He listens..then raises his head at the question, before fixing his gaze down at the land below..finally forcing himself to stand, and dusting off. He really gives it some thought..then shakes his head..
"I can't rightly say. We can never truly defeat all the weakness in us. If we did, we'd become machines, or dolls. The weakness within is necessary; if we aren't weak, we won't try to fight to rise above it. I won't say I was able to beat my weakness. I will say however, I have realized it, and learned from it. There is much more to learn. Do we ever really know ourselves, I wonder..? This weapon..this blade.."
He rests his hand against the silvery guard of his weapon at his side..
"Perhaps one day it will tell me who it is..and in the process, let me know who I am as well. I can only hope. It is the same as my brother, and sister, who wield similar swords. There are three of them, these family blades. It is said, that when there would be three born to the house of Aoibara, they would be opened, released from the case they stayed in for so long. They are all sister blades. We do not know their names, of course. I hope to rectify that, someday. I hope one day, I can ask this sword's name."

"I see...seems like you are ready...from now on just wait until your sword is ready to answer you call, sooner or later the two of you shall become one and so your life will change, however I hope you keep walking the same path...I gave you this training and I'm glad I did, by doing it it you might have not noticed, but you sound like a different person than the odd one I met before..."
Looking down at the clouds and the blowing wind the young shinigami prepares to take a leap and literally jump down the cliff but before doing so he turns and says:
"I was offered a seated officer position in the gottei jusantai first squad after my graduation, however, even at my current level I feel like I have a lot to learn from you and the other guys that I'm suppose to command and rise, I have to thank you for the valuable lesson you share this time and from now on I guess all that is left is too improve each other to max...since one day the old mountains shall be forgotten and the new one shall rise over the sky...just like this one"
For some reson as he ended talking the face of Yamamoto Genryuusai appeared on his head. It was weird but at the same time it felt nice to remember the man to whom he owned his life. Devoting himself to a cause is not the same as enslaving yourself to a cause. They made sense now, the words of that crazy girl that he called sister. without further delay the young man jumps off the cliff knowing this was certain death for an inexperienced man, however with his skill and knowledge he stared to to use the rocks as landing spots and quickly made his way down the cliff.

He watches..he can't help but smile at the man's display of skill. Megumi muses for a moment. He can't help but feel he has a little something left..and that something may be what motivates him. Flexing his wrist, he takes a long drawn out breath..then gazes again as the man he just spoke too disappears from sight, down into the sparse cloud cover that reaches only the top of the mountain.
"He's a lot more advanced than I am. But I can't really face him again if I show fear. While it's in my nature to contemplate things..I can't just think about everything. I envy the freedom others have..so maybe this time.."
He just shakes his head..and gripping the guard of his sword..he takes a few steps back. Then after an intake of breath..he tenses just a bit..and makes a running start of it, before going right off the mountain..and keeping his eyes open the entire time, starts to sail down in the open air..apparently his approach is going to be different from the other man's. He can't match that level of agility as of yet..so he's going to improvise.

Keeping his eyes open the whole time to find the best place to land the young student keeps going all the way down through the cliff. He alternates sides from right to left in his jumps so he can reduce the distance between each jump causing less stress on his legs and hips. Compared to the hours he spent going up the cliff reaching the bottom only took him twenty minutes of so cutting the time spent vastly. when he was close enough to the ground he takes a big leap and makes a few spins in the air. Disappearing in a shumpo the young shinigami appears back on the ground holding the grip of his sword softly with a smile on his face, breathing heavily and drooping sweat all over his body.

Megumi really, really hopes this method works. In principle, it should, but that really doesn't matter; he has to apply it, and timing is everything. If he's right..he'll make a rather graceless landing, but still be for the most part, fine. If he's wrong..well. they'll be picking up the goo that's left of him from the trees around the mountain. Not a good thing. Still, it's time to test his focus. Taking a breath as the ground approaches faster and faster, he puts his hands out, and begins to make markings in the air; one of the two arts he knows, rudimentary for someone in the academy, and he hopes, really hopes he has enough to make enough of an impact to cushion him..his voice strong, he calls out;
"Oh ruler, mask of flesh and blood, all creations of the universe, fluttering of the wings, ye who bears the name of man! Scorching heat and disorder, the sea barrier surges, March on to the south! Hadou no Sanjuuichi: Shakkahou!"
Cupping his hands before him..just before he reaches the ground, he unleashes the burst of red heat energy that marks the favored Kidou of students, as well as in quick battles, next to Byakurai. When the sphere explodes ahead of him, it kicks up a cloud of dirt, which also, due to the concussion, sends him flipping over rather than straight down, changing the entire pattern of his inertia. Mind you, it sends him skidding repeatedly across the dirt..giving him quite a few cuts, bruises and obviously a rather indignant landing..and he mutters..again sounding almost girly..
"Mou..that landing wasn't very beautiful at all.."

As the boy lands Shinrei appears from the smoke of dirt generated by the Shakkahou. Cough over and over the reflection of his green eyes can be seen shining all over the smoke. With a demonic face that was creepier than that of hollows the young man speaks in a rather rude tone:
"What the F**K do you think you are doing...casting a destruction kidou from above when I was under you...where you planning to kill me with it or do you want to give me a heavy ASMA attack !?!"
Shinrei spoke while he coughed covering his mouth with one hand as the other pointed at him with. He was really piss off at the moment and didn't wanted to loose control over his emotions. Doing so would lead him to ending a life.

Megumi mutters, shaking the cobwebs out..and grunts..
"I didn't see you there, I jumped purposefully to the right of you so that I wouldn't hit you at all. It's not my fault you decided to sidestep over right under where I was firing! As good as my calculations can be sometimes, I can't predict what people are going to do..and anyway, there was only enough strength behind that to cushion my fall. I doubt I'd have done more than set your clothes on fire with that Kidou considering I didn't have much left anyway.."

"Heh whatever, I prise you for taking the risr and jumping, doing cracy things like that means that you are cracy enough to put your life on the line so you won't loose to anyone, is really nice to know indeed..."
Shinrei stands back on his feet as he hit his cloths with the palms of his hands trying to take away the dirt from his cloths. Wiping away the sweat from his forehead the young man starts to walk away as he takes a deep breath from fresh air.
"Well I guess is time to return to the academy, I'm tired, I need new cloths and over all there rest of the students also needs my tuition...furthermore, it seems like one of you guys is really close to archiving shikai...but we can pick her put on the way home."
Before he was too far away he stops once again and says:
"Oh and there is a river on our path, we can stop there for water and if we are lucky we can get a few fishes to eat too...learning a little from each experience we have is the only path to become truly strong...that is the greatest lesson I can offer you"

Megumi nods, and follows..musing on a lot of things as he listens to his new teacher. He knows he probably doesn't seem like most nobles do; most of them are very proud and distant, at least those of greater families. Megumi..well..he's just different.
"To be honest, I felt like if I hadn't taken that jump, there would be something holding back the freedom of my spirit..it was almost like there was something to be felt in the movement..but.."
He grunts as he stands up, and stumbles a little..gripping his right leg, making a face..
"Damn it. I didn't think I'd hurt myself too bad in the fall. I think I twisted it. Well, it's not broken, I know that. It isn't numb. I should be able to move on it. I'll get worse injuries than this in battle, so if I don't learn to move on it like this, I won't be able to move when I'm hurt either. Still, close to achieving Shikai? She must be something special.."
He can't help but smile..someone close already? He knows if he doesn't graduate and immediately have a seat, his family will be disappointed..but there was something nagging him..
"Something I was wondering. Yamamoto-sensei runs the Squad, but there can only be so many seats, right? What happens when they're all filled? There's a lot of things to do now with all the hollows so I hear. I don't think one squad will be able to handle them all, even if they are his personal troop.."

"Yes, Yamamoto Genryuusai formed this academy for fact, there are too many hollows and too little shinigamis, so with the increase of hollow attacks and the decrese in skilled shinigami the balance of the world have stared to decay, Yama-jii sensei, during our training he told me that even if the great families stared to give bird to many babies that carried their huge reiatsu...by the time those kid grow to be shinigamis Soul society would fall...furthermore...some Rukogai lads tend to have stronger reiatsu than the noble families, it was for this reason than Yamamoto-san created this academy"
As they walk forward the sound of water can be heard running down the river, taking a turn from the road and entering the woods the Shinrei finds himself in front of the river he mentioned before. Taking a small piece of cloth he bows in front of the water and wets the cloth.
"We are the second generation of the academy, however for what I see our potential is far greater than that of the previews generation, not to mention even as there is a Commander, a vice capitan and 20 seated officers handle matters inside soul society, most of the time they never visit the real world...for this reaosn all noble family buy their kids seats in the squads to protect them from becoming foot soldiers and be sent to the mortal world...however Yamamoto Genryuusai have seen that a supreme force trained under him is not good enough, is for this reson that 12 additional squads will be created each will carry a different duty in and outside of soul society. althought the numbers for the squads are already given none have been created...on my case...I was offered a seated officer rank but what I trully Aim for is to become a foot soldier..."
Taking the cloth from the water Shinrei places it on his forehead and takes sit on a huge stone next to the river.
"We should rest...for now"

"I think..were I to have any dream, it would be to head one of these new squads. In a sense, a squad would be a family, a group of those with a unified purpose, though not necessarily a unified mind. My family..while I love them, I don't fit in with them. To start my own, I think, would be what I want. My own men, companions and friends, like sons and daughters..I want to attain power, so I may head such a thing."
He leans back, and lays on the grass..closing his eyes..
"You're right. I used all my strength up trying not to become a splatter on the forest floor..I need to take a rest or I won't be able to go on much longer. But you know, if we're the greater generation..I can't wait to see what happens. Especially considering you and I..are very different. If Yamamoto-sensei doesn't like those with powers like you and I..I may have to keep what I am pretty secret. I don't want to jeapordize my chances."
And with that he closes his eyes to rest..for now.

"For as long as you keep it under control, there won't be a chance that he notice your power...I too wish to become a captain for the same reasons as you...however I wish to use my head rather than my sword when it comes to dealing with Soul Society affairs...who knows maybe one of these days I will end working under your squad eh ?"
He smiles before taking the cloth from his forehead off and taking a small banboo can off his shirt. Filling the can with water the young man take his first drink for the day. A smile forms on his face as he imagines himself wearing a shinigami captain cloak like Yamamoto's.
"Nesan...what would do do in my case...you left Soul society so I could have a place to return to...but I must admit I'm really scared...I'm trying to live to your expectation...even as we are not bound by blood I really...really want to belive that it is possible for me to be rising dragon...but...can I ever really become one..."

It's rather unusual, really. Megumi has this feeling in the back of his mind..one could say it's a feeling that something isn't right. Stretching a bit, he sits up, rubbing his eyes. No predators came for them the other night..two legged or four legged ones. As he rises, he nudges his new instructor of sorts..muttering..while rubbing his eyes..
"Hey..it's time to wake up I think..but I've got a weird feeling..is anything nearby, do you think?"
He knows the other man is more attuned to things, considering his training..

Shinrei was already asleep on top of his rock. On his dreams a lot of female shinigamis were serving him sake as well as giving him a massage. Of course he was laughing and telling jokes about nonesense that came to his drunk head. Unlike what anyone could expect once Shinrei fell asleep he was hard or nearly imposible to wake up. When when somoene did wake him up, they always ended either purified, wounded or murdered.

Megumi just...sighs. Why was this always the way his luck worked? he just shakes his head, and taps Shinrei with one foot, gently..
"Oi, Shinrei! Wake up. Something's not right, and I can't tell what it is. I need you to be able to find out, I can't sense things as actuely as you can. Jeez, what are you dreaming about?"
Megumi makes a face, and sweatdrops..
