Frankly they were just in the 'trainee' division.
But Alaska was excellent and taking good care of him and he at least wanted to put a little bit of his own game out there.

She'd gotten a text, which she'd not seen right away having had her phone turned off. But when she did turn it on to check it, she was surprised to see something about 'exterminating mermaids'. Well... okay. She didn't have much else to do and didn't feel like being on tentacle watch again today.
So, a little late to the party, Fini finally showed, geared up and ready for action. First things first... time for a little dip in the water!
Wasn't Finn out here too?

Cass would have lent him a knee or something to bounce back off of if water physics weren't completely stupid.

Fini went exploring. In some cave things. Hunting for other things she could assist fighting with. Weren't there mermaids out here? She thought she saw a flash of something...
And then something felt her up and if she could have shrieked properly, there would have been a girly shriek heard.
Fini found herself caught by inappropriate seaweed.

She fought with the seaweed, kicking and feeling violated and to hell with this Vashi kill them all! She summoned her weapon and hacked away at the seaweed, escaping mostly unharmed. Mostly.

Sigh Finn sigh. Sigh. Annoyed, Stormy whirled the sword and literally slapped a few mermaids back,; their indignant, watery cries were almost music to her ears at this point.

Okay, Stormy. Better. Seeing that he finally had a good moment to dive in there and strike, he swam forward, swinging his lance so that the spiked side of it struck against one of the mermaids tails. A thumbs up was given in return; anything to spite the evil things. They were not like Ariel and her sisters.
Brandishing her greatsword, she tried to catch most of their attention again, though when she swiped, another had decided to go after Finn anyway. But hey, at least she was keeping up the effort?

Yeah, water did make somethings really difficult to do. No ways to land, except that giant rock and each other, and sometimes keeping one's balance was difficult; not to mention, getting all pruny. It allowed for some pretty cool acrobatic feats though. Ones he had seen countless times in Power Rangers but was unable to do otherwise.
Despite the water's resistance, Milo flipped head over heels - in theory it would let the momentum of the spin like, increase the attack. And maybe with how thin Koume was, she'd slice right through the water all nicely. Seemed to work. Worked pretty well really. Or maybe it was also 'cause he barreled into a mermaid as well, gaining a nice cut to his shoulder.Quote: hp: 16/40 damage: 9 charge: 3/3-done mermaid hp: 380/777
