Wolframite laughed. ACTUALLY laughed - and for anyone who knew him, he didn't laugh often or much at all, and certainly without as much enjoyment as before. He could hear them, and he recalled that memory. The point where he touched that touch piece back in the Rift and witnessed it's power. When the creature had flew over a village and opened it's massive jaws to let out a plague of locus upon those below without hesitation.
In his own state, he welcomed it, and it was Sailor Maia's misfortune that she had caught his attention just then. Focused on destroying the senshi, he urged that force and power upon Sailor Maia and waited, eager, to see her consumed.

"Hey you put up with me earlier, least I can to return the fav-"
His response to Gunn was cut off, though he managed to keep Leto's hand out of the Wildfire Eternals hair it came at the cost of an elbow to the gut. His hand slipped free even as Scylla approached. He wasn't the best at this by a long shot, a good ways off from ever owning up to a fancy pair of stupid buttwings let alone the titles that came with such things. It showed in just how easily Leto shook him off. Standing up behind Leto he pulled back his fist ready for a cheap shot to the kidney when the monster above them let out a horrid sound and swarm of bugs from above.
Soon it was down and around them, biting clawing insects picking at his clothes and tangling with the chainmail beneath. Every little bite burning a bit more then the one before. What should have been a brutal punch to the kidney for Leto was barely a dull thump as Hephaistos flailed about at the stinging swarm that clinged so eagerly to his body.

Cameron grinned at Veer and stared at the man's broad shoulders as he attempted to overcome him and win. Fate had different plans though, and instead of letting him pass Veer, it decided to just remove Veer completely. No joke, Veer was completely devoured right in front of Cameron and it brought him to a rather quick halt. He didn't have much time to grieve over the fact the only thing he had even remotely close to a friend had just decided to run into man-eating bugs (although it really shouldn't have surprised him) because after getting to Veer the remainder of them found their way onto Cameron
He screamed out as they attempt to do to him as they did to Veer but he began to swat at his arms in a dire attempt to live. He couldn't die like Veer, there was so much more he had to do in his life! He had so much that he could to do that Veer couldn't do now (although he probably wouldn't have done them with his life anyways). The thought had him lingering in front of where Veer had been for a moment to give one last look before running away without any heed for the direction he was heading, running as fast as he could in attempt to keep them off of him and to shake off what remained.

Then the locust came.
They swarmed both enemy and ally, and soon a group had clouded her, as well, shielding her as she moved away from her opponents. There were only a few of them, but it was enough for cover.

Oh Lina, if you only had let him kick this guy's s**t in a long time ago. To bad the past was the past, and in the present Castor was having to deal with a jealous general king. The only Lie I ever told her was that I didn't love her you fetid sack of s**t!" The hit to his knee got him down, but certainly not utterly out. No, thankfully Castor was made of semi tough stuff. But against a General King, his physical prowess was not going to be his aid. The senshi were the magic casters, fighters who used their innate born gifts. The negaverse was a force of trained fighters, who's few gifts were just to be bulky, or in Zink's case compact, powerhouses. "You were offered freedom from servitude, from the corruption inside of you. And you cast it away, you cast away your life." His wing caught briefly, the other moving rapidly trying to knock him off. "You say you have honor? Where is the honor in betraying your own world!?" His own fist swung up, aiming for vitals.

Draconis stared at the swam. Really? How the hell were they supposed to stop that?!
She ducked and headed for higher ground. Did bugs care about height? Well it certainly didn't matter to Draconis at this point. She didn't want to deal with any of those disgusting things.
Luckily for her, it seemed as though the bugs didn't want anything to do with her. She saw one bug fly lazily around her, and then nothing else. How pathetic! She shooed it away, but the thing wouldn't get the picture. Draconis sighed. This is what she came up to space for?
---
The new Chronos Knight wasn't so lucky. A little miniature mob of bugs surrounded her. They were annoying, sure, but she had more important things to do.
Namely, save Felix. She had heard his shout somewhere to the right of her. That mean he was still alive! It seemed he had a friend named Felicia too. She was going to save her as well of course. No one got left b-behind!
The bugs really were getting in her way though. The combination of annoying mosquito swarm and thick glasses was not good for anyone.

There were too many locusts. Too many of them. She registered being picked up, or sort of picked up by Celsus, but couldn't see for the amount of bugs both of them had. She started to flail, trying to get the bugs off.

The madness was fading. Celsus could feel his mind beginning to clear - but not before he had grabbed the new page around the waist, attempting to throw her to the ground so he could break her face with his foot. But the blonde lieutenant had already thrown a heavy kick to her leg, and Celsus took a step back, gripping the page's wrist.
Something shook him - it was like dragging himself out of a foggy haze.
What in the name of Chronos am I doing?
Horrorstruck, Celsus immediately let go of the page's arm, taking a step back. But before he could apologize, before he could help her, there was an enormous, horrible, constant buzzing noise and the battlefield was suddenly exploding with bugs - thousands of them, millions of them, swarming around each and every person, senshi, civilians, and Negaverse alike.
He couldn't see the new page or the lieutenant anymore. Staggering around, he stumbled blindly, waving his arms in front of him until he bumped into someone - someone with braided hair.
Celsus did the only thing he could do - which was reach through the haze of black, seize the arm of the new Chronos page, and fling himself over her, attempting to block her from the onslaught of locusts. There was no telling how much good it would do, but he was here to protect - and he was going to do just that.

[[Nothing Happened!!]]
Bela watched as Wolframite controlled a ton of bugs towards Maia. She was looking curiously as she shimmered above them, what sort of force allowed them to control nature like that?
What that the sort of power terrorists got? It was sort of impressive really. Her legs were crossed as she sat watching silently. Not doing much of anything to help anyone, other than just taking in what was going on and taking it in mentally. If nothing else it was something note worthy.

4 more posts of crazy! 17 locusts are now surrounding Sugilite.
The girl landed lightly, on all fours, as though this was a perfectly normal thing to do. As though it was no problem at all in heels. It probably was, now that the only parts of her brain ticking over were muscle control and senses. And the little part that said 'kill that one'. She didn't pause as the bugs settled on and around her, jumping forward again. No rest, no pause, she wouldn't give the senshi time to recover. She wouldn't give the senshi time to think. Again she charged Draconis, like some kind of broken record, only with teeth and nails.

Darwin discovered the hard way that it was really hard to outrun things that could fly. Especially if they were things that could fly that were magic that wanted to eat you.
There was a buzzing darkness, and then a nut-load of pain...
... and then nothing. Ghost!Darwin, oblivious to his new state, kept zooming around, thinking maybe he had outrun the flying-magic-maneaters after all.

Three of the buzzing bugs had decided they liked the blond and landed on him. He almost pet them as his sanity slowly returned to him. The oh s**t factor also kicked in, as in oh s**t I almost went for an eternal senshi.
Stopping himself in mid stride he watched as General Wolframite unleashed. Looks like someone was going to look like the man eaten by scarabs in the Mummy movie. The thought wasn't pleasing but he found himself watching anyway.
Turning around and glancing around himself he took in the fights going on. He wanted to aid and help someone...but who and how. The how he suddenly was hit with an answer to. Just like the great youma he knew he could do it. He could attack someone in the same way he'd seen it do so long ago. It was just this knowledge inside of himself.
"Looks like someones handling her." He may have spoken to her twice in the past but this was war, a battle, and he wouldn't help her. There were many reasons but most were as obvious as an elephant in a room would be.
Not knowing who to attack he went to defend the Great Youma.

"It has been a long time," she said with a slight growl, "not that is matters much. We are in the here and the now and you will not be as you so put it, putting me out of everyone's misery."
She jumped in an attempt to avoid the chained knife coming at her, not at all noticing Beni headed toward her from behind. No she was focused on the far more dangerous threat charging at her from the front.
Unfortunately for Maia it was time for another crazy attack and it seemed the youma decided it was time to attack them with a swarm of bugs. They went for everyone and that included Maia.
They swarmed about her head, biting her arms as she swatted at them, fortunately it wasn't many.

[Rolling for locusts next post Virgo: 3, 1, 5 = 9 Gunn: 8, 9, 6 = 23 Avalon: 1] The Professional Prophet The General stumbled back from the attack much less than Virgo probably would have wanted, in a manner more fitting of a zombie The earliest punches she'd thrown had already gone blue and purple both sides of his face. Deep crimson blood trickled from his neck where she had pierced him with her nails. His head was tilted to the side so far that she could see the muscle of his neck bulging, but gradually attempted to right itself and settle just a few degrees short of upright and normal. It almost looked like he was listening. Like maybe he was about to respond to her, in words rather than another exchange of blows. Something, anything to But he slowly raised his hands and twisted black metal filled the spaces between, clenched between his fists. A drop of blood escaped the knuckles of a gauntlet and stained the dirt, then another and another. He vaulted past Virgo, swinging the sword out as he did. It caught her by the flat and they both slammed hard into a wall of Chronos Outpost. Blood smeared sideways on the stones as Hematite pulled a busted lip away from them. The pressure of the sword dropped away from the small of Virgo's back. This close together, she could hear his breath rattling and see the way his dark eyes could barely hold a focus on her. It was like she was looking into the face of a rabid dog. The Negaverser she sought vengeance on was not in there, not now. What is going on...He was suddenly moving too sluggishly, too slowly. He didn't even look... alive. Had she killed him with her retaliatory blow, did the Negaverser's queen grant them life in death? Or had she just damaged him so much he was dying? Or... none of the above, it could be none of them. She brought her arms up into guard position, knuckles loosely curled as she'd taught Celsus they had to be, her feet shoulder-width apart and her knees bent. Hematite pulled his head on straighter, but not quite on; the Captain of the Zodiacs held her ground, reminded herself: he is a murderer. He deserved to die, and he had since the moment she'd seen the Princess screaming for all of them to run. Since she'd seen the light of the bomb, the smoke begin, heard the explosion rip through and shatter her eardrums, this man and all the others like him had deserved to die. Virgo held her ground until he sprung at her, the flat of his sword slamming into the small of her back. Had something cracked? She couldn't tell, but her legs worked still, she hadn't become paralyzed from it. Not like it mattered, she could feel the strain of her attack wearing on her. Just a little longer. Together they slammed into the brick wall, and Virgo left a bloody splotch from the front left side of her head. Crimson flowed freely from a sizable gash just on her hairline, and she smiled at Hematite in a very dazed fashion. Had the Captain of the Zodiac finally lost her wits? No; she felt her control of the attack fray, and then she tipped her head a little bit to smile wider. "You're going to die," she said softly. "And we're going to save the whole damn world." She let her control of the attack snap just as she pulled back a hand and slammed her fist into his bloodied face. [Gunn and Avalon's damage posts are here]
