KAIN

Or not..."

As the two Guards advanced towards Kain, he would lag behind until right about when the two Guards struck, and then leaped into action. Doing a predictable dodge, Kain simply turned his body so where his shoulder used to be, the swords would lunge out, but only one would hit nothing but air. The one that would have hit his left shoulder, instead stabbed into the large crystalline pillar that was attached to his back. The sword would actually manage to stab into the crystal, and cause a large crack to grow across the magnificent gleaming surface of the large purple slab. Immediately, as the crack formed, a massive amount of energy was released - this energy was so powerful that the longsword was capable of being melted down in an instant, or simply obliterated. Obviously, this could mean just as much damage onto the Guard himself, with no time to defend or dodge the blast.

With the his attention all on the remaining Guard, that is Guard(9), Kain would reach out and grasp his sword(the Guard's), his left hand reaching up to take out an crystalline orb which was, oddly, rainbow colored and immediately jerked his hand out to send the orb flying towards his opponent. Should it make contact, it would burst out harmlessly, but his opponent would be engulfed with rainbow colored energies, and would most likely come to realize he could not move. This was known as Fusion energy, not like the modern world knew of it, but instead a strong mixture of Physical and Spiritual energies. The end result in this case was basically a stasis field around the subject, which would restrain his physical being, and spiritual being - and nullify their ability to connect to the outside world, including powers.

The Ice Demon was slowly moving his way closer to the intruders. The blizzard made all to easy for him to keep track of them, and attack them from afar without any warning. But the sudden appearance of a creature behind the group had surprised him. He wanted to see who it was that had come so far out into the Wastes to this long forgotten temple. Are these fools after the Virtue? As he thought about the Virtue his hand would instinctively move to the helmet tied to his belt. Even if they killed him, unless they knew what they were looking for they would never find the Virtue, even with it lying on the ground in front of them. Janus had stopped on the top of one of the buildings five hundred feet away from the group. He couldn't see them with his eyes, but could make them out with his power. How easy it would be to freeze them all in Hell's Ice and walk away. But I wouldn't have much fun that way would I?

Kira Would Scan about until he got 2 scents from the blizzard, one was new, the other was the smell of blood, Turning to see Oni injured and him Summoning yet another Spirit, This made Kira Angry, Someone with Tactical Wits had Entered the Field. Drawing His Sword he'd Raise it into the sky and The Fire like Aura would Ignite Around him and cover his blade as well.

"Our foe is no fool, I didn't wanna go all out on anyone besides you Oni, But if we are dead it won't matter now will it. Cover up."

Having both hand's on his sword now, Sparks along with the flames would Crackle along the blade. The wind was Kira's Element of choice. Walking forward 2 steps Kira would let out a Roar loud enough to make the ground shake, As the Wind around him and his allies calmed down.

"I am Kira of the Azure Wind! Get your a** down here!"

Adding the Wind from the Blizzard was Easy enough, Usually he had to create his own wind, either by swinging his sword or by running, Having the blizzard around made it much easier for him to work his magic, litterly.

Surrounding the blade with the Vortex of wind again, Mixing in his Fire and Lightning to Create The Orbs that Explode on Contact, He'd Exhale once before he closed his eye's Feeling out the reason behind the blizzard, feeling the Wind coming from Above He'd Look up and attempt to make eye contact, If this guy did his homework, Kira had control over the Wind, He use'd to be the Azure Wind after all, A Formal title, But one that still had meaning to him. And thus he'd Roar again, The Snow around Oni his spirit and Desd would Melt away as they had room to work, Following up he'd swing his blade down toward's the ground, The Vortex creating a Twister the Size of himself, But with the fire and lightning mixed in, the Orb's returned, Able to Explode on contact, however his target wasn't the Person in question, but the building he was on. hopeing to bring the house down.

"Oi Oi Oni, I can smell someone toward's us abit away, But if it wasn't for this blizzard i never woulda got his scent, Pay's off being a wolf that lived in the tundra for so Long at times. Desd, Look toward's that Area, Can you get anything out of it?"

Kira couldn't point with his hand, So instead he did it with his sword as he was staggering to keep his balance as he was controling the Twister that was Clearing a path, Considering it was mixed with fire and lightning, it'd glow in the dark and melt away the snow along the way. Kira was alittle off balance and was out of breath, But that wouldn't stop him.

(last fancy post smile from now one it's the cellphone, <3 you guys and gals hope the post makes sense xD in a rush)

Raven Kanzaki
With a most unlady-like grunt Raven hoisted herself to her feet and dusted herself surcoat off. She groped in the dim light for Naga, grasping the Mahogany shaft. She chose to step ahead of Lucas--the ascending stairwell blocked by the debris. Having fallen into silence, she felt not need to speak, bu to listen. Every nerve was on higher alert than before; Despite her earlier awe of Aaron's domain, she remembered why she was distrusting of chambers like that: They always seemed to consist of being a trap. Raven disliked being caged, but she disliked being deceived even more. The virtue of Truth was one she had come to appreciate from Roan.

She slunk ahead of Lucas, the uniform she had originally arrived to Hell in began to shimmer and warp, altering itself into another equipped outfit. She chose to wear the traditional uniform of OXY; a black leather bodysuit enforced by the tiny steel plates. Her footsteps felt heavy, assuredly guiding her further down the wide area. She wanted to branch out with her mind and feel through her bond with Jesta' what was happening. She checked her reflex to do so when she reflected on Aaron's remark that their arrival had been foreseen. Knowing well enough from her Daemon's ability to see past, present, and future it was best to shift conscious decisions constantly. Time itself was always shifting, and paths and roads diverted at breakneck speed and oft without warning. The more she shifted her decisions, the less easy it would be to be kept track of, abilities not withstanding.

She slowed her pace and fell back to sidle next to Lucas's left, her head tilted slightly. She cocked an ear behind them, her gaze focused ahead of them. All at once, her Naginata disappeared in a shimmer of silvery light, splitting into two halves and solidifying into a dual pair of Sai. She felt better having a close-range weapon in such a space despite it's width. For all she knew they could be ambushed by guards from either side. She wanted to be able to disarm and have room to advance without hindering what little space they had.

[Pulling Strings]
It would not take long for Raven and Lucas to hear a set of footsteps ascending the stairs. The echo of this person's boots became clearer as the sound swirled upwards at the two. Lucas would at that moment refocus his attention to his present location as he noticed Kain, Avery, Negi, and Wyndom were taking care of things on their end.

"Earlier when I attempted to scan the area I couldn't sense anyone. I did not pick up any other bodies in the area aside from yours and mine. What's troubling is that whoever is approaching is obviously making physical contact with these stairs."

Lucas instinctively shifted his clothing to the basic attire he generally wore in a fight. With no armor, Lucas was suddenly wearing a black tank with matching black jeans and boots. His fingerless gloves were not only black but they were padded specifically for when the Imperfect Angel needed to talk with his fists. Although he would have had no problems wielding his great sword within such a confided space he would still choose to rely on hand to hand combat.

Regardless of how he chose to fight, Lucas would remain behind Raven as he waited for their opponent to make themselves known.

---

Steadily a single figure had walked far enough upwards to come into view. Cloaked as most people in this city were, this being revealed little about them. Slowly looking up it would become clear that this being had no face! Weather it was a mask or simply a lack of facial features was at question but there was no mistake that this being had come to confront Lucas and Raven.

"..........."

Without a mouth this being could not speak however Raven and Lucas would not need words to understand this one. It's actions would prove to be loud enough for the both of them to understand without fail! Without much warning the being waved out it's arms to fling it's cloak open. Within the shadows of it's cloak would be dozens of golden glowing eyes. A sickening amount of celestial aura would escape the being as the stairwell suddenly shook!

Each iris illuminated with an intimidating gaze and it would be then that Lucas and Raven would notice that each eye was branding an angelic rune on whatever fell directly within their line of sight. The walls, the stairs, and more notably Raven and Lucas would be burned with a rune that the ancient Celestials would only comprehend. However if Raven and Lucas did not avoid being branded they would come to understand the purpose of each eye. Rumbling still, the stairwell was about to be flooded with a holy flame! Everything branded by the eyes were made target for the flames as each rune was a symbol of judgment! However Lucas and Raven would have time to avoid being incinerated if they acted quickly!
--

"I don't think this thing is alive!? I think it's a puppet so don't hold back!"
Lucas gave Raven permission to destroy her target as he was about to find out that this thing was not fooling around! Although he expected Raven to dodge he would stand his ground. With the Celestial energy flowing out and the unmistakable feeling of heat, Lucas simply smirked and stomped his right foot forward. Most of his body had felt the burn of being branded by this cloaked beings eyes but it would not effect him as it should have. In fact his skin had been kept unharmed as his [second skin] took the heat for him! If this puppet wanted to play with fire then he'd take it's toy away from it and shove it in it's face! Lucas didn't simply intend to burn this thing, he intended to scatter it's ashes throughout this stairwell! With Raven's help the task was expected to be swift.

"Hm!"

At the stomp of his foot a plume of fire would ignite before Lucas. Roaring with intensity the two streams of flames would rush towards each other. This would hopefully give Raven a chance to attack the puppet if she wasn't caught within the flames...

To much surprise to most likely every onlooker, Avery wouldn't budge from his standing, but would manage to dodge the strike at his gut - his mid section just twisting like a plastic bottle, causing the blade to pass by within inches of running Avery through - hopefully Guard(1) was at least stunned by the sight enough that Avery could manage to bring about his left leg in a sweeping kick square to his jaw. Meanwhile the blade from Guard(2) would slice into Avery's right arm, but would go through. Of course, instead of blood coming out, a green gel-like material would splatter not only on the sword, but all over the guard's cloak and whatever skin that was exposed.

Ultimately the sword would become lodged into his arm, and no amount of force the Guard could produce would be enough to dislodge it, and with the momentum produced from the kick Avery would attempt to spin his whole body, which would of course force the Guard to either release the weapon or follow it. The main goal for Avery at the moment was to face Guard(3).

Should Guard(3) attack during all of this, his own sword would become in-lodged in Avery's body, and the green gel-like material would also spray all over the Guard, just like with Guard(2). Should the Guard continue to refrain, Avery would hopefully come to face this opponent. Should it all work as planned, Guard(1) would still be reeling from the severe blow from Avery, Guard(2) would be covered in Avery's essence, and either drug along with the sword, or sent away weaponless. Without time to cover, Avery would be facing the 3rd Guard 1-1, or at least for the instance.

Unfortunately, all of this was still most likely enough time for even a basic trained warrior to react to, but should Guard(3) still be where he was from the start, Avery's midsection would finally uncoil, with an extremely violent and rapid velocity Avery's upper body would spin, and thus bringing the sword with it. Ultimately, the sword lodged in his arm would swing about with his body, and hit the Guard with enough force to hopefully break his (left?) arm.

(EDITED!)

(( Interesting post. ))

Guard(1) was surprised at first but he was trained well enough to react to danger. Ducking first, the first guard would stab his sword down to try and stab Avery's other foot and pin it to the ground. Of course by that time Guard(2) was tumbling into the first guard as Avery spun around. Both guards fell to the ground as Guard(3) stepped back as Avery approached.

Although a little hesitant Guard(3) knew what he needed to do now. With his other two comrades fallen behind Avery from the spin, Guard(3) would hold his sword up with both hands and quickly pray.
"Facing my foe, I surrender my aggressions. Sealing!"

Guard(3)'s sword would glow with a soft luster as Guard(1) scrambled to his feet and uttered the same prayer. Avery would soon find that he was trapped within a transparent bubble of light if he had stayed between the two guards. If Avery didn't act fast he'd notice that his special powers would begin to weaken! And although Guard(2) was weaponless and had Avery's essence splattered on him he was still capable of utilizing his sword! Uttering the same prayer as well, Avery would notice that the sword lodged within his body would glow as well.

Avery would need to act quickly to prevent from being trapped.

Negi-Ukia
Seeing how all of his comrades would be taking action, Negi would just stand there and wait for guard (4), and (5). As the sword of guard (4) came down, he would turn three hundred and sixty degrees to the right moving out of the way of the blade. As he came around, Negi’s scythe would be swung around and would be aimed at guard (4)’s abdomen in the back. If anything would hit first it would be the tip of the scythe, and with the forward motion of the guard it would have sent him forward even faster. The most that would be damaged would be dealt would be being stabbed in the back, but not enough to be killed.

Instantly after swinging around and swinging at the guard, Negi would jump over guard (4) letting go of his scythe, and would twist in the air to prepare his next for of action. He would be positioned just above guard (5) facing down in mid-air slowly descending so it seemed. Then he would twist his body in one more movement, and then he would kick at the other guard in the face while he was hesitating.

When Negi would land on the ground, he would hop once and then get into a kick boxing stance. Shuffling around so when they recover he would be ready, but in between his hands an arc would occur allowing electricity through his hands. The summoner was preparing to ready his next assault.

Guard(4) quickly swung his blade to the left, naturally turning himself with the motion. Although it was swift it was sloppy and it would barely prevent Negi from piercing into the guard's back! Blades would clash together and ring out through the hall as Guard(4) was sent tumbling forward. Guard(5) had little way of preventing Negi from kicking him as Negi's little stunt would throw him off.

Stumbling back and grunting, Guard(5) clenched his teeth before slowly closing back in on Negi. He'd slash his sword down, the tip of the blade aimed to cut down from the left side of Negi's chest and down to the right side of his torso. It would not take long for Guard(4) to come rushing back either! He'd nearly mirror the other guard by slashing up at Negi's back. If Negi was unable to dodge he'd be cut into and both guards would close in to try and subdue him.

Bending his knees slightly, Wyndom's focus would turn to Guards (6) and (7). Turning his body to face Guard(7), Wyndom would release a violent gust of wind while simultaneously jumping backwards and out of the way - straight into Guard(6)! Wyndom would time this so that he would rocket back into the guard before either had fully reached him, hopefully catching Guard(6) unawares, but even if he managed to strike out at Wyndom with the hilt of his sword, it wouldn't leave Wyndom with much damage at all.

Intending to tumble backwards onto the ground, Wyndom would anticipate rolling backwards to a squat just behind Guard(6)'s head. Should this be the outcome, Wyndom would utilize another element, lacing his right fist with electricity before pummeling it directly at the guards nose, intending to shatter it and likewise send electricity shooting through the guard, paralyzing him. Wyndom didn't expect this attack to hit, so if it smashed into the ground he would simply remove his fist and stand up.

If Guard(6) wasn't knocked over, Wyndom would blindly drive his left elbow backwards in the hopes of hitting the guards stomach before twirling away to the left if unhindered. He would finish his 360 degree spin making sure to face Guard(6), but was also keeping his attention on Guard(7) via his electrical treadmill. Guard(7)'s movement would not be unnoticed by Wyndom, and he was ready for the guard to rush in at anytime.

Wyndom's treadmill would continue to expand outwardly, and what was hard to notice before could hardly be over looked now - there were clouds forming inside the cathedral?! A small wisp of cloud would hang several feet above each and every person in the building, friend and foe alike. This would be more of Wyndom's doing, but currently the clouds posed no threat. They would begin slowly expanding like the treadmill.

User Image

Guard(6) widened his eyes in surprise as Wyndom crashed into him. However he'd have time to shoot his weapon up to sloppily guard himself as Wyndom pushed into him. Now it would be the guard's turn to push back as he tried to put a little more distance between him and Wyndom with his hand. It would seem that his face was about to be punched in but Wyndom would barely miss. The guard would then attempt to move with Wyndom as he nearly the full force of Wyndom's elbow. However with Guard(6) moving, Wyndom would find himself between the two guards.

Guard(7) had missed with his slash and had stepped around to try and keep Wyndom facing him. Kicking at Wyndom's left shin, Guard(7) shoved his right foot forward before stepping into his attack to swing his blade up at Wyndom's left shoulder.

Wyndom would also hear Guard(6) begin to utter the same prayer as the first three guards had. His sword would begin to glow but so far there was no enveloping bubble around Wyndom.

Guard(8 ) scowled although he was equally surprised at Kain's movements. Although the guard would not wait to see what would come out of the crystal his sword was still damage all the same! Having stepped to keep himself directly behind Kain, the guard dislodged his sword as he noticed most of it had been destroyed! Tossing the weapon aside, the guard would pray, "Forge my soul into my blade, molding my spirit into shape!"

As he prayed an aura of energy would manifest within the guard's hand. Another longsword would appear but the guard would not be able to assist his comrade right away. Guard(9) would act quickly and turn with Kain as he grabbed the guard's left arm. The guard would sweep his right foot into Kain's left leg as the guard attempted to shove his right arm into Kain's upper chest to topple him over. This would possibly allow the guard to avoid being trapped by Kain's multicolored energy while simultaneously putting him on the ground. If Kain was put on the ground Guard(8 ) would move forward to try and keep Kain subdued.

[Showdown at Capital Cathedral!]

Alexandria continued to stand still as she watched everyone fight. Even with Wyndom's clouds beginning to form she didn't seem to be worried. It looked as if her plan was to let her guards do most of the work! However it was starting to become noticeable that the particles of light around her were beginning to pulsate with power! The low hum of charging energy was becoming louder by each turn!

Despite her charging her energy, Alexandria would point at the ground before her. A spark of Celestial energy would light to life as she began engraving the ground with an angelic rune. This rune would take Alexandria more than one turn to complete but she was obviously not concerned about time. Just what was she up to?

"Yes, Parabatai."

The moment it flung it's cloak back, Raven's body began to blur and tremble, until it fully fell out of line of sight to the naked eye. This served to keep from immediately being branded, and to test her element of surprise. She shot between streams of flame where she could feel the intensity of the heat beneath the leather of her uniform. The brightness would have been beautiful if not deadly, a last fleeting thought before her mind shut down to the basic instinct to fight. Raven knew beforehand that this would be the first fight of her Ascended form, something few lived to see and find out. It was no special feat: had she Ascended outside of Heaven's Realm, she would have died a gruesome death. There seemed to be a balance, the loss of her connection to the Elements for the extra physical prowess she would soon execute.

Raven extended the longest prong of her left Sai out for one of the glaring eyes that seemed so intense. She specifically chose one directly at the epicenter of the Puppet's chest, knowing that regardless of its reaction, she was merely testing the waters as quickly as Lucas allowed her. Elevation worked to her favor, her descending form down the stairwell throwing momentum to her attack as her physical speed slowed and she popped back into direct view, two inches from contact. Several ideas had popped into her head. Scenarios compiling and each effective solution unfolding before her very eyes in the few seconds she had executed her attack; Raven was more than prepared, but for now she knew she had to pinpoint a weakness and eradicate the threat.

[Pulling Strings]

The Puppet reared it's head up in sudden realization that one of it's targets had appeared before it. The sudden burst of movement and the fluidity of Raven's motions had pushed the puppet to react. Although fast, Raven's attack would be met with retaliation! Each eye suddenly rotated to look at Raven and Lucas with a vertical glare. White wings would manifest, colorless feathers suddenly jutting outwards from within the puppet's cloak. Raven would feel her accumulated momentum suddenly used against her! Each feather would collectively nullify her attack and use it against her. She'd be pushed back and slammed into the stairs if she wasn't able to dodge or counter. However Raven's initial strike would hit true!

"!!"
The impact would strike hard but Raven would notice that her attack had only sent the puppet flying backwards without damage. It's body had flashed as angelic runes flickered over the puppet's body. It would land on it's feet and wrap it's cloak around itself as it looked up to the walls. It was clear that this puppet would not go down easily and it was not done with it's assault!

The runes that had burned into the walls and onto Lucas' skin would flash all of a sudden! The flames within the stairwell would be sucked into each rune as they all absorbed the intense heat! The most concerning thing was that a crimson eye had formed over the faceless puppet at it's forehead. There was a passionately burning aura over the eye as the puppet looked back down to Raven and Lucas.

Lucas would click his tongue in annoyance as he felt the warmth of his [second skin] leave his body. This would be bad as he would no longer be connected to the others. It was also bad as the opponent had ways to deal with fire. Lucas would quickly step back, stomping his other foot down as he further manipulated his element. The stairs behind the puppet would become frosted over as Lucas withdrew the heat from that area. A giant pike of ice would form and shoot up into the puppet if it did not evade or counter. Hopefully Lucas could catch the puppet off-guard as well as provide Raven more opportunities to attack.

"Ergh--just how I like it!"

Raven hissed softly at the retaliation--clearly this would be more exciting than she anticipated!

Adrenaline kicked her into high gear as she was more than pleased to see the results she expected. The Neohuman's speed hastened again as one split second she flew back with her body's own momentum, the next she shot to the far left wall and recoiled with a flip. She felt the searing cold of Lucas' pike whizzing past as she slid down three stairs along her right thigh, the left leg crossing over as she clambered back to her feet in one movement. Without missing a beat, the Sai twirled, manipulated by the slender digits coiled around the sharp prongs she wield. Though it's initial intention were to disarm any guards who may draw swords on them, Raven was quick to improvise.

Now a flick of her wrist and the fluid disentanglement of her fingers launched the Sai, the low whirr as it flung through the air the few feet between herself and the puppet. She had to devise this second test, allowing Lucas' pike it's initial attack. Raven had not missed the reaction of Runes, or the glaring eye. In fact, the newly manifested eye had become Raven's target, the Sai's sharp prongs flung swiftly for it's epicenter. Even as she had released the weapon--cutting her defenses down by half--her form seemed to blur, sliding back out of focus. She retained her speed, waiting for the short moment of impact. Though she could not be sure, her gaze rest on the puppet's cloak and the manner to which is draped from the being's shoulders. Her mind whirled with possibilities, the tiniest smirk on her lips as she shifted to crouch, reading to pounce.

Wyndom quickly turned to his right, taking the kick on the back of his calf instead of his shin. It'd form a nice bruise shortly, but it shouldn't slow him down too much. Unfortunately Wyndom's armor was designed to stop incoming swords, arrows, and other piercing weapons, he could still fall prone to more physical, widespread attacks.
Immediately after turning, he would duck and roll as the sword whistled above his back. He couldn't wait around forever, Alexandria appeared to be up to something, and leaving her alone was unwise. She had the advantage of numbers and time, but Wyndom had confidence in his allies abilities. Lucas had placed him in charge here though, and he needed to show everyone why, though it would take some time.

Slipping a couple kunai out from under his cloak as he erected his body - now facing Guard(6) - he would throw one aimed at his face. The second one he would merely drop, and it would sink into the ground, disappearing from view. Not waiting to see if the kunai worked to distract the guard from his enchantment, Wyndom would spin about to face Guard(7) who would probably be on his tail by now. His right hand was open, and electricity was sparking at the end of each finger tip. Depending on where Guard(7) was, Wyndom would close his hand to form a fist, and a violent shriek would emit as the electricity joined together, forming an obviously more powerful attack then his first one. Dancing light enveloped his fist and he would jab it straight out at the guard, regardless of distance. Should he be within striking range and connection was made, a large shock wave would emit between the two fighters, probably tossing them both backwards. Escaping death if hit point blank was unlikely.
However, the chance that the guard wasn't quite upon Wyndom yet was more probable. If this was the case, a white beam of electricity would launch itself out from Wyndom's fist, causing Wyndom to slide back a good 6 inches. It would be upon the guard at an incredible speed, and while getting hit with this wouldn't kill him, it would surely knock him out. Although he could have some type of defenses set up to protect him, and there was always the slight chance he could pull off a dodge.

If, and only if, his attack struck and took Guard(7) out of the fight, Wyndom would turn around to visually see what Guard(6) was up to.

[Pulling Strings]

One thing would occur although Lucas and Raven had both attacked. The thrown Sai and the ice would collide into an intensely hot field. The Sai would probably bounce off but not before absorbing enough heat to burn bright red. The ice would melt as a light veil of steam formed from the two elements colliding. Upon seeing this Lucas would take two steps forward without hesitation. The Imperfect One needed to become aggressive and demonstrate that he was Heaven's ruler for a reason. Although in the back of his mind there was a whisper of a reminder that he and Raven were probably playing into a trap.

Since when has any trap stopped Lucas from willingly springing it?

"Alright..."

Snapping his fingers, Lucas manipulated his element to pass through the walls as radiowaves. This was a simple tactic to move his element through solid objects and without detection. However these waves of energy would be weak until Lucas intensified the energy while shifting the wavelength to something more potent. In short, Lucas would create small expansions of heat to burst every rune the puppet had burned into the walls. Immediately, Lucas would take a deep breath and hold his hand out towards the puppet. Lucas' power came from his focus and he would now demonstrate how fierce he could be.

"Pierce through..!"
The heat within the stairwell swelled up around the puppet and the room began to glow white. A gust of wind picked up and swirled wildly around the three as the Light Bender formed seven bolts of light above the puppet. These bolts would shoot down to attempt to pierce into the Puppet's upper body. However he'd need Raven's assistance to seal the deal as he expected the Puppet's barrier take effect!

Small plumes of fire would flare up around the puppet as the heat barrier concentrated on shielding the puppet from Lucas' attack. Lucas' electric blue eyes would stare down the puppet's one crimson eye until the puppet opened it's cloak again! The mist and the water from earlier had been sucked into the puppet's cloak! Another eye would form and slide into the left "socket" while the crimson eye moved down to the left. The new eye that had formed opened to reveal a deep blue eye with an aura that seemed far more soothing than it's counterpart.

"......."

Without warning the puppet would swing it's right arm up as water formed into a whip like blade from it's hand. A deep cut would be slashed into the stairwell as the puppet aimed to slice Lucas in half! Raven would have to be careful as well as the puppet started to swing the whip like blade around wildly. There wouldn't be much room for Raven and Lucas to move around as the puppet aimed to cut both warriors down! And getting too close would result in a nasty burn.

The intensity of her fear initiated her fight or flight responses. All at once the world fell away from the line of her vision, and she saw only Lucas. In that split instance she Saw him, envisioned every vivid detail. She needed this, she wanted it, and she would seize it; It was her Will. The sharp, flaring pain that erupted into her mind dared to blot out her concentration. Raven had long-since mastered losing interest in the pain. She seized Lucas by force, her mind forcibly yanking him against her as she pressed her back to the right side of the wall.

"And that,"
She exhaled with a brief nervous laughter, blood seeping from her nose; her speech was rapid and mumbled, "Is why behind every great man there is a woman..." With a grunt she slipped from behind him, stepping off a stair. The muscles of her calves coiled a sprung, the Neohuman's form blurring. The Puppet swung wildly, the blades slicing dangerously. With her singular Sai in hand, Raven made the split decision to launch herself as close as her body would allow her to get. Light's second skin had dissolved away, but Raven's own method would be either costly or helpful.

The Psychokinetic energy rippled in the air around her, the blade bouncing away as she encased her own body much the same as Lucas would use his ability as an armor. Now she flung herself at the top of the left wall and pushed off, aiming to soar over the Puppet instead. The pulse of her Psychokinesis dimmed and intensified with her concentration. Shifting, balancing. It did not make her invincible and the results of extensive use were detrimental. For every shift of her concentration, Raven left herself exposed. She could feel the intensity of the heat as she neared closer and closer to the puppet from overhead, her Sai poised to attack.
