state. then this yr was THE PER7ECT NUMBER and got 2nd in state with a score of 89.15

this year was Force with the music of Rob smith and arranged by Alan Emerson. ^_^ then the drill was by some DCI arranger. idk who it was though, but he was mean cause we only got to have one stand still and that was the Jazz part.... this is the show if anyone wants to see it http://youtube.com/watch?v=gd1cwHOAS08 last year was Redemption, we took that to BOA Grand Nationals in Indianapolis ^_^" sadly we didnt make it to finals though....

For 2006 my marching band season was called Tour De France with music from Brian Balmages i think im not really sure though. it sucked but but we still owned other bands haha. the only reason out theme was this, was because the Governator doesnt allow schools to go out of the country. we were gonna go to France.

We did Cirque Du Coleil: La Nouba. That was amazing! And unexpected... we were supposed to do Phantom of the Opera... but someone told us it was already being done... so we did Cirque Du Coleil, and then... we saw the same show atleast five times that year. One school had there drill done by people who performed the show in vegas. it was insane! And worse then ours!! MUAHA! ((Ok, so I'm saying that... I'm not sure if it really was...)) Anyway, our songs included:
Reve Rouge, Urban, and Distorted. we were supposed to do A La Lune... but we didn't, and that was the best song of them all!!!

We didn't have a name for ours. ^^ we played classical music. ^^ it sounded really good. we did... Farandole, then 'Chorale' from Jupiter, then 'Scherzo' from Beethoven's fifth symphony, then 'Ode to Joy' from Beethoven's fifth and Farandole reprise. biggrin
we had a GREAT time playing that.

My 2006 show was called We Will Rock You. We played songs from Queen, including Bicycle Race and Bohemian Rhapsody. It was so much fun, but we got a lot of complaints from judges because it was "not in the traditional marching band style." XP
