Once he ruled out any of the eggs being inside, Terrence moved through out the town. Az was resting on his shoulder like usual, but he did seem rather tired, not that Terrence could blame him. Az was under-leveled and was taking heavy hits. Terrence definitely wanted him to rest up and get his energy back so that he can get better. He kept Rava inside his pokeball, he would try to carry him, but he was just too heavy. Terrence was too weak physically to carry him, and he did feel bad. In the end though Rava staying in his pokemon would benefit his rest more than if he was outside with them. So in order to pick up the slack he was more determined to search for the egg.

Terrence looked over to see Az was slipping off his shoulder a bit. His eyes softened, and he plucked the small grass type delicately and cradled him in his arms. Terrence was fond of all his pokemon, they were his friends, and in a way he considered them his family. Even though his brothers joked about him being too motherly, Terrence never denied that claim. He really could be motherly, and he worried over everyone close to him. He fawned over them more than he really should, and he would do anything to make their pain go away. He smiled brightly, silently thanking the grass-type for all his hard work as he moved around some more. He felt quite lucky that the egg was just lying there in front of him. So he picked it up without waking Az up, and quietly headed over to the next area.

With Damien inspired to search for her egg, Scarlett started making her way towards the Cerulean gym. "So that means ya're up far the gym lass. Think ya kin handle it?" Scarlett asked, arching a brow as she glanced at the solosis. Dotty looked a bit hesitant, but nodded. It wasn't really as if she had a choice. Ready or not, she needed the training, and Scarlett was going to put her through it. She could only hope that the pirate wouldn't be angry if she didn't meet expectations. At the very least, Dotty knew she had a powerful electric attack up her metaphorical sleeve, and that would help her greatly. However, there were so many unknown factors, like how strong the pokemon from this gym were in comparison to her, and what pokemon they were. Dotty hadn't even really trained much under Scarlett, what if they didn't work well together? The questions buzzed around her mind so incessantly that little sparks of her red aura flickered unstably, which Scarlett took notice of, but didn't really question. She was far more focused on getting through the front doors of the gym.

Scarlett strode casually into Misty's domain, Dotty still floating nervously behind her as they made their way along the little pathway over the pool. "Hiya! Welcome to the Cerulean gym, can I help you?" A swimmer offered as she toweled off her hair. "Yeah, I'm looking to challenge Misty." Scarlett explained, leaning to one side and placing a hand on her hip. Even though the swimmer girl was being polite, Scarlett could still feel her comparing them both, and the redhead had to suppress a smirk. There was a natural competitiveness among athletes, and Scarlett felt confident in her own looks and physique not to feel intimidated when she was being analyzed by others. "Oh! Sure, she's just finishing up her laps. I'll go get her." Scarlett tilted her head slightly and offered the girl an almost patronizing smile. "Thanks hun, you do that." She encouraged, waiting as the swimmer made her way over to grab Misty and mutter things to her colleagues. Scarlett could she them huddling against the wall and talking, shooting her sideways glances every now and again. The attention was riveting, even if it wasn't necessarily good attention.
"Hey!" Scarlett turned her attention away from the gossiping girls to face another girl. "Misty?" Scarlett quirked a brow and straightened. "Yeah, you wanted a battle right? Well you've got one." Misty insisted, sending out her staryu.

Yet another battle ending with her unable to do significant damage, Misty shook her head. Forcing her pokemon to battle trainers who already had badges just wasn't fair. Ah well, she wouldn't complain; at least not out loud. "You two did well," she complimented, stretching her arms out even as she walked. She might've just finished with her laps, but she suddenly felt the need to do another ten. "Here, take this. The Cascade badge, and TM Substitute." Misty handed both over to the redhead, tone rather dismissive. Yup, the great gym leader had caught an attitude.

Scarlett took her rewards from Misty with a small smile of satisfaction. She wasn't at all offended or angered by Misty's dismissive tone. Quite the opposite in fact. It made her feel smug, knowing the water type gym leader was only being short with her because she had lost, and so handily to boot. As she walked out of the gym, Scarlett sprayed Dotty with a few potions. "....Ya're still actin' all jittery." Scarlett commented quietly, and Dotty wrote a hasty "Sorry..." in the air. Scarlett gave the solosis a questionable look, not sure why she was apologizing, but shrugged it off and stored away her new badge and TM. "S'pose we should check on Damien yeah?" She suggested, exiting the gym and glancing around for any sign of the monochrome hellhound.

It didn't take long to find Damien, snoozing in the grass near the gym as he waited for Scarlett to be finished. When Scarlett saw him, her neutral expression fell into an unamused stare. "Shoulda known the moment I left ya'd just laze around." Scarlett grumbled, moving to Damien and nudging him forcefully with her foot. "Wake up ya lazy mutt." She insisted, though as he stirred and gave a yawn, Scarlett caught a glimpse of a plastic egg in between his arms. Damien breathed in deeply and let out a grumpy huff as Scarlett bent down to take the egg. "Huh.... Alright. Guess I stand corrected; ya can be useful yet." She suggested with mild satisfaction, returning the two pokemon to their pokeballs and calling back her ride charizard for another trip.

Nanaska was surprised how determined Leo had been, it was like he was on a life or death mission or something. Not that Nanaska was complaining or anything, no, she was actually surprised. She knew Leo watched attention, but dang he really worked for it this time around. She couldn’t just neglect all his hard work could she now. She scratched behind his ear, and under his chin. She smiled, rewarding him for all his hard work he had done. Akaor seemed to be motivated as well, because as soon as Leo found the egg Akaor had seemed perplexed for some reason.
It was sort of funny seeing all her pokemon suddenly become more motivated. It was like after seeing Leo working hard and then getting rewarded for it caused a switch in all her pokemon’s head to snap. She knew they all loved and wanted her attention, but this was just ridiculous! Not that she could say that out loud, her pokemon were working so hard. She’d just have to silently reward whoever found the egg. That way it would be fair to everyone. Regardless though she hoped that her pokemon didn’t think she had favorites or anything.
Leo rolled over on his stomach, looking at her as he motioned her to rub his belly. Leo was so spoiled! She did as he asked though, but she made sure to watch out for her other pokemon as well. She didn’t want them getting into trouble after all. That was the last thing that she wanted to have happen. Pursing her lips, she noticed Kora was looking around areas that were higher up. Aurora was doing the same, but for whatever reason she was flying in the air. Not sure what she was looking for, but Nanaska didn’t have the heart to tell her that pokemon eggs don’t float of fly in the air.
It seemed that Nanaska didn’t have to end up telling Aurora that there were no pokemon eggs in the sky. After all it seemed that Kora couldn’t stand it anymore and being the gentle giant that she was, flew over herself and explained the situation to Aurora. It was sort of funny to see the flying-type turn a bit pink with embarrassment, but aurora seemed thankful. She smiled at the sight, as Aurora and Kora returned to the ground and looked for the egg together.
In the end it was Tsuki that found the egg. The ninja seemed to have a knack for this type of thing. Her other pokemon seemed annoyed at how good he was at this, but they accepted that he had found the egg fair and square. Nanaska had to agree to that as well. All’s well that ends well she supposed. With that, she finished pampering Leo before heading to the next area.
