Lucian saw Anastasia start to tear up and he put an arm onto her shoulder. He smiled "Oh come on, don't be sad about it. Just know that if we weren't abandoned we wouldn't be who we are today. Everyones past, good or bad, has made them who they are." He looked at her with his smile widening. He always thought positive.

Max thought for a moment. "Since I'm his Weapon I'd say we're more like partners," he replied. They had just gotten to know each other so he wasn't sure how Lucien thought of him but he seemed friendly enough. "So why are you with Anastasia if your brother is her guardian?" He asked, curious.
