Kate's mood always got better when she saw delicious food,she picked up the milkshake and sipped from it. It was delicious but the milkshake Nick made her was much more delicious than this one,maybe she would ask him for the recipe."Great,now he knows that we're here."Kate mumbled before taking a big bite of her toast.A big smile appeared upon Frankie's face when Nick finally turned around,he waved frantically at Nick.Waiting for Kate to do the same but Kate just turned around to look at Nick. Her mouth was filled with food and she looked like a hamster with puffed cheeks,she quickly turned back around to face Frankie."Go talk to him."Frankie said but Kate quickly shook her head then swallowed."No! I can't.." She sighed then turned back to look at Nick for a moment before she turned back to Frankie,she lowered her head and just ate her food. "Hey Nick~! Don't ignore us,that's rude." Frankie called,waving his fingers quickly."Kate has something to say to you." Frankie called as Kate quickly raised her head up."What? What do you think you're doing?!" She whispered to him."Stop panicking,grow some balls and talk to him." Frankie told her as he smiled gently."I'm not going to do that." Kate said quickly before she turned to look at Nick."Don't listen to that pink pixie!" She called loud enough for Nick to hear.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

He heard Frankie yell at him not to ignore them and he lowered his head. All he wanted was a coffee and now he was being pestered by two people he kissed the same night. "Just go and talk to her, dude.." snapped Ryan, giving his shin a kick under the table. There was too much going on, Kate and Frankie yelling things at him and now Ryan. "F*ck off! I don't have anything to say..." Which was true. What would he say if he walked over there? Suddenly, Ryan planted his hands on the table and pushed himself up. "That's it! You're a hypocrite! You're always telling me to grow some balls and ask girls out, when you can't even do it yourself! Grow a pair and ask the girl out!" he said the last part in a whispered yell, causing Nick to purse his lips before standing up. "Fine, but not here. Let's go." And with that, the man fished out a twenty from his wallet and left it on the table thinking it would cover everything.

He asked again before shaking his head."Revenge time."Frankie smirked before a big grin appeared upon his face,Kate knew that he was going to do something bad and she had to stop him before he will say or do something bad."Nick,Kate wanted to tell that she actually loves y-." And before he could finish what he said,Kate grabbed the back of his hand and smashed his face into the mini cake Frankie ordered."Hate you!" Kate accidentally said loud so Nick won't hear what Frankie said."Wait no..I mean I.." Kate had no idea what to say,people started to look at her because she and Frankie were being too loud.In the end she just stayed silent and laid her head against the table."Frankie,I'm a mess.."She mumbled quietly as Frankie tried to clean his face with the napkin."Ya think?" "Nick,Kate wanted to tell that she actually--" "hates you!" Was all he heard as he walked past with Ryan. "Doesn't everyone?" Nick muttered, pushing the door open. The two walked right past their window once more, Nick taking long strides with his hands stuffed into his pockets and Ryan struggling to keep up with his short legs. "Dude she didn't really mean it, you know that right?" The shorter fella asked, finally walking alongside him. "Yeah, I know. Just wanted to agonize her a little bit." The corner of his mouth pulled up into a small smirk. He knew that if Kate thought he took the comment seriously, she would be upset. Which was what he wanted. It would make him asking her out even more of a surprise than it already was. Ryan let out a soft laugh. "Nice. Anyway, if you're really going to ask her out like you say you are, you'll need a change of clothes because women like men with class. And this," he started, waving his hand over Nick's body as they walked, "is not class. This is stupid at it's finest and it's actually embarrassing that you would go out in public looking like this..." he muttered the last part. Nick turned his head and squinted his eyes at the smaller man. "At least I don't walk around looking like I raided Barry Manilow's wardrobe." He shot back, eyeing his white collared shirt and red pull on sweater. The guy even buttoned the top button. "Man, shut up... my grandma made me this.." he mumbled. Nicholas rolled his eyes, shaking his head lightly. "You're wearing your grandma's sweater and you're insulting me. Unbelievable."
In the end, Nick had given in to Ryan's lecture. The two did some shopping at the mall and picked out a casual yet fashionable outfit for him. On the way back to his apartment, he picked up a bouquet of lilies and pink roses that were all neatly packed into a beautiful pattern from the flower shop and then made his way home.

Kate and Frankie laughed as they exited from the cafe."Ok,the next thing you should do before you ask him out is wear something sexy. Guys love it when women wear something sexy." Frankie explained as they walked in the street.."I don't think he wants to see me ever again.." Kate felt for yelling like that,she really didn't mean to say the words 'hate you'. And now he was probably angry at her or so she thought.."Come on girl,we have to buy you some sexy clothes."Frankie took her hand and led her to a few shops that were around. After buying what they needed,Kate went home and so did Frankie. At least the food and the shopping made her feel better,Frankie told her to confess today but Kate just couldn't do it. Once she reached to her apartment,she closed the door and changed her clothes into the big hoodie. It was like a mini dress on her,plus it was super comfortable."Alright,alright! I'm goingto confess today..Bye Frankie." She finished the call with Frankie and placed the phone on the table before she went to the cupboard."No way,I can't do that." Kate let out a heavy sigh,she made some popcorn to herself.After that she just sat down on the couch and watched movies.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

Once in his apartment, Nick rested the flowers on the coffee table and decided to take his time getting ready. He was in no rush. He took a nice long hot shower and then changed into a pair of black skinny but not too skinny jeans, a blue polo shirt, and his new pair of black and brown vans. He left his dog tag necklace around his neck and didn't bother buttoning the two buttons of his shirt, exposing part of one of his many tattoos. Standing in front of his mirror, Nick cracked open the small container of untouched gel and dipped his index and forefinger in, slathered them up, and then pushed them through his hair. He gave himself a little bit of a side parting and slicked it up at the front making certain to put just enough in to make it shine though not enough to make it appear greasy. After quickly washing his hands, Nick sprayed himself twice with his Old Spice perfume and then gathered his keys and wallet. Oscar had already been fed today and was sleeping, so he would be fine for the night.
The man retrieved the bouquet, feeling slightly nervous about asking her out. What if she said no? What if he was overthinking things, and she didn't actually like him at all? After a moment of mental debating, Nick finally opened his apartment door and made his way across the hall to Kate's. He simply stared at her door for a moment, and almost turned right back around a few times before he closed his eyes and raised his fist to the door... and knocked. He smiled confidently to himself as he raised the flowers up to hide his face, and when she opened the door he slowly lowered them. His smile was confident, yet so charming. It was the kind of smile that emphasized all of his perfect features. "So, um.. I've been thinking, about you and I... and I realize that I'm not the perfect guy with the best morals, and that I'm definitely not a Prince Charming, but if you give me the chance to be that kinda guy, Kate, I promise it will be worth your while and I won't let you down." He paused, gazing deeply into her gorgeous blue eyes. Nick moved the flowers a little closer to her. "So with that being said... will you please go on a date with me?" He finished, voice deep and husky.

It was pretty much lonely,she was the only one in her apartment and she didn't have money to buy a pet. Kate placed her legs on the couch and just watched the tv while munching on the popcorn. Suddenly she heard a few knocks on the door,who could it be? Kate knew that it could be only one person...the owner of the building! He's probably going to yell at her again for not paying on the rent.Kate got up and walked over to the door."I told you already,I will pay next..."Suddenly she saw a beautiful bouquet in front of her and Nick stood behind it,his hair wasn't messy at it. Before she could even say something,Nick started to speak. Her lips curled into a gentle smile as she looked into his beautiful charming eyes."Nick.."Her expression was really happy,for the whole day she was thinking about him and now he's standing in front of her door. Asking her to go on a date with him.Without saying the word,Kate took the bouquet from him and wrapped her arms around his neck. Hugging him tightly and happily.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

Suddenly, without a word, Kate took the flowers from his grasp and threw herself into his arms. Nick stumbled back a little surprised though he wrapped his arms around her all the same and closed his eyes, smiling. He slowly spun her around once before dropping her lightly onto her feet. Finally, he pulled away and slid his hands down to her hips, waiting for her to release her grip from his neck. He pressed his lips into a thin smile, blue eyes crinkling slightly. "You wanna get ready?" He asked, noticing her attire the second she came to the door. It was cute and bummy, though not really first date material. Nick didn't know what they were going to do. He figured they would just wing it. However, he did have one thing in mind. He wanted to take her to the bridge in Central Park, and since it was so late, it would be perfect. The bridge was easily the most romantic destination in New York, especially at night.

`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸♥ Kate lifted her legs when Nick spun her around slowly then slowly dropped her,her feet touched the ground before she raised her head to look up at him.She had a silly-cute smile on her face because she was really excited,going on a date with Nick.She just hoped it will be the best date she will ever have! "Oh..Right.." Kate glanced down at her attire,noticing that she was wearing a big hoodie."You can wait in the living room."Kate took his hand and led him to the living room then she walked to the kitchen to put the bouquet into a vase."Just wait here,I will be ready in a few minutes."Kate quickly went to her bedroom and closed the door behind her.Of course it took her some time to get ready,she had to put some makeup,the new outfit she and Frankie bought,fix her messy hair. Finally,after some time Kate exited from her bedroom and walked into the living look."I'm ready." Her lips curled into a gentle smile,Kate tucked a strands of hair behind her ear as she looked at Nick.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

Nick let Kate lead him into the living room where he allowed himself a seat on the couch, sprawling out a bit. He looked up at her when she began to walk away, nodding his head a bit. "Alright," he said with a small smile. He figured it would take her a while to get ready so he laid down on his back letting his feet hang off the arm of the couch. He was glad she was excited as he was. With a grin, Nick took out his phone from his pocket and began to text Ryan saying that everything went well and as planned. "I'm ready." he heard, causing him to look up from his phone. His smile was faint as he took in her body in the dress. It accented all of her perfect curves. Her blonde hair was looking shiny and as though he could run his fingers through it without a tangle. "You look amazing," he finally said. Nick slid his phone back into his pocket as he rose to his feet, adjusting his shirt and jeans. He walked up to her and took one of her small hands into his own, lacing their fingers. "I don't exactly have anything planned out... but I do want to take you somewhere."
He lead them out of the apartment to the elevator where they took it down to the main lobby. It was a short walking distance from the building to Central Park since it was practically their backyard. Pretty soon, the two were walking the trail hand in hand underneath the dim moonlight. The white light reflected on the waters surface and gave it beautiful glow. Nick looked down at Kate, his smile warm and loving. "Can you guess where we're going?" He asked.

She never thought that he actually likes her,her blue eyes looked at him as she laced her fingers with Nick's."Alright." She nodded her head then followed quietly after Nick,she was curious about the place but Nick probably didn't plan to tell her. To tell the truth,Kate was also nervous.She knew Nick but going on a date with him made her feel nervous and excited! Kate stayed silent in the elevator and just walked quietly with Nick,looking around. Even though she stayed quiet, Kate continued to hold Nick's hand gently. After some time the two were walking the trail,holding each other hands."Hmm..."Kate looked around before looking back up at Nick."The central Park bridge?" She asked,raising her eyebrow lightly.She used to walk here all by herself, she loved to see the view from the bridge.It was always pretty!♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

"Hmm... the Central Park bridge?" Kate guessed, looking back up at him for his answer. Nicholas let out a breathy chuckle, shaking his head. Well, his surprise just went down the drain. "Yes, the Central Park bridge." He confirmed, letting go of her hand to drape an arm across her shoulders. "I presume you've been there during the day... but have you ever at night?" He questioned with an arched eyebrow. "It is quite a sight." Nick realized what he said rhymed, and he gave a light chuckle like the dork he was. "I think you will like it, you just might." He finished the rhyme with a charming wink before pressing his dusty pink lips together into a warm smile, eyes returning to the gravelly trail ahead of them.
Sometimes there were even fireflies by the bridge, hovering above the stream. Around them, crickets and even the low bubbly sound of frogs in the nearby stream could be heard. A line of cyclists rode past them, ringing their soft sounding bells and flashing their bright lights. The sun had almost set, the sky almost completely dark except for the faint streaks of orange and red and yellow by the sun. In just a few more minutes, the sky would be black and scattered with tiny white bright stars. The perfect setting for a date on the bridge of all bridges.

Kate explained,wondering if it would look beautiful at night. Kate realized that what he said rhymed but decided to stay quiet about it,then he decided to finish the rhyme. Her lips curled into a smile before she started to laugh."It looks like you love to rhyme."She said with amused expression as they walked together,stayin close to him as they walked.
Kate glanced at the line of cyclists that rode past them then looked up at the sky,in a few minutes it will set and they sky will become dark. Kate loves to see the sun set,it's really beautiful! "It looks like you love to rhyme," Kate said with a soft bell like laughter, causing Nick to smile crookedly and laugh as well. "Oh, hell yes. Rhyming is one of my passions. You know what I should do? I should drop this restaurant business and become a poet like Dr. Seuss." The sarcasm in his voice was about as clear as a bell. After the cyclists rode past, Kate looked up at him with a smile and said that she was happy he took her there. His lips curled up into a small smile and do a mental fist pump in his head. "Me too," he said softly. Soon, they arrived at the bridge. Once in the middle, Nick leaned against the wooden railing and looked down at the water, his body half turned to face Kate.
His blue eyes seemed to glitter underneath the pale moonlight. He put his elbow on the railing, resting cheek against his closed fist as he looked at her trying to think up another rhyme. Finally, a thin smile splayed across his lips. "Roses are red, violets are blue.." he began, moving slowly to stand in front of Kate. He leaned forward against the railing behind her, flexed tattooed arms trapping her body. "I think you're sexy, so I'm joining the queue." He waggled his eyebrows playfully, smile turning into a rather seductive smirk.

When the two arrived to the bridge,Kate placed her hands on the wooden railing.The view was amazing! "Wow..." Her eyes glittered slightly,before she could even say that the place was pretty Nick began to speak. She turned around to face him,laughing softly."Joining the queue? There's no queue."Her smile turned into a smirk before she shook her head to the sides."I think I should teach you how to with woman."She laughed a little more before she turned her head to look at the sight."It's really beautiful.."♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´
