*Shortstraw was sitting at the table already and as keria walked in he smiled nd put his book on the counter behind him. He then nodded, "Its still warm." He nodded, "I had to try at least alittle bit." He laughed. "This is actully good too. I guess you were right. You can cook more then pancakes.* He nodded, "So can i eat it now?!" He said excedently.

Kiera smiled and nodded. "Of course." Asher didn't get seated at the table. She wasn't going to eat the food anyway. Well, she didn't eat mortal diets. Even Nina looked excited to see the food, and was obviously salivating. Kiera sat down and started eating, although almost laughed her food up when she saw Nina eating with her hands. Kiera had to spit back onto her plate otherwise it would have gone everywhere. She then looked over to Nina. "No, that's not how you eat." She stood up and reached over the table, taking Nina's set of fork and knife and skewering some meat on the fork before stuffing it into Nina's mouth. "There." She laughed then put the utensils down. Nina picked up the fork and knife and held them awkwardly. "Nyu?"

Shortstraw laughed aswell. But he got her attention and demonstrated, "Like this." He then looked to Keria, "probaby wasn't a good idea giving her a knife." He chukkled and dove intot he food, in heaven with each of it. He still loved good food. He missed it so much he would never tire of it. This was great. Keria and shorstraw eating as a familiy... well sorta... it wasn't like they were marrid or anything. He quickly let thoughs thought go and looked back to nina to see if she got it yet.*

Nina was sitting there, with a highly concentrated face, stabbing the meat with the fork over and over. "Nyu. Nyu. Nyu." Kiera just kept laughing. "I don't think she's got the hang of it yet." Nina looked helplessly to him. "Shooooooortstraaaaww." Kiera'd already finished her food, but kept seated with her head on her hands, amused as she watched Nina struggling with the utensils. Eventually Nina just put them down and started eating with her hands again. Kiera shrugged. "Eh, we'll work on that."

Shortstraw laughed. "Well there was a time i ate like that too." He smerked, "Before i sent you that letter." He finished the meal, "Which i am still so glad you came to find me. Anyways, that was good keria. Your offisally the cook in the house." He chukkled finally giving her the title himself.*

Kiera shrugged and leaned back in her chair, arms crossed, all smug. "Without me, you'd be still scrapping off the streets." She then laughed. "And you're just lucky that i learnt things over the time you were gone. Otherwise we'd be ordering out. And i'd love to see the pizza guy try and find this cabin out here." Nina eventually finished her food, still with her knife and fork thoughtlessly discarded beside the plate. She didn't understand what those were for. Shortstraw and the other scary girl used them. But what was the point when you had hands?

Shortstraw chukkled* "Well it looks like we both got some training in. I'm alittle better them before and you can cook." Meanwhile he was thinking. 'Though i'm still not even enough. I've already failed a few thimes infront of her. I still need to impresse her somhow to prove it was worth me going. Else she will grow to hate me. I have to win sooner or later.' He then smiled, "And..." suddenly there was a knock a the door. Shorstraw paused and looked over to it. "I hope it's not a pizza guy." He joked.

Kiera rolled her eyes. "Oh the irony." She grumbled a little as she stood up. "I bought this place specifically so that we didn't get this. Looks like that was an investment down the hole, then." She walked over to the door, and opened it sullenly. Asher at this point, made an effort to jump onto the table, eyes peeled. Nina however, was as clueless as ever and had started to play with her hands again.

*Veria stood there and looked down finding it was Keria who opened the door. He held up a spechal coller, "Shortstraw wanted me to make this. Give it too him please." Shortstraw appeared behind keria, "Hey veria. That was quicker then i expected. Thanks." Veria nodded. And so shortstraw smiled, "Well you can..." she shook her head. "I will not enter my sisters tarritory. I wish to just give this to you and leave." She nodded as it was taken and turned to walk away. Meanwhile shorstraw was kinda conffused. Tarritory?

Kiera shut the door, hard. Then walked back into the cabin confidently, getting back into a stride. She didn't say anything more as she began to clear away the plates over to the sink. Asher watched her, looked over to Shortstraw, then shrugged. Kiera was mostly silent for the next few minutes as she washed up, apart from a few mumblings.

*Shortstraw shrugged. So Veria handed him somthing and left. There was no need to get mad. This was obviouly the only place veria would not go. So she stayed outside. He already knew she didn't like comeing even to the outside. Either way though he smiled and inspected the coller. "Hmmm i think this will deffently do nicly." He looked to Asher with a grin. "I got something for you." He walked over to her and held it up, "And i dought you would like it." He chukkled, "Sorry i just felt it's needed."

Asher's eyes actually lit up when she saw the collar. Apart from bad experiences with collars, mostly with Kiera's tenancy to make her wear them in mockery, she liked the feeling of having one. She wasn't big with sentimental moments either, but she smiled. "Thanks Shortstraw. I like it." However she wasn't so sure about this whole thing of ownership. She knew she'd never be on her own again but she wasn't all that sure of her place yet. Kiera still kept quiet, and her ear pricked.

*Shortstraw nodded* "Well if your me and kerias and now we're our own little familiy i figured this was a good way to show it." He nodded. "But you see i didn't want to mock you or anything as if a regular cat. i know your not. So i wasn't going to get you a regular coller. Last night i designed this coller, and simply had veria craft it for me. We all know her stuff is spechal. He lightly put it on ashers neck. It fit perfictly but for asher, it hardly felt too much diffrent. "Okay the idea was. That coller first of all changes when you do. So no matter what you turn into it will change to fit you perfictly. So it wont hurt you. Second, it breaths so it doesn't make your neck stiff and so it dosn't bother you when you turn your head. Third, there is a spechal charm on it i also asked her to craft. This charm i wont fully tell you about yet, but it'll come in handly for you if you ever help me when killing other demons. Oh and..." he pointed to the side, "My symbol appears here. Now i'm not worryed too much about it but i want you to understand that its highly important for the other hunters to knwo your marked. Basicly your the only demon untouchable but the demon hunters rules." He smiled and nodded, "Also it's studded, and it's black to look cool. And i thought it would suit your stile." Meanwhile the charm was silver like a arrow with a blue orb in the center.

Asher nodded, and stretched her neck a little, then walked around a bit to see fi what he said was true. After a couple of minutes of testing, she was satisfied, sat down, and nodded. "Seems all good to me. I feel special to be the only untouchable demon. However i'm sure the demon lord won't be too happy about this. I'm surprised he hasn't asked to speak to me already. Either that or he planned for me to do something like this. I don't know. The demon lord is a weird guy. Or girl. I'm still not sure." In all honesty, she was surprised the demon lord hadn't acted out in violence against them. Or more tactful measures. She looked to Nina. No, she wasn't part of the demons schemes, she would have a different scent otherwise. Although she knew the scent from somewhere before. Kiera finished washing up, put the dishes and cutlery away, then walked out of the room, and upstairs. Once up in hers and Shortstraw's room, she almost had her face pressed up against the glass of the window, as she tried desperately to spot something.

*Shortstraw nodded* "Well if he ever showed up he's in for it. His bounty is the highest umong the list of demons. And also... if he tried anything else... i'm sure keria would be able to help aginst it. Either way i rather not worry about it. I'm glad you like it." He smiled and patted her head. Then looked to the stares. "That is if she's not grumpy. It is getting late. Maybe she's just tired." He nodded, "Sinc eyou don't sleep watch Nina. If she tries to attack you again... don't kill her but dow ha tyou have to to contain her." He replied walking up the stairs and soon enough slowly coiming into the room.
