Lloyd wrapped an arm around her as they got close to her home. "I agree, I'm making sure he doesn't bother her ever again. I swear it..."

It was then Eclipse stopped them from reading by appearing next to Eric and Roxanne. He layed down beside Roxanne, resting the nearest head next to her belly.
Eric smiled at Roxanne. "You know, that dog coming with this book couldn't be for nothing. I think this is the same eclipse from the story. How many signs do we need, Roxanne?"

"Not much more than this..." Roxanne replies, scratching the closest cerberus head behind the ears. "Based on what we've read so far, I believe you're right. I mean they never gave a description of this Eclipse but this one responds to the name."

Eclipse wagged his tail happily. He believed that they were remembering who he was again. The book that he was given to protect had helped!
"And, what of Scarlett, having her own Roxanne? I know you said your mother didn't have as nearly as many books as she had, but perhaps the answer to that is in this book" Asked Eric, he really thought that somehow, this was Roxanne's story. Little did he know that there was more to it than that.

Roxanne smiled as Eric tried to connect with more of the book still. "All this confusion could have been solved in a heartbeat if this paladin had simply given a description of the people they encountered."
(Watch as there are drawings of everybody doodled in the back of the journal by Lloyd. rolleyes )
Shifting slightly to prevent her bum from going to sleep on her as well as to accommodate their newest reading companion, the cerberus, Roxanne glanced over at where the rest of their group continued to slumber. Nodding, Roxanne stated "We'll see soon enough. We got at least half night to continue reading."

"True, but perhaps that wasn't a factor. Keith seemed important enough to be described well enough. We do know Scarett was named such for her hair, but that's it. And this Leon fellow, I think it gave a bit of description on him we glanced over." Eric flipped back a few pages to get a bead on that. From what was giving, that kind of described that death knight they recently encountered, but that couldn't be him, could it?
Well that was a whole different can of worms all together. He shook his head, and brought Roxanne closer to himself to kiss her. "If we have at least half the night, then that means we have more than enough time for the book and more..."

(Well Lilith is clearly the author of the book, but Lloyd must have contributed more than just that one chapter while her arm was busted. Perhaps even Lilith didn't know they were back there. Lloyd just drew pictures of various things in the back of her journal while she was sleeping or otherwise distracted.)
"That would depend on how fast you can read..." Roxanne replies with a smile before she kissed Eric and handed off the journal to him. With her hands free, Roxanne began to slowly rub her massive belly with one and pet the cerberus with the other. She could get used to this kind of living, staying up late on moonlit nights with the man she loved... and a hell hound.

"I think I can read fast enough. That is, if you give me the motivation." He said before taking the journal from Roxanne. It was his turn to read from the journal. He cuddled up to the warlock and continued to read.

The next day, Lilith and Lloyd worked on putting down wards around Scarlett's home. Lloyd was not certain what these were for, but listened to Lilith when it came to saying to help her with putting them down.

(Lol, as can I. Thats why I said it. =P I love this pairing. ^.^ They are so far opposite each other but they click together so perfectly! And I suppose that applies to both L&L and R&E.)
"These wards are to prevent Mathias, or whatever he is going by now, from teleporting to this location or anywhere within a couple hundred feet." Lilith answers, dabbing the paint onto wall.
Of course Scarlett wasn't pleased to have them painting the inside of her house with random magical scribbles but she could understand the necessity of them and chipped in her part when not taking care of baby Roxanne.

"Lets stick with Mathias. It reminds me that I want to kill the b****** for more than one reason." Said Lloyd, he could already feel the anger returning in his voice. The next time he saw him, things would be different.
"And you really think this be enough to prevent him from returning here?"

"Not this whole area but it will stop him from bothering us here." Lilith admitted. "But this will give us a safe base of operations to hunt him down from."
Wiping the paint from her hands on a scrap piece of cloth, she added. "I also included a ward of disruption in these so should he try anyway it will give him a monster headache if nothing else."

"You've really thought of everything." Lloyd shook his head and smiled. He thought Lilith was very resourceful, had it been him, he would probably attempt to summon more creatures of darkness. He reached over and wiped paint from his fingers on her face in play. Lloyd could really use some fun in his life again, and Lilith brought that just being with her.

"Oh you dirty bugger..." Lilith comments with a smile as she touched the wet paint now decorating her face.
Returning the favor she took rag she'd just cleaned her hands off on and playfully jammed it into Lloyd's face.

Lloyd fell to the ground and began to chuckle and squirm "You call me dirty? You're the one using a dirty rag!" He yelled in tease, he began to tickle her, trying to prevent her from dirtying his face any further.

"It was clean until this morning..." Lilith countered, gingerly throwing herself atop Lloyd as they continued to play tug-a-war over the paint covered rag, either of them really winning.
It was about that time Eclipse decided to join in on the fun, after all they were on the floor and that was his domain. Trotting over, the middle head went for the rag while the other two each went for one of their faces. Despite being a hell hound/cerberus, its spit was very effective at removing paint.

He continued to chuckle when Eclipsed joined in on the fun as well. The hellhound did quite well in cleaning their faces of the paint. "Not you too Eclipse! Settle down boy!" He said as he pushed the puppy away.
After awhile of play, he cleaned up his face and Lilith's with the rag. He smiled at her and placed his hand on her abdomen. "Hey, Lilith, how have you been feeling?"
